• Jane (9/5): Needs a little bit of attention, but honestly it was a great apartment and we would stay there again - The lovely big deck was a favourite spot to hang out and watch the birds and wallabies and enjoy the view. The kitchen was huge and the apartment very spacious! The buggy supplied with the apartment was so handy and very much appreciated. It really could have been cleaner. I know it's tricky having to maintain a property between guests, but the floor was quite dirty and there were areas that really needed attention. You would have to wash your feet before you could get into bed. I went out and bought some cleaning items and cleaned things so we felt comfortable there (no, I'm not OCD). I think regularly scheduled deep-cleans would elevate this property. The beds in the 2nd bedroom need replacing.
• Pengchong (8/5): it’s good value to have this property on the island. - Large space, kids friendly, good sea views Overall the stay was acceptable, but cleanliness could be improved. Some facilities were still functional but inconvenient to use. For example, the stove required matches to light, the shelf in the bathroom would fall off easily and couldn’t hold anything, and the sofa looked quite dirty. It would be great if more attention could be given to maintenance and cleanliness.
• Jasmin (7/5): Even with some areas needing updating, we enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again - The valet service arriving and departing was a lifesaver, the golf buggy inclusion was also great. A porta cot, high chair and little toddler trike bike were also available for us which was fantastic. The views were incredible! The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. The beds were comfortable and all staff we ran into on the ground were lovely. The huge balcony was also great! The grounds did need work and a few things could really benefit from some updating, an example being the ‘grassed area’ at the rear of the property was weeds and the communal pool area was lacking. Our balcony was the only one without a safety gate to the stairs which would have been really helpful with the ages of the children travelling with us.
• Vanessa (8/5): Spacious apartment in a convenient location, with lovely views - We loved the spaciousness of the unit and the huge balcony with lovely views. Kids enjoyed the pool. The golf buggy was handy. Washing powder and dish washer tablets as well as shampoo conditioner and soap were provided which was great but no starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar which I felt was disappointing. Very well stocked kitchen drawers and cupboards for self catering. A bit tired and lacking in maintenance, eg no towel rail or hooks in the en suite and the head rests in the spa bath were not attached.
• Barry (5/5): Needs TLC - The location was good, and a large balcony overlooking the coast was excellent. Huge lack of maintenance, Walls were marked, needs a repaint. A broken soap holder in the shower left a sharp jagged edge - so dangerous! Why wasn't this fixed?

• Polly (9/5): We had a great time in that apartment. Really family friendly. Great views and heaps of fun having - Great location. Clean and tidy. Bigger than expected! Great! Dishwasher didn't work properly, but it wasn't a massive problem.

• Lyndell (8/5): Perfect family accommodation with lots of space - Position, view. Apartment size. Balcony, furniture. Kitchen utensils and equipment old and a bit run down. Towels are to small and not enough considering daily swimming etc. tv in lounge room needs to be upgraded to a smart tv. That was a major downside at night relaxing could not watch movies with the family on streaming services. This is a must these days!

• Mcd (8/5): Overall very good, Spoilt slightly by minimal service supplies. - Property itself was excellent with great view. Only 1 door key on arrival - had to wait until next day for 2nd. No starter pack of milk, etc. Only 1 bathroom toiletries for 2 people for 3 nights stay.

Apartment and balcony was spacious, nice gardens surrounding, wifi was good, use of Buggy was excellent. great location close to shops and resort. Needs a really good scrub! Needs a refresh and a good clean out. The electronics are dated, the television aerial dropped out so we had no television for majority of our stay. A wireless speaker would have been nice as we couldn’t even play music through the television. There was no way to lock the entry door except from the outside. No toilet or bathroom doorknobs, just holes where they should be! When you enter the unit, the smell is of cooking grease is strong, splashbacks were spattered with oil. Lovely comfortable lounge but smelled strongly of sweat. Plenty of pots, pans plates and bowls plus a lot of unnecessary clutter that filled all the cupboards. So many glasses but so few coffee cups. It was like the kitchen had been filled with op-shop buys. Would have been nice to have a starter of tea/coffee and milk, salt, pepper and cooking oil.
• Kevin (8/5): Very good - The ambience in the apartment when arriving was lovely with music playing. The apartment was spacious and clean. Great balcony with a lovely view of the sunset and the buggy that was provided looked pretty new. The location of the department was good. We didn't use the jacuzzi as the tiles lifted round the edge when filled with water and the swimming pool did not look clean.
• Lindsay (6/5): our stay was comfortable and relaxing. - Location was good , only a few minutes by buggy to get to the Marina / shops/ restaurants etc. Excellent views . The 2 bedroom apartment was a very comfortable size with ample kitchen space. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. Easy to relax here. Shower head constantly dripped water . When turning on the toaster or iron it shorted the power to the apartment. some of the fittings need to be updated . broken handle on laundry door - front door scraped the floor when opening / closing door

