The charm of the old stone walls, wooden beams, and rustic decor made it feel like stepping back in time. The hospitality was top-notch, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Granny Liza, the heart of the villa, served us incredible traditional food along with the village’s famous wine—which, without a doubt, is the best in Albania. Every sip was a reminder of the region’s rich winemaking tradition, and it made the experience even more special. Her son was equally amazing—he answered all our questions, helped us on our way there, and shared fascinating stories about the villa and the village’s history. Not too far from Villa Ndoj, there’s a great spot for fishing, making it perfect for anyone who enjoys a peaceful day by the water. On top of that, the entire area is surrounded by nature, full of fresh, clean oxygen that makes you feel instantly refreshed. The peaceful surroundings, the authenticity of the experience, and the unbeatable hospitality made it unforgettable. And for everything we got, the price was absolutely worth it. Traveling together from London and Germany, the three of us (brothers) were greeted with outstanding hospitality from the moment we arrived. The warmth and kindness of our host, Mother Liza, made us feel right at home. Mother Liza is truly a gem. Her genuine sense of humor kept us entertained throughout our visit, and her caring nature made us feel as though we were her own sons. Her infectious smile and cheerful demeanor added to the homely atmosphere, making every moment spent with her a joyous one. 😊 The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the traditional dinner she prepared, accompanied by the finest 100% organic wine we've ever tasted. Every meal was crafted with care, making each evening a delightful culinary experience. The villa itself was impeccably clean and provided all the comforts we needed, with strong and reliable free WiFi being an added bonus.
