- Chungmi (10/5): 서가, 공원, 강가 모두 가까운 예쁜 숙소 - 가고싶은 모든 곳이 가깝고 편리합니다. 도미토리 4인실인데 화장실, 샤워실이 방 안에 있고 세면대는 따로 있어서 전혀 불편함이 없었음. 2층 침대 올라가는게 사다리가 아니라 튼튼하고 넓은 서랍형 계단이라 안전하고 1층 침대에는 금고가 있어서 물건을 올려놓기도 편함. 큰 가방을 넣어둘 사물함도 있고 공간이 충분히 넓으며 데스크의 직원도 아주 친절함. 타월을 제공해주지 않아서 10¥을 주고 큰 수건, 작은 수건을 대여함. 1층 고양이도 귀엽고 모든 어메니티가 정성스럽게 준비되어 있음. 중국 숙소는 타월을 제공해주지 않는듯. 중국 화장실 휴지는 다 그런건지... 두루마리 휴지가 매우 작음.

- Timo (10/5): Absolute Empfehlung für einen tollen Aufenthalt! - Ein super Hostel, welches nicht nur sehr modern ist, sondern auch noch bequeme große Betten verfügt. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und bemühte sich sehr mit noch mittelmäßigen Englisch-Kenntnissen zu helfen. Doch mit Übersetzer-Apps stellt das ja heutzutage kein Problem mehr dar. Die Lage ist außerdem hervorragend. Mitten im Geschehen doch ab Mitternacht dann sehr ruhig. E-Roller kann im Hotel für 30 Yuan am Tag gemietet werden. Ein kostenloses Handtuch für die Gäste wäre toll, was meiner Erfahrung nach in anderen Hostels mittlerweile schon Standard ist. Sonst gar nichts!
- Sophia (10/5): - Ein tolles Hostel mitten im Geschehen nahe der Weststreet. Das Personal ist wirklich super toll und hilft einem bei allen Problemen und Fragen. Die vier Katzen des Hostels sind auch zuckersüß! Es wäre schön, wenn man die Toiletten absperren könnte und der Sichtschutz etwas höher wäre. Ansonsten war alles top !

The staff is fantastic, they speak e flush and help you with everything you need to visit. The only thing not much privacy in using the toilets. And sometimes the stores in the front street can wake you up.

It's in a beautiful location, with one if the best restaurants I've tried in China just 20 meters away.(Guiji Lijiang Fish Home Cooking Restaurant 桂记漓江鱼家常菜馆). The surprise was the three beautiful cats that are part of the hostel. The room was massive, very clean, comfortable and very affordable. The ladies at the reception were very nice and helpful. No negatives. Everything was great.

- Laura (10/5): - Muy céntrico, las chicas muy amables te ayudan en todo. El alojamiento no tiene recepción 24 horas pero ellas te informan de como entrar y salir fuera de su horario. El desayuno no es bufet, son tostadas con salchichas y huevo, café americano o te. Tienen lavadoras por 10 yuanes pero no secan, justo a 300 metros hay una lavandería por 25 yuanes el kg y tienen la ropa en 8 horas. No hacen la habitación cada día pero si necesitas toallas, o cualquier cosa te lo dejan. Tienen 3 gatitos muy monos en recepción. No hacen nada (me dan pánico los gatos y cuando me salió uno de la nada me asuste) por lo que hemos pagado hemos dormido muy agusto!

Tenía una reserva que cancelaron horas antes de llegar porque "no había confirmado por correo electrónico" y no me dieron ninguna alternativa. Luego me quedé una noche allí y la habitación compartida tiene un baño común con puertas de cristal. No hay recepción 24h. Las toallas hay que alquilarlas. No ofrecen muchas opciones de excursiones más allá de alquilar una moto.

Die Kaution bekommt man nach dem auschecken zurück auf sein Wallet bei Alipay oder WeChat. Ich bin anschließend nach Hong Kong geflogen. Hier funktioniert Alipay und WeChat nicht mit europäischer Kreditkarte. Somit habe ich das Geld verloren.

Läget är också sjukt bra, det ligger bredvid West Street som är den livligaste gatan i Yangshuo med mycket shopping och mat. Det var även lätt att ta sig från båtterminal genom gång. Personalen var jättetrevliga och hjälpte oss med mycket saker. Det var svårt att hitta ingången till hostelet. Vi behövde gå in till en butik och be butiksägaren att ringa hostelet då det var så svårt att förstå vart det låg.

- Asia (10/5): - Struttura con una buona posizione, vicinissima alla West Street Scenic Spot e dalla quale si raggiunge comodamente a piedi (in circa 30 minuti) il teatro all'aperto per lo spettacolo Impression Sanjie Liu. Le ragazze alla reception sono state estremamente cordiali e disponibili e alcune parlavano un ottimo inglese. La camera in cui ho dormito era pulita, moderna, spaziosa e luminosa, con letti comodi e servizi igienici in condizioni impeccabili. Per arrivare alla stazione dei treni è necessario prendere un taxi perché la struttura non è vicinissima.

