• Arthur (5/5): - Great location Bedroom with two single beds was noisy at night - outdoor aircon/heating condensers located directly outside the bedrooms window very loud. Plus there’s a computer server room just in the corridor outside that single bedroom that runs all day - very loud. The double bedroom with the ensuite is very small with only one side table, no where to put your bags and hang cloths etc. The double bedroom to too small. Furniture throughout requires updating - it’s old and dated. More towels required if you have four adults staying.
• Maree (10/5): Can’t wait to return! - From the moment we walked into The Hive we were delighted! Everything surpassed our expectations. The place is spacious and VERY well appointed. THEN there were the extras - crumpets, butter, honey, milk, OJ, fruit - SO THOUGHTFUL. We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Brooke is an amazing host! Nothing
• Michelle (10/5): The most charming accomodation in a perfect location. We will be back! - The location was amazing! It was cosy on a freezing weekend. It has so much charm! In the room with two single beds there was a loud noise coming from under the building that ran through the night.

• Bernadette (7/5): Fabulous location and living area but lacked attention to other comforts. - The location was great for all the events we were attending. The living area was spacious, light and well furnished. The kitchen facilities were terrific with a coffee machine, dishwasher and large stove. Coffee, milk, fruit and some condiments were provided. Lovely large showers. We loved the living areas but the following problems did not make it value for money. However with these fixed the place could have been a 9/10. The place was very cold when we arrived on a very cold winter's afternoon and it took hours to warm up. The kitchen door could not be closed because there was no key if it shut. This could have been a fire safety hazard and also made it harder to heat the apartment. It also made it difficult for the person sleeping in the bedroom near the kitchen as we could not block off noise. The third bedroom was inadequate - cold and the bedside "tables" were old boxes. The second bathroom was freezing and there was no heating nor towel rails. There was no hanging for clothes in two of the bedrooms and no mirrors. As we were attending a wedding several of us needed to share the mirror in the freezing bathroom. There was inadequate towelling provided given the cost of the apartment (no facewashers or personal hand/hair towels). The towels and bathmats did not dry between uses because of the cold and lack of hanging rails. The shower door left puddles on the bathroom floor and there was no mop to clean up. There were only two keys provided which made it difficult for us to leave the apartment independently as there was no intercom or door bell to connect with anyone upstairs. We needed to carry a phone and ring to regain access.

• David (7/5): A nice place to stay when in Beechworth. It is within walking distance to everything in the town. - It was close to town, had a large communal room and was neat and clean. Communication was excellent and it suited our needs. Parking was not an issue and the kitchen was pretty much fitted out with everything we required. The owners supplied milk, yummy sourdough crumpets, honey and fruit. There were no bedside lamps in one of the bedrooms, we needed to request more toilet paper, there was no AC in the smaller room (very uncomfortable in this room), and the oven actually had fat on the aluminium foiled tray!!
• Glenn (9/5): Beechworth Class - Location, spaciousness and fitout are fantastic The only caveat is you must be comfortable negotiating a step set of beautiful wooden stairs to access your accommodation. The listing does highlight the stairs
