• Rahel (1/5): - TLDR: Do not book your stay there! I had booked accommodation at Gazi Home in the beginning of June. The arrival went smoothly, but the place was clearly lacking in care. The shower was missing one glass door (in the pictures on the site it's still visible), so I bought an extra shower curtain, the walls were a bit dirty, and the kitchen could've been equipped better (with essential salt and sugar for people staying there). I also soon discovered that there is a metal music club next door to the accommodation that's open from Tuesday on. (If you are a light sleeper, it will probably disturb you.) Soon, however, I started to notice bumps appearing on my hands and legs. Since the bumps were itchy and painful, I went to a local pharmacy to seek advice, where I was told that they were most likely bedbug bites. I then went to a hospital, where the dermatology department confirmed that they were indeed bedbug bites. I left Gazi Home immediately and booked a new place to stay for the remainder of my trip. I immediately informed the apartment owner about the situation, but he couldn't care less about it. There was no interest on his part to solve the situation or take any responsibility, and soon after I had left, I was told the apartments had already been sold and that new owners should deal with this. Of course, this has not happened. As I'm sure that also no bedbug contamination has followed. I have never experienced such a lack of interest in taking care of your place or your clients. In short - do not book this place.

• Simone (6/5): Comfortable and well-equipped, but with a few small downsides - We had a great stay! The apartment was cleaner than most places we've stayed at and well furnished. The self check-in process was flawless and made everything really easy. It looked just like the photos, and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom lets in too much light, which made it hard to sleep in. The area felt unsafe, especially for women traveling alone — probably fine for men, but I wouldn’t recommend it for solo female travelers. The bathroom’s shower glass is broken, so water splashes everywhere when you shower. There was a light sewer smell in the entrance/bathroom area at times. Around 3 AM, the neighbors were very noisy with loud music, likely from a nearby venue — this happened Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. I found a cockroach in the bathroom coming from the shower drain.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - Good location, a quiet street with no traffic noise. Very close to the Kerameikos metro station (direct connection with the airport, no need to change metro lines on the way) and within walking distance from another one, Thisseio. Nice walking path to Monastiraki, Plaka, even Acropolis. The apartment itself is renovated, very clean and comfortable, with all the facilities working and good WiFi. There's a rock club around the corner - it's not music that you can hear but the walls transfer the bass sounds. Depending on your personal sensitivity and sleep pattern, it may or may not be an issue. Even so, the overall 'noisiness' of the place is way below the Athenian average.

• Andrea (5/5): Passable - Nice apartment, comfortable and also pretty cool. The host is a kind person. Not really clean, we had to clean up the kitchen and the bathroom before using them. We also found dead cockroaches under the bed.

Apartment was very comfortable and clean, looking just like on photos. Thank you very much! There wasn't just remote control for tv.
• Dario (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, it was 25 minutes walk from the centre, fairly quiet neighbourhood, easy to get into the apartment, keys in a lockbox, apartment is nice and fairly modern inside, has what you need, quite good kitchen. Unfortunately, our check in time was 15:00 but when we arrived it wasn't yet cleaned, and the cleaner didn't come until 18:30. Would have been nice if we had been told about this.

• Taylor (3/5): Very poor. Lack of basic essentials including no Wi-fi or water and a room with a severe damp issue. - Self check-in was easy. No Wi-fi for duration of our stay, told owner but it wasn’t fixed. Meant TV wouldn’t work either. Water pressure suddenly dropped so only a trickle came out taps/shower, so we then had no water in the property at all for the last couple of days. Severe damp in downstairs bedroom. Dirt and bugs in that bedroom too - essentially unusable. Whole house smelt very damp. Next door to a club that is very loud and open till 5am nightly.

• Rachel (1/5): Bad - One of the beds was in a basement room which was not advertised online or in photos on the booking. This room was infested with cockroaches. (The black marks on the ground in the photo are cockroaches)
• Anne (3/5): Cockroaches - Spacious apartment, comfy beds. The room kept getting cockroaches in it. I had to kill them myself but they kept appearing. This was probably because the bins hadn't been emptied from the previous guests. I reported this multiple times but they were never emptied.

