• Aminadav (9/5): - Beautiful house, clean , have two spaces for parking, a nice hot tub, great kitchen, new and luxurious. Location bit outside of Monteverde but a short drive from there.
• Janine (9/5): Tolles kleines Haus mit Whirlpool - Whirlpool, Spielsachen für Kinder, top ausgestattete Küche, gute Lage für Unternehmungen in der Gegend Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Warmwasser dies konnte aber schnell behoben werden. Die Einfahrt ist etwas riskant in der Kurve.

The view of the farm, especially the happiest cow we have ever seen, frolicking in the paddock. Clari was so nice and was ready to help whenever we needed. Close to town. • Carol (9/5): - Está bastante céntrico, muy cómodo y la instalación super linda, el jacuzzi fue una experiencia bastante placentera, la zona me pareció bastante segura aún considerando que el portón no cierra todo el frente de la propiedad y cualquiera podría entrar, pero hay cámaras también que dan tranquilidad en la estadía, las camas súper cómodas y los baños muy lindos, había de todo para usar la cocina. La entrada es un poco complicada si vienes desde el centro de Monteverde porque hay que abrirse en curva, y tener precaución y rezar que no venga un carro, además unos animales me ensuciaron (literal lo cag*ron todo el carro), la dueña dijo que eran pizotes probablemente, es como vivir la experiencia wildlife pero de modo no tan agradable.

• Wendy (9/5): This is a spacious home that had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. - The property was very well equipped and the location was within close proximity to all the places we visited during our 3 night stay. The hot tub heated up quickly and was wonderful to use after full days of adventure. As mentioned in other reviews- yes this home is on a busy street right between two sharp turns. There is a lot of traffic noise, particularly during the morning and evening commutes. Yes there was a musty smell in some areas at times. None of these things prevented us from enjoying our stay. There is enough room that once we arrived, we were able to turn the car (small SUV) around and after our first arrival, we simply backed in when we arrived each time. It wasn’t as bad as some reviews make it sound.
• Hindusha (10/5): Modern, clean, spacious, and fully equipped - We loved the modern, clean feel of the space. The jacuzzi was amazing, and the place had everything we needed. It was also very spacious and comfortable.
• Jill (1/5): Bad location, but nice home. Host easy to communicate with. - The home was nice with comfortable beds. Clari was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The hot tub is nice. The location is terrible. The noise from the road is loud all day and most of the night. We got very little sleep and left after the first night, having to pay for a different hotel for the remaining two nights of our stay in Monteverde. The driveway was also extremely difficult to navigate. It’s a blind driveway on a busy road.
• Peter (8/5): - Very well fitted out and really enjoyed the jacuzzi It works great for 4, but not ideal for 5 people, with the sofa bed not ideal as a bed. Road noise was a bit of a surprise, especially early in the morning and a mild irritation was the neighbours sprinkler landing on the roof! Ideal for a small car, getting our suv of the road quickly was a bit ofa scary moment too.
• Cindy (10/5): it was a fantastic stay with incredible, attentive hosts. the place is more beautiful than in pix! - The house was way more luxurious than we expected- with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, extra blankets and pillows and even robes with spa-like shampoo and conditioners. the beds were the most comfortable we had during our trip. it was super cozy and a great place to come home to every day. the hot tub was such a treat after a cold day. it reached 38 degrees which was the perfect temperature. they even had toys for the kids to play with. our host was extra attentive and came over (even when we assisted it wasn't necessary) to tend to our needs or requests. they took our safety very seriously and fixed a lock ASAP when we noticed it was not working properly. they were also great in recommending restaurants and stores and even helped facilitate and a pizza delivery! the house is right on the bend of a curved street which makes visibility getting in and out of the driveway poor. it was fine as long as you managed expectation.

• Juan Luis (7/5): Buen alojamiento para pasar unos días en familia en Monteverde - Alojamiento bien equipado, especialmente en la cocina. 2 habitaciones con 2 baños independientes con camas muy amplias. Dispone de un jacuzzy a cubierto que permite tomarte un rato relajado. Amabilidad del propietario desde antes incluso de la llegada. Sin estar en el centro, está bien ubicado para acceder a las principales atracciones de la zona Como indicaban algunos comentarios, la ubicación en plena curva de la carretera hacen algo complicada la entrada y salida al alojamiento. Aunque está en la carretera y se oye algo de ruido, no es molesto y no impide descansar.
• Dolev (8/5): A modern, comfortable home in a great location — perfect for exploring Monteverde, but the damp smell was a downside. - The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and proximity to Monteverde’s main attractions. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The hot water in the showers was sometimes inconsistent, especially when multiple people were using it around the same time. There was also a strong smell of dampness and mold in some areas, which was uncomfortable.

• Scarlett (8/5): Enjoyable stay, would have been ideal if hot tub had been working. - We’ll set up property about an 8 minute taxi from town or a 25 minute walk. The decor of the house was very nice and a nice bakery next door. The hot tub wasn’t working and although it said it should take 45 minutes to warm up, after 3 hours we gave up waiting for it to get warm. Not the end of the world but a shame not to be able to use it. A book with information on how to use the house, hot tub, washing machine, gates, etc would help to reduce the need to message the host.
• Sarah (10/5): Great hosts provide a clean, comfortable, home for family stays in the middle of Monteverde! - The property is beautiful, comfortable, extraordinarily clean, and well-stocked with everything a traveling family needs. We especially appreciated the lovely hot tub and deck area and the availability of a washer/dryer unit. The keypad on the door malfunctioned during our stay, but the hosts were extremely attentive and addressed the issue within five minutes. Our only regret was that we didn’t book additional nights at this lovely property. The property has private, gated parking— a fantastic asset!— but the driveway is located on a sharp curve in the road. We found it better to back in to make getting back out onto the road easier.

