• Shalane (9/5): Comfortable and neat! - We had a wonderful stay at Chez Roya in Belgium! The space was impeccably neat, and we could immediately tell that a lot of care went into the décor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with charming touches that made it feel like home. The hostess was absolutely lovely – friendly and attentive. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was also perfect – quiet yet central, with easy access to local attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Chez Roya to anyone looking for a cozy, well-kept spot in Belgium.
• Abdulla (1/5): Be honest and trustworthy - nothing … The property owners are not transparent and honest. They wrote that the apartment is air-conditioned, but in fact it contains air-pumps that operate with water. When I discussed it with them, they said that in Belgium, all apartments do not have air conditioning, even though I was coming from Bruges and the apartment was air-conditioned. I left at the same time and booked another apartment in Brussels, which also had air conditioning, as we know it. The money was not refunded because it was deducted in advance upon booking. The stairs are very tiring and almost vertical, and the apartment is located on the top floor, making it difficult to go up and down with luggage, especially since our bags are heavy. The dining table is located under the sloping ceiling, and the wall touches my head, as well as the room table and the lounge chair. The bathroom has a bad smell. The security system in the apartment is non-existent. The door lock is normal, and the apartment key is very traditional. You can look inside the apartment when you remove the key. The parking spaces are located on the side of the road, and they are mostly for residents of the houses in the area. In short, I consider this fraud and it contradicts the information written about the apartment and the photos. It was a bad experience, and I ask Booking to impose restrictions on such properties and request detailed reports.

• Naomi (9/5): Modern, stylish and ultra clean place - and clearly much effort has been made to make it genuinely nice and comfortable. - Super clean, nicely decorated and thoughtful touches throughout. Very comfortable bed. Quality furnishings and a nice bathroom. Modern and stylish. Great host. Parking around the corner was not an issue. I always found a spot. This unit does not have normal windows you can see out of as it is an attic so you can only see the sky. For me this was a little claustrophobic. Walls are sloped so you have to move the dining table to be able to sit at it. The stairs are steep and narrow- a little hard to manage with a larger suitcase but not too bad. The little kitchenette is great and had everything I needed except a toaster, which would be a nice addition.
• Nicolette (10/5): Lovely small apartment - Roya has a lovely apartment in the upstairs of her home. It has a completely private entrance (the stairs might be a bit much for some, but it was fine for us.) The bed was very comfortable. It was very nice to have a comfortable, separate living room/kitchen so that I could sleep-in; my husband is an early riser. The apartment was well stocked with coffee, tea, creamer, chocolate, biscuits, and beer and water in the refrigerator. There were spices, oil, etc. if someone wanted to cook. Roya brought breakfast to our room. It was good and plentiful; fresh fruit and nuts, excellent rolls and bread, pastry, lunch meats and sliced cheese. as well as cream cheese for the nut bread. We didn't spend time in the village, because we were there to visit a friend in a nearby village. I think having a car would be helpful, but there are several restaurants in walking distance. Roya and her husband couldn't have been nicer, more welcoming, or more helpful, They are lovely people! everything was great
• Graudma (10/5): Great apartment at a good price, in a calm environment. - Really excellent accommodation (a complete apartment) for the price. Very well furnished, clean and stylish. The host is very kind and helpful. I didn't have breakfast so cannot evaluate. My only suggestion would be to put at least a small sign on the door saying that "Chez Roya" is here because when I arrived, it seemed like a usual private home to me, and I was not sure I was in the right place. But I could call by phone, and the host opened immediately.

The pillows were nice but it would be nice to have the choice between hard and soft pillows. This is more just a cherry on top :-)

• Torsten (8/5): Stay was fine for me, i will come back. - Breakfast was individual, in exchange with owner. Nice arranged and time flexibel. For my use ideal, because near to customer of work. Even the flat was under the roof, it was not loud or to warm, air conditioning was available. Starecase could be a little bit wider, regarding baggage transport.
