Guest Reviews
- Magalie (10/5): Our stay was too short - Well situated, very clean and even though it was a small apartment nothing was missing. It has everything Nothing
- Helena (10/5): Grazie mille for making this Roma weekend so nice and beautiful. - Location is perfect, by the metro station which is connected to City Center and Vatican City. Neighbourhood itself offers a nice walks and lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast is held in a Bar downstairs, offers a fresh croissants, coffee and juice. Hosts are super friendly and answering all our questions within a minutes (via phone). Apartment is cosy, supplied with everything you need with a super cute view in a building's inner courtyard, giving a very authentic Italian vibe :) Also, very quite place for night rest.
- Yana (9/5): Superb -
- Ales (9/5): Nice, clean, well equiped and right next to metro - Right next to metro station (15 min to Colosseo) very nice and clean and well equiped (hair dryer, washing machine, soap and shampoo, plenty of towels, coffee machine, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, even an ironing board...). Separate large bedroom and a sofa-bed for two in the living room. Great communication with the host and free breakfast in the local cafe next door included. Really nice stay!
- Hubert (10/5): Great location, comfortable beds, good breakfasts - Keys were available in the bar downstairs. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location close to A line metro station and regional train station with good connection to Fiumicino airport. Tasty breakfast served in the downstairs bar i.e. hot drink, fresh juice and croissant. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Our family (4 persons) was very happy with our stay.
- Indra (5/5): the apartment is on the top floor of an old building with an antique elevator for two people only. If you're claustr - the place is right next to the subway which is a great convenience. Here is the story of the story. The staff is very kind. It was clean overall the apartment is on the top floor of an old building with an antique elevator for two people only. If you're claustrophobic, it's not for you. As the last floor above, the slab gets very hot from the sun and it becomes hell in the apartment. There are two air conditioners that blow Tony against the beds and this is extremely bad and dangerous. We tried changing all the functions and nothing happened. If you open a window, the humidity kills you. We literally couldn't sleep for 4 days. Coffee machine works very hard almost impossible. The bathroom is made for children. The shower cabin is literally 80/80 cm and to enter it you have to turn sideways and be quite weak. There is no mobile dryer for clothes and if you use the washing machine then it is a problem for the clothes. There is no salt, sugar and such basic things, but there is a kitchen for cooking. When you wash a dish, the water drains to the stove and this is very dangerous. Overall extremely small apartment and very hot
- Jess (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zenaida (9/5): We are very pleased with Fausto,Loredana and Simone for their warm welcome and has showed good serv - The croissants and the freshly squeezed orange juice was really good to start the day The lift was a bit scary at first but eventually get used to it afterwards
- James (10/5): We had a lovely stay and would stay here again. - The flat was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The family that owns it was very polite, welcoming and warm to us. Loved the cafe downstairs and that the metro was right outside of the flat.
- Daniela (10/5): We loved our stay at Casa Miso - We highly recommend Casa Miso. Everything was perfect.
This penthouse apartment is beautiful and bright, well designed, modern, and equipped with everything we could possibly need (a TV set with Netflix in each room, great air conditioning, fully functional kitchenette with cooking appliances, glassware, tableware, silverware etc, as well as bath towel sets, shampoo & shower gel, etc etc) The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable queen bed, a vanity, and a walkable closet. The living room layout is highly functional with a bed sofa and a foldable table. We were three adults and felt very comfortable. The apartment is on the 6. floor (there is an an elevator) and views into the cute courtyard and terraces. It is nice and quiet at all times. Every night, we were happy to retreat at Casa Miso after a busy hot day exploring Rome.
We also appreciated the extra details and kindness of our hosts, such as the complimentary water bottles waiting for us upon arrival in the fridge, and the fact that they made it possible for us to check in hours earlier even though they had guests just checking out that morning. Every night, we made tea with the electric water kettle and complimentary tea bags.
We much enjoyed the included breakfast (cappuccino, croissant type of our choice and freshly squeezed orange juice) at underground caffè. Such a great way to start our day. They also have delicious pasta (compliments to Cristiano for the best homemade gnocchi), other lunch dishes, and sandwiches.
In terms of location, Casa Miso is super convenient. The Metro station Ponte Lungo of the A line is right at the building, and the regional train station Roma Tuscolana is about 7 minutes from Casa Miso. From there, Trenitalia has a direct connection to Fiumicino airport (takes 40 minutes, EUR 8 per person). Also, two grocery stores are a few minutes walking distance.
Overall, Simone and his dad, Fausto, as well as Loredana and Cristiano at underground caffè treated us like family. There was nothing we didn’t like
- Judith (9/5): The flat was what we needed for overnight stay - The owners father gave us the keys and was very helpful with the lift and our luggage and organising us a taxi for us leaving the next day for the airport. We really appreciated that.
Nice small shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included in the cost which was a hot drink and croissant in the cafe downstairs, however the cafe assistant said it was only coffee or juice allowed. I asked for tea instead of coffee as I don’t drink coffee but was told that wasn’t included in the breakfast. So I had juice and no hot drink for me which seemed strange as the cafe had lots of British signage and we love our tea.
- Claire (9/5): Metro downstairs. Supermarket nearby. Friendly host. Breakfast included. - The metro station is just downstairs. It's really convenient. The breakfast is simple but quite delicious and the cafe is just downstairs too. The host and the staff are all nice and friendly. None
- John (8/5): Very good -
