Apartman je bio jako čist, opremljen sa svim potrebnim aparatima za duži boravak. Dovoljno su nam ostavili ručnika i ostalog potrebnog toalet pribora. Domaćini su vrlo uslužni i pustili su nas da ostavimo kofer prije vremena predviđenog za ulazak u apartman. U apartman se ulazi na drugom katu i proteže se na slijedeća tri kata, svaka prostorija je na slijedećem katu. Dosta hodanja po stepenicama, samo budite spremni na to.

I was very happy staying here and enjoyed the roof terrace with my morning coffee. There was an issue with the temperature of the bath water but I believe that’s an area issue the owner is trying to get sorted. There are also 2 showers which worked well so it was fine.

- Ali (5/5): Needs a proper clean - It was well equipped and the location was good Bkack mould in the bathroom. Limescsle all over the shower. Kettle made the water taste bad. Stairs were difficult and the key was difficult to access.

I checked out two days early of the three day stay. 40 minutes to access A22 (not correct!!). It was such a bad experience collecting the keys. There were three drop boxes on the floor two on the right and one on the left. The owner said to use “one from the left” it made no sense… literally worst experience ever on my hands and knees in my suit, dark outside, no lighting to see the codes on the box, wrong code given initially, then new code found, couldn’t see what I was doing. Box broken, so stressful as I felt fearful for my safety with my suitcase, handbag, laptop all around me. Took 40 minutes to access property worse experience and the host was unbelievable patronising “no one else had a problem” which is false as several reviews mention it. Then after all of that then had major problems accessing the actual flat which had an unusual yale lock. Saw another guest struggling too locked out his flat! Owner did not say sorry once but blamed me for user error! Also said he’s not responsible for my safety and it’s a safe part of London but missed the point entirely that his access route to the property unreasonably exposed me to risk as bags all around me in the dark struggling. A man from premier inn came to help me (will stay there next time !). Please see photos No tv channels, just Netflix which had various profiles locked to other users. No mirror apart from small bathroom one where lighting was orange Suitcases all in corridors difficult to manoeuvre and made me feel unsafe Steep marble stairs and two flights up. Very hard with bags and wet shoes. Sensor lights intermittent Awful shower, very small hose had black mould all around on floor see photo Owner then whatsapped me about the heating and making sure I turned them off etc as per his instruction sheet. I didn’t even have an instruction sheet which I told him and he just gave me the “thumbs up” Very loud above a bus stop and next to hospital two ambulance outside the bedroom window Host refused to supply Vat receipt after leaving this negative review !

Für 5 Personen doch etwas eng (Die Doppelbetten sehr schmal). Die Bäder teilweise nicht funktionstüchtig bzw. sehr klein. Die Wasserpumpe leider recht laut. Die vielen Stiegen in der Wohnung (3 Stockwerke innerhalb der Wohnung) für meine Eltern mühsam. War uns bei der Buchung nicht bewusst, was natürlich nicht dem Vermieter angelastet werden kann.

Il monolocale è ben attrezzato e pulito. Proprio sotto casa vi sono diversi locali per mangiare e un texco express h 24 si trova ad un paio di minuti. Il proprietario è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente ci ritornerei. Nulla.

It had not been made clear in the listing that this apartment was on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor with no lift etc. Narrow staircase. We are young and fit enough to go up the stairs but it would be totally unsuitable for anyone who had mobility issues or who struggled to carry a case etc. The sitting area to watch TV etc was rather limited and the TV was not functional as it just put up a message of "no source signal" - so it was unusable!

- Sakir (10/5): Hidden Gem in CITY OF LONDON. We LOVEEED it! - This place is in CITY OF LONDON! A fantastic find; lovey, cosy, place to stay with a ROOFTOP terrace in City of London. You will be getting Great Views from every Window and rooftop. 1 min away from Smithfield market and less then a min walk from Bartholomews Hospital, 4 min walk from St PAUL's and many many more well known places. It was a Great find for us. We do not have any complains. We enjoyed our stay. If you travel frequently in London and if you know about London and places then you would Love this place! Very easy and several transportations are available to travel all over UK. St Paul's, Millennium Bridge, British Museum, Smithfield Market and many more.

