• Marta (9/5): Bliskość do centrum, nowoczesny i czyściutki obiekt. - W obiekcie niczego nie brakowało (no, może poza suszarką do włosów;)). Czysto, elegancko, pachniało nowością i dopracowaniem w każdym szczególe. Bardzo mili właściciele - super kontakt i otoczenie opieką (organizują transfer z lotniska, przesyłają listę miejsc i restauracji wartych odwiedzenia i in.). Bliskość oceanu - wychodzisz z apartamentu, 3 minuty i jesteś. Bliskość do centrum a jednocześnie cisza i spokój. Duża ilość insektów (sugeruje nie otwierać okna w sypialni, tylko korzystać z wiatraka / klimatyzacji, bo inaczej noc nieprzespana). Taras - myślałam, że będzie bardziej ‚zakamuflowany’. Tymczasem znajduje się przed wejściem do obiektu, przy drodze, którą często przechodzą ludzie / przejeżdżają auta. Zabrakło mi kameralności. Kamera nad wejściem do obiektu (i tym samym nad tarasem) - rozumiem, że że to ze względów bezpieczeństwa, a jednak wpłynęło to odrobinę na moje poczucie komfortu.
• Guest (10/5): Ein netter Ort , nah am Strand, liebevoll eingerichtet, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. - Die Lage war am Strand, wir konnten das Meer rauschen hören. Es gab genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, allerdings immer ein wenig zum Laufen. Preise sind auf Sal allgemein höher, dadurch ist die Auswahl auch deutlich besser. Viele Restaurants, mit unterschiedlichen Preisen. Die stillgelegten Salinen waren nicht weit entfernt, interessant! Der Kitesurferstrand ist schon ein Stück weiter weg, aber es ist toll zuzugucken. Die Wohnung war liebevoll eingerichtet. Draußen gab es Tisch und Bänke, leider vorübergehend nur 2 Liegestühle, wir haben uns abgewechselt. Drinnen war der Tisch zum Essen zu klein, haben dann auch bei frischem Wind draußen gegessen. Küchenzubehör war deutlich umfangreicher, als in anderen Wohnungen. Ein kleines Schäl/ Schneidemesser wäre noch schön gewesen. Alles in allem war es ein netter Aufenthalt, dort. Alles prima, sehr zufrieden!

• Test (10/5): - Très bel appartement et très bien équipé. Le coin un peu à l'écart du centre ville nous a plu par son côté sauvage et calme. Lynda et Craig sont très gentils et nous ont beaucoup aidés avec leurs conseils La télécommande de la clim était introuvable :(
• Fátima (10/5): Tranquilidad. - Todo perfecto! Era lo que buscábamos, poder estar bien situados en Santa Maria (Sal) pero alejados del barullo. Te encuentras cerca de todo lo necesario. El apartamento es encantador, limpieza excepcional y cuenta con todo tipo de comodidades. Nosotros no llegamos a usar la cocina pero no le faltaba detalle. Y por último, los anfitriones (Lynda y Craig) te proporcionan todo tipo de información para convertirse en un lugareño más. Resrauracion, farmacias, contactos de taxi para transfer al aeropuerto o moverse por el pueblo… en definitiva, como en casa en el caribe africano. Muy recomendable. Todo bien

• Mateusz (10/5): Exceptional - I highly recommend the Blue Ocean Escapes in Santa Maria for several reasons. First of all, the place is lovely, and the owner, Lynda, is incredibly kind. She took care of us from start to finish, doing everything possible to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The apartment is well-equipped with all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom, making it very convenient. You have everything you need to prepare meals and do laundry. If you prefer to eat out, there are two dining options just outside the apartment—one in the front and another in the back. Another highlight is the location. It's situated in a quiet area, just about 50 meters from the ocean, allowing you to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. This makes it an excellent starting point for exploring. A five-minute walk will take you to a beautiful beach for water sports activities, and a 15-minute walk will lead you to another beach that is more touristy but still lovely. The main street of the city is also just a 10-minute walk away. You can easily visit another city, Espargos, the capital, by taking a bus. The bus station is only a 15-minute walk from the apartment. Nearby, you'll find the best café on the island, called Giramondo. In summary, it’s an absolutely lovely place. Our stay in Sal was wonderful, not only because of the beautiful landscapes and experiences but also because of Lynda's apartment.
• Mollie (10/5): Lovely holiday at Blue Ocean Escapes - We had an amazing stay at Blue Ocean Escapes! The owners, Lynda and Craig, were incredibly friendly and helpful, they provided us with lots of information about the local area including recommendations for places to visit, things to do, and places to eat. Communication and check-in was really straightforward, and they were even able to accommodate a later than planned check-in, due to a delayed flight. The apartment itself was in a perfect location for us, it was just a short walk into town for the restaurants, shops and bars, and right across from the beach and sea. It was really easy to access the coastal path across from the apartment, which lead to shell beach / shell cemetery, and in the other direction to a lovely sandy beach with a bar and sunbeds. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with all the essentials, and even had some extra nice touches e.g. the coffee machine, air fryer, and outdoor seating! Overall we loved our stay, and we will definitely book to stay here again whenever we return to Sal.
• Charlotte (10/5): Perfect property, home from home, everything you need, great hosts. - Very quiet relaxing property. 10 min lovely walk from the hustle and bustle of Santa Maria or €3-€5 euro in a taxi. Fab comfy beds, amazing pillows, good quality bedding, wifi, aircon, fans, air fryer, induction hob, toaster, microwave, coffee machine (perhaps take more vertuo pods with you as can’t get on island). Basically absolutely everything you need to have an amazing stay. We sat having breakfast every morning on the porch, looking at the ocean. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts. Make you feel so welcome and give you as much information as you want. Will definitely be back. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Nothing not to like at all, just know it is a bit out of town towards Buddha Beach/Shell Cemetery but this was a bonus to us and not an issue as love a walk in the perfect weather.
• Björn (10/5): No stress - The location is very quiet at night. 3’ walk to the first beach bar and a small 15’ to the city center. Very lovely apartment. Beaches here are different than the other side of Santa Maria with lots of stones. Lynda is one of the best hosts we ever had, and we travel a lot ! She wants to give you a perfect experience, you can contact her anytime for anything and last but not least….. you feel her love and respect towards the locals who she’s working with.
• Julia (10/5): Lovely apartment with sea view close to Shell beach. - Very nice place close to the beach, ocean view from the terrace. Quiet area close to Shell beach, and only a short walk to closest beaches and restaurants, and about 20 to city centre. Well equipped and helpful hosts. Everything was great!
