Guest Reviews
- pascoe (7/5): - Close to all things i needed and had parking No netflix after 3 days and no response to fix, advertised had portacot none available ...no one attempted to get back to us when we texted to say netflix wasn't working, tried all things internet said to do to fix with no results
- PETER (5/5): Overall we had a very nice stay as the location was so good, the room ok and we could relax. - Location Great. Room clean, tidy and functional. Contacting hosts was good and quickly helped when a problem arose. Some renovations have taken place freshening up the place and a little modernizing of the kitchen and bathroom vanity area. But shower was woeful and actually the head broke off and almost hit my wife's head. Taps looked like out of the 1960s (as did the head). Not even a simple plastic rack to hold shampoo etc. Kitchen was ok but cooking utensils and pots, IH etc were greasy. No vacuum - not even a little hand one. Instead a 1950s style carpet sweeper that did nothing. No floor broom - just a little hand broom. Ironing board was embarrassing - so tiny and looked like it came from a $shop. On first use of the iron it squirted out sediment all over my shirt and continued to do so, so ironing was a careful act. Looked like it had never been cleaned. And our stay was for almost 2 weeks - a lot of money - and we were told that all amenities - toilet paper, tea, coffee, tissues, towels etc were not replenishable. There was no washer/dryer so we had to spend money at an onsite service. I noticed many/most apartments were being turned over every few days, so by us staying for such a longer time we certainly saved the company lots of cleaning/restocking money - and having been connected to the business years ago I know contract cleaning is not cheap. So I felt what was a nice enough fresh and friendly feeling apartment was let down by only what I can conceive as being really stingy. We decided earlier on to not let this dampen our stay so just got on with enjoying it.

- Patrick (1/5): Crap - Location Aircon didn't work on a 40° day. Rang someone and they seemed annoyed and couldn't be bothered doing anything about it. I left and went elsewhere...

- Margaret (8/5): Comfortable place in very good location - Great location Air conditioner a bit dated rather noisy
- jerry (10/5): Yay the bay - Great spot Nuffin

- Alice (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. The location wasn't too bad either. The pin box to lock the door was a good idea. There is no risk of losing a key. We didn't like the stairs as they were a bit steep. It was a bit inconvenient that the trams weren't running.
- Amber (9/5): Perfectly located and loved being able to cook my own breakfast - Amazing location and ability to self cater!
- Zane (8/5): -
- Frank (6/5): Next time I will make myself clear that we can’t have stairs - The location It wasn’t ground floor
- Lynn Gully (8/5): -
- Carol (8/5): -
- Jex,&Azz (7/5): - Room was clean and tidy Location sucked to be honest location was to dark and crowded in parking lot would pay more for something closer to the beach next time.
- Veronica (8/5): Central comfort - Ive stayed before .Its central and easy to walk to the main street ,if you are so inclined .
Quiet and comfortable .Some nice touches like a bottle of wine and some local cards for posting .Great to have accessible parking . .I had an issue with getting the stove top element to work ,despite googling the model .
You may need to provide instructions .Maybe the problem with operation was me .
The booking host site was glitches and difficult to operate ,as it was last time i stayed . It took me nearly an hour to upload my id and i am tech savvy .Then because I had another booking in the same block ,the system defaulted to the other property Id booked .If I was the owner id find another host booking site ( not Belle which is appalling ) .
- Julie (6/5): Satisfactory, but wouldn’t stay there again - Location Loud/old aircon unit, uncomfortable pillows, not enough milk for a 3 day stay
- Randi (10/5): Great location accommodation - Great location and perfect size accommodation. Stairs to 1st floor are steep.
- Kerrie (10/5): Great location comfortable and very quite - Comfortable and quite
- Joanne (6/5): - No view at all, felt like a prison, next to the aged hospital.
- Fitzgerald (10/5): -
- Barney (4/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): Moseley good - The cleanliness space and decor of the studio, sound efficient security system, central location and very good value for money. The absence of a strong light in the middle of the living room. The presence of two (2) bed light lamps;, a third lamp in the corner of the lounge room; and a fairly faint light above the TV did not sufficiently light the living area.
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - Clean property located 2 minutes from the town centre is located beside an age care facility but we didn’t here any noice never had a problem with parking as we had our own spot will definitely book again
- Ronald (8/5): Very good - Very slow internet speed
Poor cooking facilities
- Tone (10/5): Perfecto - Location Location Location! Loved the wine!
- Sharon (8/5): Fantastic location, met all our needs . - Location and space was perfect. So easy to walk to the beach and shops. Complimentary wine was a nice touch, and has basic kitchen needs also. The bed is very hard, an upgrade would be beneficial. Then we would definitely stay again .
- Cappe (8/5): Very good -
- Houchen (4/5): Fine but too loud - Clean, everything I needed..loved bottle of wine gift There's a plumbing problem
.....if someone uses the tap in another unit thundering pipe noises clunking happen. Could be any time in the night. Very loud
- Ashish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (8/5): Stay was fine as I had everything I needed, only issue was car parking inconvenience and noise throughout night from del - Location being so close to Glenelg main strip. Room closest to nursing home so a bit noisy unfortunately and my car got hemmed in a couple of times by their visitors or workers. One night I couldn’t get into my car park as a car was parked across it, so I had to park across the road.
- Tony (8/5): Really confortable stay and we were very pleased with the apartment. - The unit is in a brilliant location, walking distance to local amenities and public transport.
We had a brilliant stay and the price was sensational considering all of Adelaide was booked out for the weekend. Only minor complaint is that there was only one bowl so the shared breakfast and "Lady and the Tramp" style pasta eating were intimate.
- Denise (8/5): Very good -
- Jessica (7/5): Good - great location, close to everything. online check in was easy The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
- Therese (10/5): Fabulous and central had everything we could wish for -
- Delphine (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (5/5): Passable -
- Klaus (8/5): Very good - There was no breakfast Bathroom window couldn't close and there was no heating in the bathroom. With below 5 degree nights, it was very cold and uncomfortable out there
- Angela (9/5): Superb - Location, facilities Needed additional instructions for hair dryer and towels.
Mattress was uncomfortable….lumpy
- Andrew (6/5): Average accommodation with good access to Glenelg and the beach. - Great location and nice to have a parking spot Towels were not replaced and we were there for six days. Shampoo and conditioner satchets were tiny and not replaced either. The sofa bed was painful to sleep on and no bedding was provided.
- Gregory (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (3/5): Disappointed I think we are entitled to some compensation - Location was good You said it had a kitchen and washer it did not the hot plate supplied had loose wires at the back which had been reported nothing was done to make it safe, I called the booking. com officed 3 times spoke to different people all promise to phone back not on one did great service I don''t think. The only thing they did was change the AD to a communial washer. they had a great Bar B. Que until you opened the top to find the plates were missing so we could not even cook on that. If you nwould like photos I have plenty to show crap gear you have Regards Anthony.
- Ann (10/5): Perfect - The studio apartment was great. Perfect location. Beautiful place to be. The flat had everything you needed for a few days. It was very clean. A few wee special touches too. Toiletries, wine and a very greatful bag with tea coffee and milk. Thank you
- Fisher (9/5): Good central place to stay - It was a lovely to have a place to be able to unpack, relax, and do washing 😌 nice and central buses, trams , running constantly, and cheap to use. Fridge froze all our products and electric hob was really dirty and wires on show which in my eyes is a danger!!
- Julie (9/5): Excellent location, comfortable and clean. - Great value for money accommodation in Glenelg. Clean and has everything you need, great location. A little dated outside but not a concern at all. Would recommend
- Vanhassteren (6/5): Pleasant -
