• Annick (8/5): Séjour plaisant dans cet appartement spacieux. - L’appartement est au RDC d’un petit immeuble dans une rue calme à 10 minutes à pieds du centre ville de Bruxelles et des transports en commun (Tram, Bus). Il est spacieux et très bien équipé. Quand nous sommes arrivés il faisait froid dans l’appartement (les fenêtres étaient entrouvertes) et nous avons eu du mal à régler le chauffage central. Les deux petites terrasses sont en fait des courettes intérieures qui font puits de lumière et elles mériteraient d’être mieux mises en valeur. Le quartier est proche du centre cependant l’environnement est un peu triste et en devenir…

• Siddhee (9/5): A cozy stay at the Cozy Flat - Comfortable flat, good size for 3 people. Instructions for use of sofa bed were clear, access codes for apartment provided in good time by host. Bathroom was modern with excellent rain shower. Ground floor flat so difficult to have blinds open due to privacy. But we were out exploring the city most of the day and this was no bother.

• JOSE LUIS (2/5): - La equipación de la cocina Cuando llegamos estaba a 16 grados, no nos pusieron la calefacción que hubiera sido un detalle sabiendo que íbamos con una niña pequeña y mira que le avisé. Luego nos dejó 3 capsulas de café para 4 días y dos personas.... hubiera sido un detalle dejar 8 capsulas que no va a ningún lado... Respecto a la ubicación, no nos dijo que desde Midi al hotel parece superpeligroso y un camino horrendo, siendo que desde Bruselas centraal el camino era muy diferente, mucho mejor. El sofá cama no se puede usar como cama. INCOMODISIMO. Imposible dormir y la cama aunque mejor, chirria cada vez que te das la vuelta. Sinceramente buscaría otro alojamiento en el propio centro de Bruselas. La ciudad fuera del centro es muy peligrosa. ah, y nos encontramos una telaraña gigante con su araña gigante en el salón y mira que también le dije que por favor lo limpiaran bien. El baño es más pequeño de lo que parece, la tv sólo funciona con tus códigos de netflix propios, no tiene toma, es un bajo que te ve todo el mundo, en la habitación no hay persiana... en fin. y menos mal que funcionó el código de apertura de las puertas porque tardó como una hora en contestarme cuando le pregunté por la calefacción y por la tv.

• von der Liebe (10/5): Excelente - El departamento esta nuevo, muy cómodo, excelente calefacción y espaciosa cocina-comedor. El baño es grande y el agua caliente sale abundante y a temperatura. La ubicación es en un barrio tranquilo, aunque alejado del centro. A distancia casi equidistante de las estaciones de tren Central y Sud. No lo recomiendo para turistas que no les guste movilizarse a pie.

• Tetiana (8/5): Overall, we were happy with our stay, and the little things that weren't perfect didn't spoil our experience. - It's a fairly comfortable apartment with a good atmosphere, and it has all the necessary kitchen appliances and utensils. It's a fairly quiet area and close to the center, and it's convenient that the doors lock without a key. Essential groceries, oil, salt, cereals, tea, and coffee were available. The beds and pillows were comfortable and cozy. The water in the shower sink didn't drain well, the blinds in the kitchen were too short, so I had to cover the bottom of the window with cushions from the sofa.
• Elly (9/5): We hebben genoten. - Aangenaam verblijf op goede locatie vlakbij het centrum in rustige straat. De binnenstad is goed te voet te doen vanuit de locatie. Een bakker is om de hoek. De host is goed te bereiken en reageert heel adequaat. Niets viel tegen. We hadden de eerste dag niet in de gaten dat er rolluiken zijn aan de straatkant, misschien kan dat ergens vermeld worden.

• Beatrice (8/5): Ottima posizione - Posizione ottima, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. L’appartamento é nuovo, dotato di tutti i comfort. Assistenza eccellente, rispondono a qualsiasi domanda. Hanno un deposito bagaglio, non custodito, disponibile solo dopo un certo orario il giorno del check-in. Il lavandino del bagno era otturato e c’era puzza di fogna. Il secondo letto non era preparato il giorno del check-in, ma c’erano lenzuola e cuscino già pronti nell’armadio.

