• Cynthia (9/5): A 5 star gem - Absolutely beautiful property. The room , the pool and the outdoor kitchen. The dogs and the family. It rains a lot in la fortuna.
• Ian (8/5): - Large clean room with good, hot shower. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Secure location with parking behind electric gates. The swimming pool is large and very clean. It wasn't close to any restaurants so we had to drive. There was confusion regarding the price (the site listed the cost for one person instead of the usual two) so was more expensive than expected - but, to be fair anywhere near La Fortuna is way overpriced.

• Ilya (6/5): Pleasant - Very nice grounds Walls are paper thin, first night the family next door woke me up at 6 am and they weren't particularly loud. Next day, the neighboring property decided to mow grass a 6 am.
• Marek (9/5): Superb - Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.
• Dowd (8/5): Juan Carlos is wonderful and we will stay here again! - Breakfast was not available after all, which was frustrating since we planned on that. We used our dedicated outdoor kitchen however and it was well stocked for us to cook quick breakfasts. It had everything we needed! We were confused by the photos so we thought there was a separate room for our friend traveling with us. There was not so we were all in one room (3 adults and two kids) which was not ideal. It felt cramped.
• Haihua (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel has a huge yard with all different kind of tropical trees and flowers. The owner is super nice and friendly. He picked up fruits and let us try. The pool has a decent size which my son can practice to keep his shape as a competitive swimmer. In the morning it is full of beautiful birds singing. This hotel was our first stay at Costa Rica and we will come back again in our next vacation at CR.
• Katie (8/5): a great stay! - the pool was really nice and we felt safe. the family who owns it is incredibly friendly! the location is about 15 minutes from la Fortuna.
• Nathaniel (7/5): Good price, basic accomodations, and a bit out of the way - The breakfasts were excellent! The pool and grounds were very nice. The rooms/cabins were clean and new, with nice tile floors. The cellular reception was quite good in the cabins. Plan on cold showers. The units had an electric shower head (yes, it's a bit scary to see 120 Vac wired into a shower head). One did not work at all and the other only worked about half the time. There was free WiFi, but it only extended to a bench halfway to the cabins, so we spent some time sitting on the bench downloading shows. The location is a bit far (15-20 minutes) from La Fortuna and further from a lot of the attractions, so plan on driving 20-40 minutes each way for most activities.