Bad mattress, hard pillows, badly cleaned, had almost no liquid soap and although we arranged to stay 8 nights we had no extra towels or sheets. It is a very suitable apartment but needs more caring..

Was told by the property that this is a problem with city of London- which I find hard to believe - as I haven’t not encountered this issue when I stayed in London before! There was no water in the upstairs bathroom to wash hands let alone have a shower. It was a joke.

- Hans (6/5): Would not stay in again - It is spacious, well equipped with kitchenware, washing machine, ironing kits. Location is ideal. Bed is slightly small for couple. The shower drain is blocked since we stayed in on first day. It is quite warm too as no air ventilation or fan, if we open up the window to let air breeze in it would be too noisy to sleep at night. Imagine summer will be worse. I was given the contact number to WhatsApp to feedback however I receive no response from there either, feel abit dissapointed.

The shower tray waste was blocked, so we could only have a short shower before the tray was full of water. The pillows were huge! I definitely would have slept better if there was an option for a smaller pillow. First night was quiet but second night there were people staying in the apartment upstairs and I could hear every sound they made. I did message the owner while I was staying about all of the above, but I did not receive a response to any of my issues—not even an acknowledgement.

- Chris (8/5): Good alternative to a hotel room in a historic and convenient location. - Location was ideal, and also very quiet. The apartment is big enough for one or a couple. Quite spartan, but that's fine with me. The kitchen is usable and sufficiently equipped. Bathroom is modern and works as it should. The host is very responsive to messages or phone calls. The cafe in the building next door is a London classic - very old school. One of the blinds was not operational. Plastic flowers are a horror.
- Jolanda (4/5): Not possible to take a warm shower - Location is excellent, apartment looks nice, view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful The shower next to the bedroom did not have warm water, when our son took a cold shower the water came dripping through the kitchen ceiling. The shower next to the toilet was very difficult to operate and when there was warm water it stopped after 3 minutes. Of course it is possible to have a malfunction, but this has been mentioned in reviews before. Not to mention our surprise finding a - new, in the box - hot water unit in the hallway. To say the least, we would have appreciated it when it was installed before we checked in. When we informed the owner of our issues he responded much later with the reaction he would fix it after we checked out. To have the expectation that you can take a warm shower doesn't seem too much to ask for!

- Helen (5/5): Passable - The location was good. it's big with good facilities. No ambient lighting in the living room, both lamps in each bedroom didn't work. And several lights in the ensuite did work. The biggest complaint was that although there is a beautiful bath, the water heater ( not a boiler) does not have the power to fill it, so it's useless.

It seems to be intentional in having a similar name to the hotel just next to it, the Smithfield Premier Inn, that misleading the reader like me while making a choice. The manner of the host was really bad in handling my help calls until I lost my temper to deal with him, how can a host put all the blame on the guest rather than helping and solving those issues? The host indeed didn't check all facilities to welcome a guest, instead expecting a guest to report and provide real time information for their maintenance works arrangement. The corridor light was not properly working, the main heater didn't work while the outside temperature was 0 degrees, the carpet was filthy, no working desk in the studio, window blinds were broken and the facilities are not worth the money they charged which is much higher than the Premier Inn next door.

There were a few thoughtful touches left for us as a welcome gift. very centrally located. safe neighbourhood and the roof terrace is lovely to have. Flat has clearly been developed/renovated for long term let but is being rented out for now on a short term basis whilst they find tenants and snag the finish. Blinds were lacking or let in all the light. They could do with rectifying that, especially as we stayed in the summer with children. Also the top floor bedroom was quite noisy with wind /roof tile movement. Pictures were propped against the wall still to be hun and my daughter cut her hand on a broken glass door knob in the bathroom.
- Bronagh (8/5): Great location, very clean property - Location, everything was new and exceptionally clean and well decorated. Owner was very helpful with any questions we had. Upper bedroom had no curtains. Water pressure in shower was intermittent but that is a London area issue not property.
