Guest Reviews
- Olaf (9/5): Good R&R - Excellent location. Herr Bruno was very helpful. I prefer a shower cubicle
- Marie (10/5): - Tout était parfait !
- Clive (10/5): I stayed for 21 days and it was lovely and peaceful. Sitting on the veranda looking at the view was a plus. - All perfect N/A
- Kate (9/5): Had an enjoyable stay, the area is quiet, location is great and the property was very comfortable. -
- Thomas (8/5): Totally recharged and tanned from head to toe! - Firstly Casa Aloe is one of three bungalows on the plot for rent. It fits our needs very well and is presided over by the hosts Bruno and Doris who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Having stayed here before we knew what the accommodation and location was like. It is iIdeally situated for one of two tidal pools in the village, a further spit of land called Monkeys Rock where diving and snorkelling is practiced daily and has 3 restaurants along with a small tapas bar by the supermarket. The village is a naturist village and has been since the early 1970's. It is a safe and peaceful location allowing you to enjoy the lifestyle without concerns what the neighbours think. If you like walking then this is certainly the place to stay as you are able to walk beyond the boundaries of there village in either direction carrying only a smile and maybe a small had towel to sit on. Whats not to like! My only observation concerning the accommodation for someone staying as long as we do (4 weeks) is the poor wifi connection which I was unable to resolve and had to put up with the, this did not detract from the holiday and I'm sure can be resolved quite easily. Another shame is the number of non naturists that book accommodation within the village thus hampering genuine naturists from staying.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Everything you need for a comfortable stay! And very helpful hosts!🙏
- Thomas (10/5): Home from home, returning again enjoy tpeace & tranquility that the Casa and village has to offer - We have been coming to the area since 2015, therefore the area, village etc is well known to us. We travel here twice a year which says a lot for the place. Peace, tranquility and a safe location is the reason for us returning time and time again. This was the first time we had stayed at Casa Aloe and we found it as we expected and have booked two more consecutive stays at the Casa this and next year. The host and on site contacts were extremely friendly, quick to help and gave advice when needed. The Casa was home from home in many ways. A heater was not readily available but if asked for would have been provided.
Bathroom light was poor but easily rectified by changing bulbs.
To be honest there wasn't much to not like.
- Wendy (9/5): Excellent bungalow in good location. Very enjoyable stay. - A spacious well equipped bungalow. Easy on street parking. 1 minute walk to nearest natural pool. Sheltered from northerly winds. Photos are accurate. There is a small supermarket in the village for fresh bread. Be aware that this is an optional naturist area. Not an issue but note only handwash is provided so you will need to bring other toiletries
- Siobhan (9/5): excellent, would stay again - location, views, as a rental location perhaps a basic starter kit of salt pepper, coffee, oil & vinegar (there was salt), so you don’t have to immediately go find coffee, especially as it’s not close to shops
- Lilian (9/5): Superb - It was very easy to find and as stated easy parking outside. A maintenance person lived next door so when we had an emergency with the shower which could have flooded the property, he came around immediately, switched off the water and replaced the shower with the one from his property, what service! Its a very nice property nicely positioned by the shore and a nice view from the patio. Apparently its in the small print somewhere that this is a naturalist village. It wasn't an issue for us but it could be more prominent in the description. BTW you don't have to remove your clothes to stay in the village.
