Guest Reviews
- Cat (8/5): - everthing was great actually amazing hotel weak breakfast
- Amit (3/5): Avoid this property if going with family. - Only the location There is nothing to be liked here, its just a kind of hostel. We booked here for ultra cheap rates considering it a hotel but it can not be compared to a hotel, if it would have been mentioned as a hostel then would not have booked this. The mattress on the extra bed is so thin that you can feel the springs. Breakfast host was not happy to see us as we were a large group of 11 people and nothing was prepared as the breakfast starts after 8:00 am and there is nothing much apart from eggs or toast. Moreover breakfast is served at the 5th floor of another hotel with no lift so imagine taking steps for 5 floors and then you have only tea or coffee with just some eggs and toasts.
- Atanassov (7/5): - A nice apartment with a perfect location - just 10 minutes walk from the Sphynx entrance.
The beds are not comfortable though. When I arrived after 9 pm, there was nobody at the reception, and there is no one there at any time. I had informed the host about the time of my arrival, but this did not help me at all. I wrote the host in whatsap, no reply. Then I asked the kids who were playing in the yard, and they gave me another number of a boy, who came and helped me check in. This attitude of the host is really annoying.
- John (1/5): - Worse place ever they didn't even care to help me find and the photos don't tell the truth All of it the place is horrible DO NOT STAY HERE
- Naieem (4/5): - The bathroom is good and wide but the facilities are not The fridge is very noisy and the air conditioner is very weak also the floor have rust stains
- Magdy (10/5): .It really felt like they cared about making our stay perfect, and we truly appreciated it - We loved how friendly and helpful everyone at the hotel was. They arranged transportation for us, gave us tips on what to see, and even helped us book a guided tour. It really felt like they cared about making our stay perfect. Nothing
- Florencia (7/5): -
- Ekova (9/5): Superb - The hotel is very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I stayed for just two nights, but I really enjoyed my time there. A nice bonus was that many of the staff members speak Russian, which made communication much easier. Also, the rooftop with the viewing platform is located in a neighboring building — it’s not a problem at all, just something to keep in mind. The location is a bit hard to find. My taxi driver spent about half an hour driving in circles trying to get there.
- Sofiane (8/5): It was a good experience -
- Ana (8/5): A place to return in Giza - Like going back to family. We had a wonderful time there the first few days we spent in Giza, but coming back a week later after much traveling and much turmoil, we were received with such care and attention that we don't imagine spending time anywhere else when we come back. Ahmed from front desk is so sweet and attentive, and Ahmed from breakfast is very helpful and friendly. There are others staff members we don't know by name, but all of them and all the members of the family made our experience something we will always cherish. Inshalla, we will see them again soon. Beds could be just a bit more comfortable
- Rozanska (10/5): Really suprised how great stay we have experienced in Mosses Pyramids with fantastic location.. - Excellent Service by All staff, helpful, smiling, qenuine. Wonderful View from Terrace shared with next door building (No lift , need to note, but for us that was no probs at All, good little And needed excercice. )
Tasty breakfast And amazing views, shisha too.
For sure place to come back one Day. Maybe some little music on staircase And/Or tarrace, but again some people prefer peace.
- Anton (10/5): highly recommend this pyramid view rooms - Amazing views from the rooftop!
Nice staff, can pay with card, great beds, good Airco, very comfy rooms and tasty breakfast. Close to pyramids but not to close that the view gets Bad. Highly recommend this place! Wifi is terrible unfortunately..
- Gohil (9/5): PROPERTY HAVE MORE FACILITY THAN EXPECTED, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - NEWLY CONSTRUCTED PROPERTY, GOOD MANTAINANCE, NICE STAFF MEMEBERS
- Janine (1/5): Inconvenient! - I didn’t manage to stay at this property as when I arrived (after a long day of sightseeing) I was told there was no rooms available. I was alone with my 8 yr old son and had to find somewhere else to stay last minute!!
