Guest Reviews
- Corey (10/5): - LOCATION / VIEW! Nothing that the view did not make up for!
- bryan (8/5): -
- Nadine (10/5): Perfekt! - Die Lage war top und das Personal hat uns extra spät noch freundlich in Empfang genommen.
- Carlos (7/5): - Ubicacion execelente. Colchones y ducha.
- Andreea (10/5): totally recomand - everything was perfect
location is amazing nothing

- Mark (10/5): -
- Siobhan (10/5): We loved the area . Lots of restaurants right on our doorstep - It was very well located Nothing
- Thomas (8/5): Average stay for the price we paid - Nice location but lots of noice till early morning hours from the surrounding area.
Apartment has no closet to hung clothes.
- Penny (10/5): Wonderful stay! I would definitely reach out for my next trip. Thank you so much!! - If I needed anything the host was available, he even picked me up & took me to the airport. The location was amazing!! The only negative was the scaffolding which obstructed the incredible view. The host did however let me know about that ahead of time.
- Ivaylo (8/5): Very good - The property has a very good location with lots of restaurants and shops, the bed was comfortable and the espresso machine was perfect There were ongoing renovations on the building facade and you couldn’t see anything from the windows. It was a bit cold even with the ac turned and the apartment definitely needs some renovation For the price charged
- Lori (9/5): Great place to stay. We loved the location and the amenities were great. - The location The scaffolding in front of it. But she let us know ahead of time
- Nadia (10/5): Exceptional - very good location, clean, comfortable bed n/a
- Art (8/5): The apartment is a good way to visit crowded Rome if you're unwilling to pay very high hotel rates. - The location is great - right on the Pantheon piazza in the center of the Old City. The apartment is old but has many modern conveniences including a great shower, an espresso machine and a milk frother, The host, Fillippo, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, including helping lift luggage up a short step of stairs, arranging for our taxi to the airport and making amends for the scaffolding outside our window that the Church, which owns the property, has authorized as part of the Rome effort to get ready for a Rome jubilee celebration in 2025. The apartment is funky as befits being in an building that is centuries old but as a result it compares unfavorably to modern hotels. Yet it is also expensive when viewed in a global context, but relatively moderate given the extraordinary price of housing in Rome. The scaffolding outside our window, which was part of the effort to get ready for a Rome jubilee celebration in 2025 meant that many fountains and other facilities throughout Rome are under repair and not available for full view. Rome was also incredibly crowded in early October which detracted from our stay.
- Scott (8/5): Spacious and excellent location - Location and size Not the owners fault but our view was blocked by scaffolding and advertising
- Marwan (10/5): Wonderful experience! - The location is fantastic, right in the heart of one of the most incredible areas, with everything within walking distance. The noises from the Pantheon cafe downstairs at night are too loud. I have to shut all the windows to reduce the music and noise, especially during the weekend!
- Eliska (9/5): Location, Location, location!! Extremely historic building! - Location Location Location just across from the Pantheon , in the square. Very comfortable beds- beautiful very old apartment. Wonderful bathrooms. Great linens. Adorable kitchen with full Pantheon view. Nice view from living room window. Fans I’m both rooms. Lovely place. Square SOoooo convenient for restaurants and taxis. Gelateria across was wonderful! Little too hot in late July but not their fault. They had portable air conditioning, very well installed but just a little inconvenient and living room was little too hot to enjoy. Steps out to elevator that were hard on our 85 yr old; elevator little touchy to work.
- Anthony (9/5): Amazing location in the heart of Rome, great hosts. - Superb location with plenty of room for what we needed. it got incredibly hot & no inbuilt aircon, had a portable one that required the window to be open which led onto a very busy piazza
- Ian (8/5): We loved our stay in Old Rome - The owner met us at the door and showed us around the apartment. The apartment is in an excellent location. We could look down and join in on all the activities of the Pantheon. It was a good size for 2 people with good cooking facilities in a tight space. Plenty of storage. Being on the first floor we could walk up the stairs or catch the very small lift. The lighting needs to be improved by at least replacing the very poor existing light fittings. The apartment need to be cleared out. There was a lot of stuff which gave the feel that you were staying some else's house. The location made the apartment noisy but we were able to close the excellent windows. Maybe not so in summer.
- Alexander (9/5): An amazing choice for a four day stay in Rome, would definitely book again! - Amazing location facing one of the most interesting surviving monuments of Ancient Rome. Easy to walk to everything. Host was super responsive and the apartment is lovely & very clean! As others have said, it can be a little noisy sometimes although for the most part it is just a background burble. What do you expect, it’s in the heart of the city. Most noise is gone by 11pm after the restaurants close up. The windows are relatively well soundproofed but one has to stay partly open in the bedroom for the AC. Anyway, noise level did not prevent any of us from sleeping.
- Jon (8/5): Very good - The location was terrific. You couldn't really ask for a more central spot in the city, everything was within walking distance to any site. Additionally, the assistance provided by the owners were outstanding. The restroom was not as expected, the shower was slightly difficult due to the hot water running out quickly.
- Fred (6/5): Pleasant -
- Aneta (10/5): Pantheon "of all gods' view from your windows! - Location, Location, Location, you are right in the center of Rome with in walking distance to all major attractions and if you don't want to walk the taxi is next to Pantheon. Fillipo was very responsive to our needs and great to comunicate with, easy cheak in and out.It was unusual hot weather when we stay in Rome and he provider us with extra portable air condicioning unit that we greatly apriciated. With great Location comes a lot of noise,so bring ear plugs for sleeping because Rome never sleeps
- Jennifer (7/5): Great, but noisy location. - Easy instructions We did not find the plates and kitchen supplies until the last day because they were in a living room cupboard. It was also very noisy until about 2 am.
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect!!! - Excellent communication with the host! Unbeatable location. Tons of room and super comfy.
- Julie (7/5): Good - Location, location, location. It was quite noisy as we had a 2nd floor unit.
- Aliaksei (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Selcuk (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Silvia (7/5): tiny old but cosy place in a great location - the host was friendly and very nice, provided all the needed information in time. location is top, well at the heart of old Rome walking distance for a lot of hot places. it’s an old building and a first floor, so impossible to isolate all the noise from the outside. shower is very tiny and the sofa bed not really comfortable. but for a short stay without kids it was nice and enough.
- Anita (9/5): great location, would definitely stay again. - thé location was fabulous. It also had beautiful soft bed linen which was very nice It was a bit dimly lit but otherwise nothing.
- Nancylocious (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (10/5): Best Location - Location is the best, walking distance to everything even with a 4 & 5 year old Nothing
- Onur (8/5): Very good -
- Gian (9/5): Superb -
- תומר (10/5): Amazing place! - WOW. The apartment is so beautiful and clean!
The view is amazing and the host was so nice to us.
The location is just perfect and allows you to go anywhere by foot.
Just wonderful!
- Saphire (10/5): Just wonderful, would stay again! - The location of the place is just fantastic! We explored almost the entire city by foot from the apartment. The self check in was very easy, the host was available and helpful, and the place was warm even when it was very cold outside. Highly recommended!
- Ryhor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Codyweger (9/5): Superb - Amazing location, very easy to find, amazing apartment. Host was very friendly, and helpful! If this place is within your budget you won't regret. The kitchen and living room windows look out onto the Pantheon & square! Cannot beat that. Full service kitchen! Just lacking some cooking utensils is all :) VERY minor con
- Mi (10/5): Exceptional - Nothing can beat the location that you live just by the Pantheon and room with the view of the Pantheon. Host is welcoming, informative and also helped arranging rides for us. Thank you, Michela!