• Harriet (8/5): would stay again, great for families - the views were lovely, the back balcony is huge! it’s bigger than we expected and the buggy was a blast to scoot around the Island on. the kitchen was a good size. the beds were comfortable as were the pillows. the location was walking distance to one tree hill which was easy and lovely. there were some issues with the apartment above having water damage issues that impacted our stay minimally but all the same, impacted. the manhole to check water leaks in the spare room fell out in the middle of the night and would have landed on our kids head had he been in the bed which wasn’t very safe. the island bus is convenient (we had to catch a bit with family of 5 as buggy caters only to 4) but at night it is PITCH BLACK coming down the hill so be careful and make a plan if you are doing that. the kitchen is fairly well equipped but no sugar, tea or coffee, oil, salt or pepper so be prepared that there is nothing there if you plan on eating at home. only having one set of keys was tricky as we split up to do different activities and it was hard to coordinate.

The kitchen could have been a little better equiped with cooking utensils eg wooden spoons, sharp knives, bread knife and BBQ tools - we did appreciate the coffee machine and sandwich toaster.
• Pascale (9/5): A very relaxing stay. - The view was fantastic. The property was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and crockery. A buggy was included. The pool does not get a lot of sun.

• Wilhelmina (9/5): Words cannot describe how beautiful and amazing Hamilton Island is. A must do 'bucket' list item. - The location was just amazing and the sunsets were just spellbinding. It was only a short distance to travel by Club Car to the facilities to get groceries, grab a cup of coffee and do a little bit of shopping. Travelling around the island in a Club Car was just so special. There was not much that was disliked about the stay at Blue Water View. Walking around was a bit of a challenge but having the Club Car made up for that as driving around and seeing the beauty of the island made up for it.

• Kia (7/5): 5 night family stay - good facility but in need of some maintenance. - Kitchen size Inc fridge, stove, oven & BBQ. Washing machine & dryer. Air con in each room. 2 bathrooms & toilets. 6 chairs at table inside & comfortable lounge. Multiple TV'S. Main bed was comfy and multiple pillows to choose from. Having a pool close by. Clothing rack was great. The pick up and drop off at the airport was so handy with all our luggage. Loved the dimmable lights in the living area. So handy! The spa out the back was dangerous with multiple lifting tiles, especially after we filled it - I panicked and got the kids out ASAP as it felt like the spa was sinking. There are also bogged up bits of rusty spa exposed too.. Stains on the double bed in the kids bedroom when we arrived - bed has also sunk in the middle. Only 4 chairs out the back. No house keeping for 5 nights wasn't great. We needed fresh towels with 3 kids and multiple beach trips even with bringing 2 towels each. We also needed a top up of shampoo etc. The buggy only fits 4 people and this isn't disclosed when booking that you can't fit 5 people. We also indicated needing a car seat for our 3 year old which was an option upon booking & when we arrived we had no car seat. After multiple attempts to make contact, we were told we needed to go to the buggy hire place to get one ourselves (and pay for ourselves). The vacuum was terrible. Shower leaked in the ensuite and the ensuite toilet also flushes itself about every 20 minutes so kept me awake a lot of the night. The people above us were very noisy - and the add makes it look like the pool is right at your back door and that the view of the water is huge. I think the trees have grown since the photos because we couldn't see a lot from our balcony - that was really disappointing. The pool is also old and does need some maintenance by the looks. There were lots of tiny ants in the kitchen but it did come equipped with fly spray. Would have been nice to have basic things like oil, salt, pepper etc.

When I used the stove top element fat was dripping down into the stove top

We were greeted at the airport by our valet and transported to the apartment Great golf buggy included well appointed kitchen Fab onsite pool Awesome location close to marina and resort facilities The only thing that could be improved with the apartment is only 2 towels were provided for bath towels and 2 beach towels - when 4 people were booked to stay for a week. Luckily I’d packed our beach towels. There definitely should be more. Towel rail in bathroom not there

• Steve (8/5): Very good - Location, layout Not very clean, bed was very poor, check out process was poor, other people staying at same property got to keep their cart untill check in at airport and had their luggage delivered to airport, we got ditched down the road with all our luggage to wait for hours and find our own way to airport Im not happy about this.
• Helen (7/5): staff were friendly & answered to our messages - location, view, size of apartment… pool & buggy including transfers comfort of lounge was not comfortable & also the bed in the master bedroom. shower had no door or curtain… had to be repaired … they gave us extra floor towels to compensate the situation