- Porquiado (9/5): Superb -
- Tara (10/5): Great stay right next to the pyramids - The property was a stone throw away from the pyramids.
You can see the pyramids from the roof top view point.
Amazing views while having breakfast. The breakfast was yum too
The staff were so nice, so helpful! 10/10 hospitality Nothing- property is exactly as described on booking.com and true to pictures given
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jolanta (10/5): Exceptional - A true WOW place, not to be missed! Clean and comfortable room, simple but yummy breakfast and the view on the pyramids to kill for. The host Moses and his friends are most helpful and respectful, always ready to chatt or organise anything you might want without being pushy ( something you will experience a lot in Egypt). Highly recommended place. We ll come back next year :)
- Abinash (10/5): Exceptional - As an Indian citizen, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay. The room, location, price, and especially the staff exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely polite and well-behaved, making my experience even more pleasant. I was amazed by the number of amenities provided at such an affordable price, including a room heater, tea sachets, and a water heater. Everything I needed was readily available. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. If I ever return to Egypt, I will definitely choose to stay here again.
- Sokratis (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was really great!!!
Thanks for everything!!!
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Jenish (7/5): Good - Value for the price. Good friendly staff. There is no elevator in the hotel.
- Asif (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Great - The comfort of the staff.
- Cox (8/5): Very good - Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious, location to pyramids was awesome, room was nice, price for what we got was amazing!
- Chang (10/5): Exceptional - good service and good view!
- Mustafa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Radek (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff, nice location next to the pyramids.
Nice breakfast and big comfortable room
- Abd (7/5): Good -
- Federica (10/5): Exceptional - The terrace, the breakfast = home made and amazing, cats everywhere, the tours they organize, great experience
- Chiara_nyc (9/5): Great stay in Cairo - the location is great!
communication with the stuff is easy and smooth.
Staff and especially Yasser were very nice and helpful all the time!
very good value for money
- Alessandro (10/5): Exceptional - staff, rooftop and breakfast were perfect
shukran
- Mohd (10/5): Exceptional - The best and good Clean and sgt peramah org2 kt situ
- Kyle (10/5): Salaam. - The staff were warm and sincere.
The breakfast was satisfactory.
The Inn was quiet and staff respectful. Leaving is always difficult.
- Remi (9/5): Superb -
- Cem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (10/5): Amazing staff and hotel - Helpful and welcoming hosts helped to organise trips to Alexandria and quad biking at very reasonable price, air con in room worked very well and beds were comfortable, good location next to many local shops and pyramids and plentiful Uber available for easy transport around city. The hotel offer a shuttle service from the airport that is very helpful and the view from the roof terrace is amazing, definitely would stay again. Possibly a divider between the toilet and shower to prevent water spraying but otherwise very nice room.
- Conny (10/5): LOVE IT - All members of the host's family were kind and friendly, uncomplicated and since it was very hot, we each received an ice cream as a welcome. They helped us with our luggage and the next day, even though breakfast time was over, they still offered us breakfast. Breakfast was in the building next door. It's a 6-story walk, but the view is fantastic. Very clean, very nice and the area have the original ancient charme. We are from the redsea, but we will book here again when we're in Cairo. The AC was a bit weak in one of our room, but it was very very hot outside and we understand the problems...
- Norbert (10/5): Perfect, 100% recommend - The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the Pyramids. The hotel terrace offers an incredible view of the Pyramids and the Sphinx (!!). The room is clean and well-equipped, with bottled water provided continuously. There is air conditioning, and the room was cooled upon arrival. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is not very large and lacks variety. (Given the price of the accommodation, it is fine, but if someone expects a European-style buffet breakfast, this is not the place.)
- Dániel (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast is great or at least has more variety than other comparable hotels nearby.
Perfect view on the Pyramids. The room booked was not the room received or photos do not match the rooms indicated in the reservation, bathroom was especially uncomfortable.
Neighbourhood can be scary for the first time, although it is normal Gizeh. Could be worse, believe me.
