Jenna (10/5): Beautiful getaway in the San Jose hills - Susan was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She offered to arrange transportation from the airport for us, provided great restaurant recommendations in the area, and provided laundry service for a small additional cost. The apartment is beautiful and modern with huge windows and lovely natural wood finishings. It is attached to her house but we still felt like we had enough privacy. Her dog came by to say hi to us a few times and was very friendly. A very minor thing but when we had the windows open, the breeze and difference in air pressure would cause the doors to different rooms to slam unexpectedly. This could easily be solved with a few door stoppers!
