Guest Reviews
- Daniela (10/5): Wish we were planning to stay longer! - Staff were extremely helpful and kind.
- alan (8/5): conflicted; I like the staff and location alot , room was small but worked, damn the experience fee - reception desk always staffed with highly qualified personnel normally multilingual. True find !
Location unbeatable downtown...
Room was clean and housekeeping staff most flexible
I would have to do even more research when/if I return NYC for hotel booking and area of city complete facts of booking, the "experience fee, tho noted but not specified really angered me. It's a game put on by owners that's simply dishonest and abusive, bait and switch? Build this cost offset into nightly rate. That fee actually ended up costing another nights expense, essentially.
No "real" F&B facilties per se, an independent asian restaurant open only at dinner? Yet there are lots of choices in the neighborhood, but that means leaving building when you might not be able to or even not want to...

- Justin (5/5): Probably was great, is no longer. - Jr. Suite is large for Manhattan. Bed and linens are excellent. Restaurant was good! This probably was a 4 star hotel, but it is not anymore. Our room is in rough shape, there’s a total lack of care evident. We were greeted by a dirty elevator, dust and fibers stuck to the ceiling. The hallway to our floor featured a flickering light bulb and an exit sign half detached hanging from the ceiling. The room is big! But quickly it falls apart - dirty corners, worn and scuffed doors and woodwork, frayed towels in the bathroom. A booger on the curtain. Our room was serviced during the day as you’d expect - only one fresh towel (for 2 guests), no refill of the coffee pods (so we woke up with no coffee), basically they just made the bed. Stains on the couch. Spa is under renovation and not available for use. You can tell by the design that once upon a time, probably early 2010s, this was a hot hotel. But if you give up, don’t maintain it, don’t pay attention to the details (the difference between a 3 star and a 4 star), it means there will be better options available. At over 500 a night outside of peak season, this hotel is not your best choice.

- Staci (10/5): Will stay at this hotel again! - Size of rooms was much bigger than other hotels we’ve stayed at. Proximity to restaurants and bars. Staff was very friendly. Nothing. It was great.
- Pia (9/5): - Fantastisk rom. Godt renhold. Kule lokaler.

- Turi (7/5): Ok - Very good location, clean and big room. Good housekeeping. Style over function. Cracked sink, no hooks or hangers, couldn’t get the tv to work, sauna didn’t work, staff didn’t help with bags.
- Shai (10/5): -
In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man alles was man braucht. Also Fenster schließen :D

- Michael (10/5): Clean and comfortable base to explore New York City - Great location with subway directly opposite. Clean and comfortable bed. Good sized room and bathroom. Great shower. Helpful and friendly staff. Near some good restaurants. N/A

- Lizann (10/5): This is our 2nd Spring Break we have stayed here and we love the neighborhood and the hotel! - Love the shower and the views! Regular Coffee in the rooms instead of tiny espresso cups.
- Kurt (8/5): Pleasant hotel with great views and friendly staff - Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view! We were on the 17th floor and asked for our kids room to be near us (they are 18) and they were put on the 3rd floor. The housekeeper who was cleaning our floor was constantly opening and slamming her closet supply door across the hall from us which was very jarring and made it hard to relax.
- Gina (9/5): Comfy bedding, great location and value for NYC. - Hotel staff super friendly and accommodating! Great location in the LES, Some of the finishes / furnishings are showing age and wear and tear.

- Caoimhe (6/5): Fine place to stay to see the city if you don’t intend to stay in the hotel much - Bed was comfortable and clean, shower was great. Compulsory charge for amenities that weren’t available (pool closed, sauna under renovation). Rooms and hotel is dated compared to photos shown online. Security deposit was charged at check in with no explanation, we had to ask what the excess amount was and it wasn’t written down on any charge sheets.

- Simon (8/5): - Excellent hotel for exploring areas of New York you might not have thought about. Nightclubs 😳 noise