- Jerusha (8/5): Very good - breakfast was served in a plate (not buffet style) but it was okay. probably make the road/street to the hotel and around it to be cemented.
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kaya (5/5): Advantage and disadvantage - Pyramids are reaally in front of you , even photos of the hotel appear just like they are far away but there is only 450-550 meter distance. So hotel's view is correct , ve sure about it. Try to catch the Light Show on Pyramids between 7-9 PM. and of course sunshine in the early morning.
Because of this advantage we choose this hotel instead of others in Nasr , Heliopolis , Almaza ... by accepting to pay costs of Uber and InDrive driver app in order to reach the islamic cairo , museums ... İndrive and others take about 110- 170 Egyptian pound according to time becuse of traffic Despite room and ıts WC clean generally but Batroom ground and water channel part was not clean , also Batroom door doesnt close. Bed itself was not comfortable and and we dont like their breakfast staffs as they are not quality at all.
- Yousif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rajaram (7/5): Nice place and people but still some room for improvement. - Location was good. Yasser took good care of our full trip and arranged all in advance including pickup and drop in airport. Room was ok. But the water was very slow and little to take bath. AC was leaking water in our friend's room and they had to shift.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hüseyin (6/5): Pleasant - The view of de roof top where we had breakfast was nice.(next door building 5th floor,no elevator) Personel was friendly. There is no profesyonel reception and it was hard to find anybody to ask something.
Outside was a very noisy water pump wich was very anoying ,especially at night. The hotel is very hard to find, in a very small dirty street . No signs with the name of the hotel.
- Che (8/5): Very good -
- Kat (8/5): Very good -
- Atena (10/5): Spectacular rooftop views of the Pyramids from the hotel with the most wonderful & helpful staff! - The most beautiful view to have breakfast and great food!
- Vincenzo (9/5): Superb -
- Muzammil (10/5): Amazing place and breathtaking views. - The breakfast was amazing and the location was even better. The view whilst having breakfast was exceptional. However you have to take into account that some people may find it challenging to climb six floors of stairs. As it is an old area it would be hard for the owners but maybe they should try and make it more accessible for everyone and try to get some sort of a lift to be fitted. Also the location was very hard to find as it is not neccassrily the hotel's fault but the navigation was taking us on the main road, so maybe put a note/flyer to show the location.
- Haider (8/5): Overall ok experience - Location Slow / no internet
- Umarul (8/5): Good - Break fast was nice and delicious No lift in the property with baby upstairs claiming for breakfast little difficult
- Michael (10/5): Brilliant - Excellent location, Moses the owner very helpful.
Very clean and great view of pyramids.
- Md (4/5): SOME OF THE STAFF TREAT GUEST ACCORDING TO SKIN COLOR OR ETHNICITY!! - Everything was good except the treatment from some staff. We had breakfast included which was 8:00-10:00. We went there in the first morning around 8:45-9:00.
There were 4 spanish women having breakfast same time with us. They got their breakfast 10 minutes before us. They had falafel, Bean stew, egg, bread and butter-jams.
When our breakfast came, we got only one piece of falafel and egg with bread-jam per person. When we asked if there are something else, 2 person replied us that there are nithing else. We accepted it as everything else might have finished.
But then, another German lady guest cam for breakfast around 9:30, she got 4-5 pieces of Falafel, egg, bean stew with her bread and butters-jams. It was a shock for us. We felt so embarrassed that we did not go for breakfast for next days. Instead, we had it in outside restaurant. It is very shameful how they treat their guest according to ethnicity or color.
- Kirby (6/5): It is a very intense but authentic Egyptian experience. - The view from the rooftop is incredible, although it is in another building, and you could sit for hours and watch the pyramids and the sun setting. The staff here are also all lovely and treat you like a family member. The place was so difficult to find. Google map location and Booking.com location is further up a few roads than the actual location, and you are down some pretty nasty backstreets in Giza surrounded by destroyed buildings and trash, which was intense to arrive and walk to at almost midnight. The hotel itself was a little run down and whilst the floors were mopped and it smelt clean there was dirt and trash everywhere outside and my room shower, air conditioner and balcony door lock were all broken. There was a bunch of weird stains on the floors and walls and the hotel had shouting neighbours and barking dogs well into the night. I guess this is considered an Inn so it makes sense but it was a rather disappointing place to stay.
