• SeamieFitz (9/5): Quirky beautiful apartment - Very quirky accommodation on the third floors with a balcony. Shower, sink and tv in the room. Close to the bus station and Mercado (markets). Bathrooms recently modernised. Mariana and Barbera were very friendly and helpful. They let me leave my luggage when I checked out, so I could explore the city. Loved it all

The toilet facilities are shared with other guests but it's small and quiet so this was never actually a problem, just something to be aware of.

WC ist geteilt, aber sehr sauber und außerdem gibt es nicht viele Gäste auf einmal, von daher überhaupt kein Problem. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und der Check-In lief absolut unkompliziert. • Michael (9/5): - No me suelo fijar mucho en la decoración de los alojamientos, ya que no es lo que más me motiva. Pero en este caso, me ha gustado mucho el toque artístico que había por las habitaciones y espacios comunes, sobre todo por los dibujos artísticos sobre las paredes. Ubicación central, con un mercado en frente y cerca de la catedral. La dueña simpática y con ganas de ayudar. Limpieza impecable. Las cámaras en los espacios comunes me dan un poco de yuyú.
• Berniana (10/5): - Hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der sehr zentral gelegenen Unterkunft. Ideal für Pilger/Alleinreisende. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das stilvoll eingerichtete Apartment und die herzliche Gastgeberin. Obwohl mitten in der lebendigen Stadt gelegen konnte man sich hier etwas in Ruhe zurückziehen. Immer wieder gerne :)

• Kim (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf op een top locatie! - Heerlijke bedden. Top locatie in het centrum en aan een vers markt, dus veel gezelligheid gelijk voor de deur. Vooraf goed contact met Maria en tijdens het verblijf was zij laagdrempelig benaderbaar. Prima faciliteiten in kamer en in pension (koffie/thee/gezamenlijk koelkastje). Erg schoon. Het enige wat ik miste was een ‘niet storen’-bordje voor aan de deur. Verder niks op aan te merken!

The cleanliness was exceptional and my room was very well kept and beautifully decorated. Bright room, comfortable beds. Private shower with shared toilet facilities which were extremely clean. Access to coffee machine. The location was right in town amongst lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed for four nights after walking a section of the Camino Norte. Great communication prior to arrival and a very warm welcome from the host. This is a fantastic pension, centrally located, spotlessly clean and with a really cool design that you maybe don't expect from the very modest exterior. Located right beside the market and in walking distance to all the major sites - would definitely return when back in Santander
• Steffen (10/5): - Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Dusche und Balkon. Eigentlich ein verglaster Wintergarten, aber mit genügend Platz für 2 Stühle mit einem sehr schönen Blick auf die Markthalle. Das Zimmer ist genau wie beschrieben, sehr sauber und gepflegt, bequeme Betten, Parkettboden, ausreichend Stauraum. Die Dusche im Zimmer ist charmant, braucht man aber nicht wirklich, Gemeinschaftsbad und Gemeinschaftstoiletten sind in einem Top Zustand und sehr sauber. Es gab nie Wartezeiten, kaum Begegnungen. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett und unkompliziert, sehr engagiert, hat Tipps und hilft wo sie kann. Kommunikation problemlos. Das Treppenhaus in den 3. Stock ist großzügig und kein Problem. Nebenan ist direkt eine Bäckerei, die Markthalle ist gegenüber, unbedingt die Fischabteilung im EG anschauen, großartig. Bei den Bussen ist man in 4 Minuten. Hafenpromenade, Restaurants nicht weit, auch beim Supermarkt ist man in wenigen Minuten. Wir kommen wieder
• Peter (9/5): Perfect location, lovely staff and good value - A really good find, right in the centre. 5 minute's walk form the bus station for the airport. Close to the shops and not far from the good eating/drinking spots. The staff were really helpful and considerate. The pension was way better than expected - would stay there again for sure. No lift - no problem for us but for anyone with mobility issues, there are a lot of stairs!