• Nevine (7/5): Great location in Monteverde, stylish house with hot tub - Location is great, large kitchen, hot tub. The owner is super friendly and helped us check in on our first night. She also offered to have her house help do our laundry, which was so nice of her. As it is fenced, you don’t get much of the view or sights of Monteverde as long as you are in the apartment. Would be good if the hot tub had a cover. The second day we wanted to go in it was already quite dirty.

Lovely well thought out property. - This property felt like a home away from home, the beds and bedding were SO comfortable and the bathrooms lovely, so much space and really clean. It is well equipped and a big fridge. We loved the inside of this home. A lovely, clean well thought out home to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. It is on a main road which can be noisy, it didn't bother us too much but the driveway can be tricky to navigate in and out on the main road. It also lacks a view and with so much beautiful scenery around it was a shame not to be able to enjoy it from our accomodation.

There's gated parking and we felt safe. Clari is great and was very helpful. She gave us suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Monte Verde. Finding Gamai House was a little tricky but Clari was readily available to help.

• Sarah (10/5): Lovely home with modern amenities! - This property had all modern amenities, was clean and inviting. The hot tub was a nice additional treat. It was great to have a washer and dryer...a dryer, yay! The hostess was very accommodating. Very quick to respond and super friendly. We did not have a car, so, it was a little isolated. We needed to rely on taxis to get to and from destinations. Our hostess connected us with a very reliable fellow who felt like our personal chauffeur for the few days we were there. I only mention it, as, I feel this place is better suited to guests with their own transportation dur to its location.
• David (10/5): Gorgeous Home! You’ll be glad you stayed here! - First, the house is as good as it looks. Modern architecture styles, very new, comfy and awesome kitchen. Second, the kitchen is fully stocked to make meals. Third, the owner was very good at communicating. They were very understanding when we had some last minute changes. Magical nights in the (very clean) Jacuzzi. Loved the breakfast place a 1 minute walk away. Nothing negative about this house, but everywhere in Monteverde has noisy motorcycles so bring earplugs for night.

• Tessie (8/5): Good centric option in Monteverde - Clari, the owner was really nice. Came in to check on us as we had some inconveniences during the travel. She set the Hot tub and turned on AC for us. Also provided help with cable and some recommendations. Property is well equipped with everything you need and big enough for 4 people to fit comfortably. Some areas need deep cleaning. With the humidity of the area there are some areas with moss in the ceilings. Washer, dryer combo is convenient but takes a lot to dry if it ever does. The parking is tricky to get in and out but doable.

• Rebecca (8/5): Comfy home, wish the listing description had been more forthcoming regarding the roads and neighbors - Things we loved: Clean and comfy beds & linens, well appointed kitchen and baths. Everything felt fresh and new and the space overall was great. The hot tub was a treat! The host was kind and responsive. We didn't love that the property was on the main road into town. While the gate was a nice feature, headlights and loud motor bikes kept us awake all night. We also saw people walking directly behind and next door to the property. One of those was through the shower window. My husband rigged up a makeshift curtains for privacy.

• Toland (10/5): Luxurious home away from home - Clari, the host, was so kind and helpful! The home had everything we needed for our stay and more. It felt like a luxury getaway with all of the extra details she provides. The location is just minutes from downtown Santa Elena. It didn't detract from our stay at all, but it is worth noting that the driveway is challenging because it is steep and on a curve in the road.

It has a gate that can be closed for a bit more privacy. More eco friendly! The washer dryer combo is fantastic too. Clari is very helpful and friendly too! Close to a brewery and pizza place that are great! Getting in from the road is a bit tricky. Some blind spots. But if you’re careful it’s not a big deal. It would be great to have a welcome list in the house with how to use the amenities. Clari answers very fast with any questions though!
• Sara (9/5): Great short stay in a small villa with a modern industrial feel. - Gated, decent size for two couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean. The hot tub was very relaxing in the morning. The kitchen was great with all the amenities needed for preparing breakfast. Some written instructions on how to turn on the hot tub would be great. The towels feel more like fleece blankets and are hard to use to dry yourself off after a shower.

It was also bigger than we expected! It’s a really good location if you have a car, not too far from the centre where the restaurants are. The only thing to be aware of is the driveway is situated on the bend of a main road so need to be very careful pulling in and out. A lovely place, especially if you’re going with a family or a bigger group.

• Rey (9/5): The hostess Clari is very accessible and friendly! She takes pride in a clean and well stocked home. - The hostess is very friendly and wants to be helpful. The house is very modern and came well stocked with kitchen supplies and cooking needs. Some of the amenities were nonfunctional; the hot tub required repair but the hostess got it fixed in time for us to enjoy it during our last night. The washing machine leaks and is very loud/aggressive when in use—it also does not dry well (if at all) but that is common for this design of washer. We hung our clothes out to dry but the hostess offered to do our laundry for us which was exceedingly nice.

• Edison (9/5): Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the personal touch is a rare feature for any family. - This property was only 2 months old , so it was fresh and modern with amenities. It was about a mile out of downtown. The location was very close to many activities and tours to enjoy. The owner was very responsive to our needs and was a great source of information for our stay. I would like the living room area to have more comfortable furniture, as older people can't get up from low height couches or chairs. Also, having a small table in that area would allow for games and projects. It would be nice to have sinks with hot water available.
• Jonathan (10/5): Highly recommended new property. After busy days of activity, like hiking in the cloud forest, it was a great place to - Clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Short drive to town and to everything we wanted to do. Loved the hot tub. Clari is a charming host, and very attentive. Unlike at most vacation rentals, she was available for cleaning and did our laundry. Hot water only in the showers.