- Vivien (8/5): Its OK for the price, nice view, kind host. - The view from the terrace is amazing, the host Moses is really kind, helpfull and he is do his best, try to help with everything. The rooms was clean, and the stuff was kind too. The neighbourhood is not the best, but its definitely autentic. Lot of stairs to the terrace, but its totally worth it.
- Tamang (10/5): Very comfortable and clean room with nice owners and co staff -
- Dennis7917 (10/5): Best view of pyramids - Best view of the pyramids and the hospitality of the staffs.
- Gui (8/5): Very good value for money near the pyramids - Very good value for money. 3 min to the pyramids. Small simple breakfast with incredible pyramid view. Nice family own business. Helpful people. Bedroom was simple but clean. Hard to find
- Gabriella (9/5): Superb - The owner was a really nice man. He organized our trip eveywhere. He did everything what we asked for. It was very comfortable for us. No such.
- Marta (10/5): The view is beautiful. Staff is amazing, nice and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Worth to visit. - The view is beautiful. Staff is amazing, nice and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Worth to visit.
- Samira (10/5): Exceptional - The host was so nice and understanding. We were supposed to stay for 1 night but due to my son's condition we had to travel back to Hurghada, we stayed only for 2 hours. We told him that the driver can stay in one of the rooms (we booked two) and the other one we all will stay. He gave us one extra room for the driver to stay, free of cost.
The view on the roof (not the same building but just some steps away from a building that is their family hotel chain or something he mentioned) was amazing and so amazing. Instead of taking a rest we sat there and enjoyed the view. If you are coming to Cairo you have to stay here.
And one more thing, while sitting there we bought some crisps and cold drinks. I thought like other hotels the price will be quite high so I bought just about so we can share in the beginning with family BUT it was cheap! I was shocked that they didn't overprice it like the other hotel that I had in Egypt. I wish I could write something bad about the hotel but for that price and view, I don't have anything to say.
- Mustafa (7/5): Good -
- Piotr (9/5): Good value for the money, beautiful view from the terrace for the pyramids - very close to pyramids
lovely view from the terrace
quiet room, far from the street hard to find at first
- Stephen (7/5): Good value for money. - All staff were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The owner Moses was particularly helpful to take me to local European-style supermarket Carrefour; to give helpful advice about how to manage demanding locals since it was my first trip to Egypt; and to get me booked with an official tour guide for the pyramids, who was also very good.
The view of the pyramids at morning breakfast is great. It was very difficult to find. Fortunately my taxi driver kept asking locals until we found it.
I would have loved a bowl of cereals to be available on the breakfast menu.
- Asim (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - The best view in Giza!! Nice staff. Excelent location, a few meters from the Sphinx entry. Unfortunately the bathroom was not very clean, the rest of the room was ok. And it's kind of hard to get there, Google maps is showing one Street that actually doesn't exist.
- Daesoon (8/5): Good. - Rooftop view was so good. I could see the Pyramid like pictures on the rooftop.
Price was good, too. (This is not the hotel's fault.) Google map could not look for the way for the hotel. If you will go to this hotel, ask the way to the staff.
- Ebrahim (3/5): Don’t ho there - Nothing
The people are nice Smelly, not comfortable, no window
- Coates (10/5): Unparalleled View - The view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace is jaw-dropping. I had full view of the 3 pyramids from my bedroom window and waking up to this view is unparalleled.
The staff there are Excellent people. So friendly and helpful with a real family environment. They helped me out finding a new charger for my phone. I liked everything. Best price, best service.
