• Francisco (10/5): Comfortable room in the heart of Shkoder. Great host! - This is the best option to stay at Shkoder in a low budget. The price-quality ratio is unbeatable. The room is located at the heart of the city, next to the most interesting district and to the bus station. The host, Jozef was super kind and gave me a lot of valuable information. It’s super comfortable and clean. Absolutely recommend!

• Joachim (10/5): Luxus-Unterkunft - Das ist eine absolute Luxux-Unterkunft, die sich über 2 Stockwerke hinzieht. Unten Küche und Speisezimmer. Oben Schlafzimmer und Bad ( mit Bidet) Die ganze Wohnung ist top eingerichtet und alles funktioniert prima. Doppelbett wie neu. Obwohl nach meiner Vermutung viele christliche Gegenstände in der Unterkunft vorhanden sind, gibt es im Schlafzimmer sogar Rotlicht. Das Hostel liegt zentral in einer Seitenstraße und es ist ruhig dort ohne Partylärm. Eine ideale Unterkunft. Obwohl bei einigen Gästen und auch in der Selbstbeschreibung des Inhabers von einer fast fürsorglichen Gästebetreuung die Rede ist ( Unterstützung bei Ausflügen, Fahrrad (e-bike) Verleih und Hilfen jeder Art) habe ich davon rein gar nichts gemerkt. Es gab mit dem Inhaber überhaupt keinen persönlichen Kontakt. Alles lief über e- Mail. Auf meine Fragen nach Ausflügen und Tipps für Aktivitäten habe ich von der Mutter des Inhabers nur abwimmelnde Antworten bekommen. Fazit: Top Unterkunft aber miserable Betreuung.

• Ronda (9/5): Superb - Gasper was hospitable, informative and kind. He helped advise me on various transportation to get to Valbone, return from Theth and to the Tirana airport. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. The guesthouse shares a court with his family home and is very comfortable. It is in a great location to walk the pedestrian streets, but be away from the fray. He gives guests purified cold water to drink which is very welcome. H e also stored my luggage while hiking

• Beanie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment with great amenities and location. But the host really made it amazing. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and also gave us the use of two bikes to explore. We were leaving super early the next day and breakfast was made for us the night before and delivered round so we still got food. An incredible place and amazing hosts.

• Michael (9/5): Wonderful 3 Days! - The location and size of the flat are remarkable - smallish kitchen but so many choices for dining in Shkoder, you won’t need it. The parking spot is a challenge for anything but smaller cars, but that’s part of the fun of Albania. And the host was there every day with a smile. Maybe a little change-up in the breakfast. Croissants and warm milk (delicious!!) got boring after three days.
