The kitchen is very well equipped for self-catering, the house and garden are clean and comfortable and you can't beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves! Didi was also extremely prompt in answering any questions we had. Thank you! No complaints from us!

• Bruno (10/5): Excelente lugar - La tranquilidad del lugar y todo el bosque de plantas que lo rodea. También los anfitriones fueron muy cálidos. Sería genial que las habitaciones individuales tuviesen cocina!

The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙

• Marinka (9/5): Superb - Beautiful and atmospheric -- really suits the overall relaxed and warm energy of Mompiche. Clean rooms and bathroom and wonderfully decorated. Very kind and involved hosts to add to that; felt very welcomed! If you like to sleep in; adjecent to the property of la Caleta there is an outside gym with music playing from 7 am onwards (don't know if this is always so, could also just be my bad timing). Although when I mentioned this to Didi he himself so kindly went over to ask if they could lower the volume, much appreciated!

I loved hearing the waves as I rested or fell asleep at night! the hosts were so kind and helpful! they recommended the beaches to visit and how to get to them. These folks and their place are lovely. You definitely want to stay here if you are in Mompiche! nada