- Matthew (7/5): Breakfast with the Sphinx. - Host was very helpful and kind. The breakfast on the terrace was awsome. For one night by myself, it was just more than fine for that price. My primary complaint was that the bathroom smelled like sewer gas. Keeping the door closed for sleeping was mandatory.
- Shoukat (9/5): Superb -
- Michèle (8/5): Very good -
- Eslam (9/5): Superb -
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monika (10/5): Real Egyptian hospitality - The best location if someone want to visit Pyramids of Giza, just few minutes away walking. Staff always available once you need them, day and night. Very helpful people, especially Mr Moses who take care of the business very well. Very good WiFi connection. Clean room. Amazing view from the terrace where breakfast is served. We felt welcomed a lot.
Warm greetings for Mr Moses and his crew and many thanks for taking care of us !
Monika and Mia from Poland
- Dimitri (10/5): Great hotel for price, nice and relaxing. Lovely locals and close to the pyramids. - Moses and his team were all very helpful and friendly. They made us feel like home. They can arrange some tours for you if needed as well. Rooms were nice and clean, and the rooftop with a beautiful view on Giza pyramids is amazing. The location is great, just 5min walk to the Giza pyramids. It's definitely good value for money.
- Patryk (7/5): Good - Great location in a local community, close to authentic groceries, food etc. Walking distance to the pyramids
View from the terrace is amazing indeed (separate building very close to the place)
Very friendly staff They arranged a driver for us twice and both times the drivers were late up to half an hour. We didn't have the contact to the driver nor a registration plate number which is a standard elsewhere in Egypt. The waiting there was quite disappointing and hasn't happened to us in any other place in Egypt, but both drivers were kind and nice during the trip.
Internet here sometimes does not work - wifi is connected but no internet. There is another black router that you can try to connect directly, it worked for us, but the host could not fix the other router
The room looks new and nice but a bit unfinished - a chair and a shelf in the bathroom would help a lot.
Access to the place is tricky - Haret al Moubarak street is not accessible, best it to reach it around turning right nearby El Gizawy restaurant and then again right in a narrow street in front of the pitch.
- Ilahi (10/5): Exceptional - People working in the hotel including the owner are amazing. The breakfast is excellent. Anyone in the hotel will go miles out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. We really enjoy chilling out on the roof in the marveolous view of the pyramid. We definetly are coming back to this superb place! It is kind of tricky to find the place at the first time. However once you know where it is, it’s easy to come back to it.
- Lisa (9/5): Good value for money and conveniently located. - The view is amazing and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. It was a bit noisy during the night.
- Ismail (10/5): Exceptional - Great View & staff #NA
- David (1/5): Be very careful. They put the price up on everything. - The view of the pyramids was great it’s just tainted with the piles of garbage everywhere and the constant grab for money from the people who work there. The internet was very poor and I had to ask repeatedly what’s going on to little response. I got ill and had to use a lot of toilet paper which they supplied none. The room I booked had a garden view the one I was given had no garden view yet I was demanded to pay for the one with a garden view. Saad and subsequent people involved cared solely about money and had no idea on business or how to treat customers
- David (1/5): I DO NOT RECOMMEND. - When I was leaving and even that was difficult. I pride myself with honest reviews so all I am saying is the truth They make everything so difficult and at the end just want cash. The food is pretty awful and the area is a construction site a lot of noise and dust and there is no help from Saad or the family. They offer an overpriced self-indulgent service.
I have 2 reviews and the other has pictures attached. Review before booking. Good luck
- Belal (9/5): Superb -
- Jong (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic rooftop view the rooftop is not on the same building
- Mustafa (6/5): Fair - Calm A.C
- Sjoerd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Good - Good location. Note the rooftop is in another building for breakfast There was no internet
- Yingying (10/5): Perfect stay - The location is so good, the room is so clean, the owner and the staff are so nice and the service is so good.
- Maminiaina (10/5): Perfect stay - Really nice people are working in the hotel.5mins to the pyramids.
Breakfast was good
We paid in EP the good price.