It’s a little bit noisy , as it’s right next to a lively night market and the main street. So be sure to bring noise cancelling headphones, or use the ear plugs provided by the hostel.
- David (9/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Emoji Hostel. What made it amazing was the hospitality of the staff and their helpfulness in making sure I was taken care of during my stay. They helped with giving me recommendations on where to go, rented bikes for me and arranged transport to Yangshuo station on my last day. And I even got to make dumplings during the Winter Solstice festival. Staying here was a gateway into the beautiful city of Yangshuo and it has become one of my favourite parts of the world. The city filled my heart with joy and the karst mountain scenery was so captivating. Walking along the Li river at sunset on my first night, making dumplings to celebrate the Winter Solstice with Emily, Lin and Yi at the hostel, cycling the awe-inspiring 10 mile gallery and hiking up for sunrise to the TV tower were the moments I will always remember. When I visited China 15 years ago the Guilin area was on my list of places to visit but I couldn’t find time to fit it in during the 3 weeks. I’m glad because this time coming felt so right! And staying here will make your trip memorable!

Staff gentile, struttura nuova, molto pulito, camere belle, servizio bici/ebike disponibile, posizione ottima, bagno ben organizzato, ingresso accogliente. L’unica pecca sono i vetri dei bagni e wc, coperti solo per la parte centrale, basta essere alti più di uno 1.70m per vedere tranquillamente chi si sta facendo la doccia o è al wc.

- S_Kobe (10/5): 綺麗でロケーションが良いです。 - 改装したばかりで綺麗です。場所は西街の西の端です。私は兴坪から阳朔行きのバスに乗り、途中で降りて西街までバスを乗り継ぎました。バスを降りるとすぐにホステルが有りました。 帰りは阳朔バスステーションまでホステルの前からdidiで8元でした。そこから桂林行きのミニバスが出ています。 お部屋は個室で、アップグレイドしてもらって、モダンでゆったりしていました。トイレとシャワー室が独立していたのが良かったです。騒音はありませんでした。 スタッフもとても親切です。テレビが最新式で中国のアプリから利用するようになっていたので、スタッフが見ることが出来る様にセットしてくれました。 バイク(30元/日)、自転車(20元/日)の手配もしてくれます。 エレベーターはありませんでした。テレビが最新式で、中国のアプリから利用するようになっていたので不便でした。英語は通じません。
- Rossella (8/5): A nice place in Yangshuo! - The position is great and the room was also really nice and spacious. Love the cats wandering around in the ground floor! It’s not that I didn’t like but it’s more a heads up. Breakfast consists in a sandwich and a coffee - which is okay but if you have other expectations you should be aware of that! Plus they helped me to rent a bike but it was not a good one (especially for doing 60 km as I wanted to do) - I saw better bikes on other rentals place. So if you plan to do a bike ride ask to see the bike before your trip or choose a rental place by yourself!

Großes Zimmer mit großem Fenster, super eingerichtet und tip-top sauber. Freundliches, hilfbereites Personal, das Englisch sprach. Alles war perfekt. Ich musste nur bei der Ankunft ein "deposit" hinterlegen (das kannte ich von anderen Unterkünften nicht), aber das ist ja kein Makel.

- Laura (6/5): Pleasant - Bedroom and location (right on the busy area next to west street, which makes it convenient to find restaurants and shops but also very noisy at night, so not for light sleepers). Terrible advice and information received at reception and multiple misunderstandings due to language barrier (I almost missed my departure train because of this. I told reception I wanted to get there 1 hour before the train, but I ended up getting there as they were boarding it. I also had to renounce to some of my visit plans and wasted time of the trip on rectifying those "misunderstandings"). Also, they only accept cash for the deposit (100 yuan), not for the activities, so keep that in mind if you are having issues with Alipay or your credit card. They were the only accommodation in all the places I visited thst requested a deposit. They have cats, keep in mind if you have allergies.

There are also some lovely cats in the hostel and Emily upgrade our room for free! Try also the homemade toast that she makes, so good. 💜
- Tom (10/5): Best place in Yangshuo - Super clean, beautiful interior, perfect location, right in the city centre where you wanna be. And an amazing host! Had a perfect time here. Nothing.
- Faye (4/5): Disappointing - The location is right in the middle of the most busy street in Yang Shuo, i expected the noise to be bad but find it still bearable. I have to use the toilet to poop and of course I have to use toilet paper. There is a sign in the toilet stating in mandarin not to throw big amount of toilet paper into the toilet. Unfortunately, after using the toilet it clogged (TBH i didn’t really use alot) I informed the staff there and they told me I am not supposed to throw in ANY toilet paper into the toilet. I have to catch the train so i don’t have time to dispute with the staff. In the end they took away 50yuan from my 100yuan deposit. (Bear in mind after switching 5 different hostel/hotel in China they are the first to ask for any deposit) So, i wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are sure you wouldn’t use the toilet to poop, otherwise say bye bye to your deposit. Also to my SEA brothers and sisters, there are no bidets or any water source to clean yourself in the toilet as the shower, toilet and basin are all separated. Do with these information as you will ☹️
