- Melicorn (9/5): Comfy, lovely surroundings, and a good location for getting to 'Warbirds over Scone' - We really liked the room we had - but we also loved the location - we were visiting to attend 'Warbirds Over Scone' - so we really just needed somewhere to sleep and leave our things - but we were super happy with our choice! The grounds are lovely, and as keen birders, we had a great time spotting and photographing various species! The room was spacious and though it had 2 bedrooms and no 'living space' per say, it wasn't a big issue for us not being in the room for very long each day. It would have been nice for one of the rooms to be more of a 'lounge room' type space, with a couch and coffee table. But maybe it was probably the room type we booked. . . it's really not even something I'd say we 'didn't like' - just something we 'would have liked' :)

It was comfortable with great amenities and the staff were very friendly - It was a great size and had all the amenities we needed for a nights long stay Wouldn’t apply all year round, but it was a bit hot in the bedrooms and the aircon didn’t seem to come through when the door was half closed.

- Todd and Vivi (10/5): Peaceful, clean and perfect for families! - Fiona and Guy greeting us upon arrival and we're kind enough to spend some time telling us about places we can check out in Denman and surrounds. Our 2 bedroom Lakeside Cabin was pleasant and clean, we love that we had a kitchen vs a kitchenette which allowed us to cook proper meals. We enjoyed being able to eat breakfast outside on the balcony in the morning and take in the peacefulness of our surrounding. The smell of the lake can be a bit much at certain time of the day (warm weather probably doesn't help) but we didn't spend much time outside when we were at the cabin and you didnt notice it much if we didn't wander too close.

- Alison (7/5): Our stay was comfortable thank you. - Denman is a great place to start a cycle trip of the Upper Hunter Valley. We enjoyed a swim in the 50m pool nearby. More trees around the Van Village would provide more shade and improve the outlook.

- Natalie (10/5): - Staff were so friendly upon arrival. We were able to check in early. 2 bedroom cabin was great with a beautiful view from the deck, plenty of space for 2 couples. The lovely lady even suggested if we were to walk and visit the local winery (maybe next visit) and we were to purchase a case, she'd come and collect us. Good old fashion "Country hospitality" Thankyou! We'll definitely be back. Nothing....everything was fantastic.

Great service with confirmation phone call prior to arrival. Tidy, clean and quiet cabin. Other family members has a newer Cabin that was riverside. I found the location of our cabin disappointing. I was the first of family to book via Booking.com in April so I was disappointed that we had an older style without a veranda. The new cabins are very nice so I was a tad envious ; ) Next time I’ll be sure to book direct with you instead of via an OTA.