• Betty (8/5): Very good - The comfort level is acceptable, but there is an opportunity to enhance the cleanliness. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal strength could be improved as it is intermittent.
• Efstratios (1/5): Dangerous, dirty, and full of cockroaches to be used only as a torture dungeon - Nothing! We left immediately. Dangerous! We left straight away don’t be fooled by the photos read the reviews! Full of cockroaches on the beds!! Spiders .. and black mould on the walls. The place smells bad and it’s dirty. The bedsheets appear like the were used but that’s not even the worst bit. There have been 2 robberies the last month putting families in danger and it seems they have spare keys allegedly. Contacted the property but they refused to help also Booking customary services were useless they only care for the commission and they also refused to help or give me a refund. Do they care on the standards of properties they advertise on their platform. Use something else if you can
• Marianthy (3/5): Poor - The apartment was spacious and comfortable We were robbed. Our apartment was ransacked. Believe the robbers had a key to the front gate entry and our apartment door, as there was no forced entry.
• Yeeji (4/5): I will NEVER book this facility again. - Only the location. Walking distance to the subway station. The room was not ready when we arrived. It was around 4pm which was after the check in time but the room was so messy and disgusting. There was no toilet cover in the bathroom as well. After cleaning, it was still dusty and they left the used blanket from the previous customers in the room. The corridor looked like still under construction and it seemed not safe to walk cross to my room.

• Mairi (5/5): Passable - Big rooms Windows locks didnt work or we didnt know how to lock it and we were robbed first day when we were out of appartment. Water problems on floor.
• Kiki (3/5): Poor - The location was good. Very close the the metro and all the main sites The host never came to greet me or check in during my stay. There was obviously renovation works going on and the courtyard was a bit intidy. It would have been nice for the owner to let me know before hand because the property I saw in the pictures was not the one I was offered. On two days workers came and started drilling right outside the flat. The second time it was at 8am with no prior notice that this would be happening and they left a huge hole in the ground which was not covered. Huge health and safety hazard. The lights in none of the outside areas were working and on the first night I almost tripped down one of the steps. On the last night I was very weary to not trip into the whole. Also, one of the workers spent the best part of 10-15 minutes screaming on the phone just outside. The property had all the basics and was clean but all the above just made the experience very poor.

• Semsettin (5/5): It was okay but there should be some points they have to fix.. - They let us leave our luggage for extra hours..we did checkout on time left the luggages until our flight time. Thank you for that. It was well decorated. Families with kids might be hard to stay. Hot water was not enough. There was smell of humidity.you need to refresh the apartment often. Under the entrance floor there was a machine for humit it was working 7/24 when we sleep it was a little noisy. The towels could be better.
• France (6/5): Great for party people but was not great for my mom who couldn’t sleep the whole stay because of the music - Loved the furnitures and style, really comfy and stylish vibe Liked the fact they was a laundry machine and a oven Nothing to cook, adding just salt and olive oil + parchment paper for the oven make a huge difference for a few euros
• Desmond (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely central apartment, just 3 mins walk to the metro and central to all tourist attractions. Owner was really keen to ensure our comfort. Local cafe 1 min away, Mary's, where we had breakfast every morning at unbelievable low prices. A wonderful apartment for tourists. All good. No complaints.

• Christodoulos (10/5): Would definetely book again there on my next visit - Very good location, very close to the center, metro stations, atms, restaurants, cafe and clubs. There was almost nothing that I didn't like. I consider the low bass sound from the clubs near by a very minor issue because you can sleep with ease.

• Geoffrey (7/5): Nice, well-rounded apartment in a great neighborhood and convenient to food and transportation. - Location was great, washing machine was nice. Great balconies! Overall, it was clean and nicely renovated and furnished. We had a blanket that was clearly dirty from body odor in the cabinet, plumbing issues in the downstairs apartment with water leaking onto the floor. There was also a broken handrail with an extremely sharp metal edge leading downstairs. A few broken handles etc. And a few more blankets and towels to accomodate all the beds would have been nice.

The host was always available, I had a problem caused by myself at late night and he was ready step in as soon as I contacted him. Nothing, the experience was good

• Cansu (2/5): Horrible! - It was looking well decorated and equipped but unfortunately it was just an image We have booked 2 flats. When we arrive it was around 15:15. We have seen some garbage flies and a little smell at home. as we want to see city, we dropped luggages and left home. We have been back around 00:45 and home was smelling disgusting. When we go ground floor to second bedroom there was sewage water comes from vent. There were bugs and flies. There were no way to stay. That’s so shame! We had to leave the place midnight. We tried to find hotel to stay six people together. I wrote him and he didn’t reply. Next day from booking I wrote from booking. He said ok but no sorry or tries for refund. still no refund. Unfortunately we have lost time, our mood and money.
• Dale (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Train station is a 3 minute walk and right near the heart of Athens. Many bars and restaurants in the area.
