Guest Reviews
- Jessica (5/5): Fine for my one night, but I have stayed in better equiped apartments for the same price - The bed was comfortable and free parking The balcony door lock didn’t work which was a security risk. The milk in the fridge had already been opened, I only noticed in the morning when I wanted a coffee so couldn’t use it. The shower was a bit dirty looking due to grout stain and the wooden base.
There is no wifi
- Gwenda (9/5): Lovely location. Quaint. Would Stay Again. Very few minor issues. - Location excellent. Very clean except for mould in Bath/Shower. Free parking at the back. Easy to find from instructions. Plus access to unit. The air conditioning. Didn’t appear to have hot air. Definitely the cool air came out as husband first put on incorrectly. But once changed air came out but didn’t feel very warm. Mould in shower. Easy to fix just get mould remover in to re grout. Husband did complain his pillow was too soft.
- Gianna (8/5): - Great location, comfortable stay. Bathroom bit grimey. Grout needs cleaning. Also food was left in fridge which was quite strong smelling.
- Noor Ul Hasnain Bokhari (5/5): Great location , needs a few things to be actually a good stay. - The place was spacious and comfortable No checkin information provided , had to wait around 20 mins for the owner to pickup his phone.
A number of issues , one no internet in this day and age is diabolical , second false advertising on there being a usable bathtub , the glass stove was broken which is hazard. And for some reason no hair dryer was provided.
Better off with an actual hotel.
- Debra (10/5): - Perfect location! Super clean, comfortable & had a lovely warm vibe! It had everything I needed. I will definitely be back! Thank you! 😊
- Catherine (9/5): I would strongly recommend the place. Good value great location and beautiful place - The location was wonderful. My son lives on Gipps street so couldn’t be a better location for me It was bright, clean and easy to find however I am in my 70s and my room was on the second floor which made it difficult to carry a suitcase!
- Meikle (10/5): - Easy and convenient Parking is quite tight would suggest small car
- Charlize (7/5): The location was perfect, so close to everything. It was spacious and cozy for two people. Free parking at the back of t - The location was perfect, so close to everything. It was spacious and cozy for two people. Free parking at the back of the apartment. I have a sedan and that fitted fine. The dishwasher leaks a bit and so does the heater/ aircon and there’s no wifi.

- Tori (10/5): Short stay, great location, easy directions - Walking distance to our activities N/A
- Kathryn (10/5): - Bed was super comfy! Easy access to trams ! Bathtub stability - it slid out of place but apart from that Great
- Henry Goines (10/5): -
- Alison (5/5): Even for $125 a night i expect a clean bathroom - Excellent location - i needed somewhere close enough to walk to the CBD. Filthy bath/shower.
- Sasha (3/5): - The location was nice, it's accessible to transport, cafes and the Fitzroy gardens We won't be using booking.com ever again. We never received the check in instructions which led to us being stuck outside the door for forty plus minutes calling the owner with no response, booking.com obviously doesn't want it's customer service number to be found as I had to search on other sites just to get it. I had to talk to an AI before I was finally allowed to speak to someone. It was 5 pm when we were told if the owner doesn't respond to an email in 45 minutes, we'll get a refund, which didn't ease any anxiety of having nowhere to go that night. Finally the owner picked up and let us in, it seemed he was in the middle of something so I said I'd call to let booking.com know we got it, after calling again the AI wouldn't let me talk to a real person and kept saying if we were inside the property there was no further issues. Wouldn't you guess we got the refund 45 minutes later. We immediately contacted the owner to ask how he would like us to proceed in paying again and we were met with a blunt nature and more statements on vacating; there was no customer service or empathy for our situation that was entirely caused by the lack of information that was meant to be given to us by them and booking.com. Not to mention the property manager was suddenly incredibly available once money was an issue, responding immediately. They ended up getting more money out of us as we had to pay through bank transfer as booking.com locked the dates, which was anxiety inducing and a leap of trust we only took because we had nowhere else to go. The property manager couldn't even inform whoever was taking care of the property of our situation so we had someone knock on the door the next day to let us know we shouldn't be there. I had to show him "proof".
- Debbie (8/5): Quiet, spacious and convenient. - It's a very quiet location but close to the MCG and a couple of little cafes and restaurants. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It has everything in it that you need for a comfortable stay. I guess the bathroom could be tidied up a bit but still perfectly OK.
- Wesley (9/5): -
- Craig (8/5): - Position to both mcg and the city Stairs
- Suzy (10/5): I would definitely look to book here again. - Its proximity to the MCG. It was so easy to get to and easy to access the CBD. It was in a beautiful area. It was comfortable, perfect for 2 people.
- Amanda (4/5): Needs maintenance work and cleaning properly. - Convenient location in a beautiful neighbourhood Bathroom was disgusting. Giant hole in the roof patched with cardboard and gaffers tape. Mould in the shower grouting, dark splotches of something across the walls next to the toilet.
In the living room there was only one chair for the table, the other was broken and stuffed in the wardrobe.
- Brittany (4/5): Unsafe electrical leak! Terrible customer service - Location was great On our second night the bathroom ceiling started leaking water (enough of a leak to fill an entire large mixing bowl - the water was warm and smelt awful!) The leak was dripping through a down light in the bathroom and because of this we had to turn all the power off for the rest of our stay. I am 7 months pregnant and couldn't even use the toilet without water dripping on to me!
I contacted the owners to report the safety concern and ask for compensation (as we were withour power and had groceries in the fridge that were now spoilt) and I never received a reply or an apology.
Wouldn't recommend staying here, it's unsanitary and unsafe!

