Anna (5/5): Will not choose this Hotel again. - The location is convenient. Down the road from The Bendigo Art Gallery which is currently closed. The Rifle Hotel, excellent food. Cafes, down the road as well. Very dated. The shower was awful. Shower head broken. Tried to screw it tight to stop it tilting. Not successful. Water poured out from top and from shower head. Needed to hold the shower head in place in order to shower but water temperature went from boiling hot to cold in seconds, so extremely difficult. Not a nice way yo start the day. Tried yo inform staff at reception but that was unattended!! Will never stay here again.

Cheap budget option - as long as you have that expectation you will be okay with the mismatched beds, old tiles & fit out, slightly stained towels and pillow cases etc. seemed clean-ish, just very old.

No shower curtain, the shower water goes everywhere. Step out of the shower onto a soaking wet bathmat. Proximity of neighbours when they’re smoking was not nice, you can’t get any fresh air in your room because the smoke comes in too.

Shower worked well and water output was very good. The room was quite stuffy due to the hot weather and we were unable to let fresh air in during the night. Shower and toilet items (i.e toilet paper and shower supplies) were of a low standard.