El acceso es con clave tanto del portal como del piso, la cama es amplia y la cocina es con el comedor, bien equipado y con baño bastante amplio y nuevo. Está a 15 minutos andando de la estación central. A 2 minutos del mural de Astérix y a otros 2 del zinneke pis. El acceso al portal tiene un par de escaleras que puede resultar algo incómodo con una silla de niño como íbamos nosotros. En el edificio hubo varios dias con música hasta altas horas , parecía q había alguna fiesta...

However, on the second night, around 5:00 AM, I was woken up by someone slamming and banging hard on my apartment door for over 30 minutes. I was traveling alone and felt extremely unsafe. I locked myself in the bedroom and called the police. The person didn’t say anything like “open the door” or try to explain themselves; they just kept violently banging on the door and even tried to open it by turning the handle. From my perspective, it felt like a potential break-in attempt. Later in the morning, the host’s husband told me that the person was another guest from Apartment 3 who was reportedly drunk. What added to my discomfort was that the host’s husband initially told me-after reviewing the CCTV-that he had seen the guest from Apartment 3 banging on my apartment door, and that the police had come twice. He even offered to show me the video. I declined at the time because I was too shaken. However, later the same day, he changed his explanation and said the guest had only kicked the building’s common entrance door, not my apartment door. This inconsistency left me confused and concerned about whether the seriousness of the situation was being minimized. When I tried to explain how frightened I had been, the host’s husband said: “You are from the US. It happened in the US, but not in Belgium here.” That comment felt dismissive of my fear and not helpful, especially given how stressful the situation had been. Again, the apartment itself was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the host sending help later that morning. However, I hope this review encourages better support, clearer communication, and more awareness about how terrifying such incidents can feel; especially for solo travelers. I’m sharing this review not out of malice, but to help future guests-particularly those traveling alone-feel more informed and protect

• Anton (1/5): A terrible smell of dampness and a garbage dump under the door - I was deceived by the rating above 9 points. 1. The apartment has a terrible musty, damp smell. Even clothes get soaked with this smell overnight. 2. Right next to the apartment door there is a huge trash bin where the residents of the entire building take out their trash. They also dump some other bags of trash there. I understand that the apartment is on the first floor in the farthest corner of the building, but it is unacceptable to dump trash next to living quarters. 3. Disregard for the needs of guests. I am a person with a disability (pulmonary disease). A few days before moving in, I asked to thoroughly clean the dust in the room, especially in "atypical" places. Usually these are radiators, baseboards, picture frames, window frames, etc. The owner probably ignored my request. On the top shelves of the closet there was a thick layer of dust, as if it had not been cleaned for many months. There was also a lot of dust on the radiators, heated towel rail and window frame between one of the bedrooms and the hallway. As a result, out of seven days of living in the apartment, my health could not be called satisfactory for six days. I was forced to constantly take expensive medications to smooth out the symptoms. The deterioration of my health made unpleasant and significant adjustments to my and my wife's vacation program and our plans. Due to poor health, we were unable to visit a number of places where tickets had already been purchased. Our psycho-emotional state was extremely unsatisfactory, and we were unable to get the pleasure from our vacation that we had counted on. 4. I found hair and dirt on the rim of the toilet. 5. In the second bedroom, one of the walls is deformed with traces of water stains and corrosion, which they tried to paint over with paint. 6. Airplanes flying near the house on their way to the airport. It is quite noisy.

• Lacramioara (10/5): Exceptional - A luxury apartment, freshly refurbished and well equipped (microwave oven, dishwasher machine, good quality plates, glasses, cups, etc.) 2 bedrooms and a living, ok for two couples. Modern bathroom, rain shower, 2 sinks. Location is 15 min walk from metro station. The negative: nesspreso capsules are very few, only 6 provided for 4 persons and 3 nights, and because no housekeeping was performed during the stay we had to buy ourselves. No big deal. The same for sugar. Communication with the owner was a little hard, we had to contact him the evening before check-in to get the code for accessing the apartment.

The blinds were pretty broken so you couldn’t lower or raise them. The TV only had Netflix, no channels and the screen sharing option didn’t work. The dishwasher had a horrible smell. There was a bath mat in the bathroom that when we moved it, it had some slimy wet liquid underneath.