- Philipp (7/5): Good basic accommodation that is very well located. - The property is well located, easy to access, and there are good public transport links nearby. The hosts were responsive to queries and made it all pretty easy. The property is very sparsely furnished and some basic things, for example coat hangers, plug for the bathroom sink, hand towel and bath mat (only two towels were supplied, one with a rip) were not available. The kitchen is well equipped for a short stay. There is no wifi and it would be good to warn about the stairs. The. property is very close to nearby hospitals so if people are seeking to stay there while a family member is in hospital, or while they are receiving out patient care, it would be great to let them know about the stairs. Some explicit directions about accessing the car park would also be useful. It is not possible to park a large vehicle in the car park. The bathroom has a mould problem that needs a serious clean with bleach.

- Debra (10/5): Great Room - Nice clean & convenient location for what we were doing Nothing
- Markus (7/5): Decent flat in central and quiet neighborhood - Great location, we could explore most of Melbourne's highlights by foot. Despite the central location, the neighborhood is quiet. Of the road parking was also highly appreciated. The apartment was very dusty and is in need of a deep clean. Although the apartment offers a lot of facilities, they did not really seem thought through to us (e.g., two tea sets but no Wi-Fi).
- Micaela (10/5): -
- Poppy (10/5): Easy, clean, convenient - Cleanliness, access to transport and surrounding restaurants and cafes
- Rottem (8/5): -
- Mahir (10/5): - Loved it - will definitely use again
- Kylie (10/5): Just perfect. - The location was perfect for events at the MCG or Melbourne Park, and a shot tram ride from the city. Nice and quiet.
- Amanda (10/5): - The location was great. The room was quiet and had all the amenities that we needed. The parking was a little confusing. It was a tight car park and another car was in our spot. If you have a big car this would be an issue. However, we called the owner and he was very helpful.
- Jaimee (9/5): - Amazing location - came for footy at the MCG and was super close and easy to get to
- Gavan (10/5): -
- Harris (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Great - Very close to the MCG and where I was studying No hair dryer
- Bonita (10/5): Easy, location clean and welcoming - Easy location, clean and welcoming Nothing
- Ferdi (1/5): we didnt stay because there were no stairs and they refused to shift us downstairs and they refused - We booked on the information provided on their website and booking.com. We realised after reading the reviews that there were no lifts. My wife is unable to climb stairs. We requested a cancellation immediately but they refused. Very uncaring response forcing us to find alternative accommodation.
- Jasmine (10/5): Very good, will be returning - Location
- David (3/5): Nice place, but host caused us grief. - - Toilet blocked - took the owner/agent >24 hours to unblock.
- Was accused, with no evidence, of having extra people staying in the apartment, and received a number of rude text messages.
- The host entered the property without calling first.
The place is nice, and really close to the city and the MCG, but the host was not ideal.
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tp99 (10/5): Lovely!! - Super close to everywhere we needed to go.
Space was clean and comfortable and easy to access. The bed was comfy and a great size apartment. The owner was excellent at communication and gave clear instructions. We loved our stay. Not expected but Tea coffe and milk was also provided. Thank you <3
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Will definitely consider again when coming to mcg or Melbourne Park Not really a dislike but there were no tissues, had to blow my nose on the toilet paper 😂
- Bec (8/5): Very good -
- Zaireen (8/5): Very good - Had to climb up to the third floor with luggage.
Stove wasn’t working. Had to get takeout and couldn’t do the breakfast on the balcony that we had planned since we were going to cook breakfast.
I did call and let them know but no attempt was made to check it and fix it.
- Adam (8/5): Well worth the money - Spacious, quiet and great value for money. NA
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Manatsu (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Very clean.
- Craig (9/5): Comfortable apartment close to the city and Melbourne Park - Comfortable apartment close to the city and Melbourne Park. Loved it! Shower over the bath is very awkward.
Beware that there are 3 flights of stairs with no wheelchair access.
It would be great to have a tumble dryer.
- Evelina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Rica (10/5): Exceptional - The property was brilliant, check-in was easy, and the hosts went above and beyond to facilitate some extra requests I had. Can't wait to come back next time.
- Adam (8/5): Very good - Pretty spot with balcony and garden. Easy to get to and had parking Did not have hair drier
- David (9/5): In Melbourne for events and this apartment was great for our needs. Great central location in a well set up apartment. W - Really comfortable and clean with modern facilities. Good space and really good appliances. Owner even left some chocolates! The parking space is very muddy which transfers to the apartment adding extra time for cleaning. The parking space needs to be graded and covered with stones or gravel.
- Brendan (7/5): Good -
- Daryl (9/5): Superb -
- Emsywooo (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous art deco studio apartment
