- Kelles (8/5): We love our annual visit to the Grampians and Homefield Homestead feels like “home” each year. - Good location. Peaceful. Lovely yard with visiting wildlife. Good size rooms, comfortable, well equipped. Undercover parking for 1 vehicle. Heating and cooling if needed. Some minor maintenance issues that have now been notified to the owner.

- Phong (10/5): Lovely property in fantastic location. - Location was incredible with garden backing on to forest - 15 minute walk to the nearest waterfall. Easy walk into town too. House had everything we needed with lots of homely touches and a well-stocked games cupboard. We stayed with kids and grandparents - everyone was happy.
- Tarran (7/5): - Location was brilliant The house wasn't very clean at all
- Linda (10/5): A beautiful relaxing garden. - The absolute best! Loved everything. Nothing.
- Philip (9/5): All was good, comfy place with a wood heater that warmed the place nicely -

- Peter (10/5): Homefield Homestead is the ideal place to explore Grampians National Park - Gorgeous location in natural setting, yet in walking distance to town. Plenty of space and amenities. Easy check in, helpful and clear information. We had a wonderful stay.

- Merton (10/5): Fantastic location! Cosy and fun with everything we needed! - Fantastic location! Cosy and fun with everything we needed!
- Jarrod (10/5): Fantastic family getaway at the foot of the Grampians. - Fantastic location within walking distance of the town village with views of the Grampians behind. Plenty of wildlife and bush all around. The house is larger than the photos suggest with 2 living areas and good sized bedrooms. The outdoor area with bbq, fire pit and table / chairs was exactly what we were seeking and a great spot to spend the afternoon/ evening. We were more than happy with what was on offer for the price.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annaliese (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): Excellent place for families with young children - Amazing spot for a family of young kids. The house has all the facilities you need and the large open back yard into national park land for the kids to play (within site) was excellent. Loved the outdoor entertainment area with fire pit and bbq.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Great accommodation, well appointed, perfect for families. - We were a family group of 3 generations visiting the area.
Older building but clean and in good condition.
The house had 2 living areas so the kids could be playing in one area and the oldies reading in the other.
The kitchen was well equipped with loads of crockery etc.
Huge laundry would be a bonus for long stays.
The kids loved finding the toys and games in the cupboard. Loads of space outside for the kids to run around.
Lots of birds and kangaroos, easy walk into town and to other walks.
Small unit next door might make it good for even larger groups.(?) Our bed was great but apparently the queen bed in the big room wasn’t great.
The single beds were fine for kids but not so good for adults.
- Kelles (8/5): A relaxing home away from home with all amenities at an affordable price - we have booked again! - The homestead is in a central peaceful location within easy walking distance to the main shopping area and access to local walks. It has lawns and gardens and the birds and kangaroos were a delight - we even had a resident kangaroo who was happy to share the gardens with us. Access and parking was easy. The home had plenty of space for 4 and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately we arrived in really hot weather and only 2 of the bedrooms had cooling systems. Ceiling fans in bedrooms 3 and 4 would have helped.
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tan (7/5): Good - Location is good and we have” little friends” that visit us. Those kangaroo seems to feel at home outside the house and it’s Great Watching them
- Dharmik (10/5): We had relaxing weekend with friends and love to come again. - The location, the facility is filled with all amenities, linen, laundry and specially games, toys for kids. The owner has kindly offered firewood. We loved sitting by the fire and watching stars. Kangaroos, deers and variety of birds strolling around the garden all the times.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Imelda (9/5): Very hesitant to leave. This little cottage was clean & cosy on beautiful gardens. Close to town . -
- Matthew (10/5): Brilliant place, very homely and highly recommended….we will be back!!! - Everything Nothing
- Andy (8/5): Enjoyable, beautiful and fully functional house full of natural surroundings - We like the location and the facilities within the property. There are washer, dryer, heater in the rooms, oven etc. A lot of plants and wild life surroundings with kangaroos within metres of the building. We even plucked ripe lemon from the tree and used it for our food. The rear master bedroom's bed was slightly sagging and I had to sleep in the single bed near the kitchen. The rooms do not power wall sockets. Hence we have to charge our gadjets outside our rooms. No worries, all these are minor problems.
- Anastasiia (10/5): Just perfect stay, 1000% recommended - Very spacious and clean, the house had everything we needed and even more, beautiful surrounding area, easy check-in instructions, just all perfect! N/A
- Milne (8/5): Very good -
- Phillips (10/5): We will definitely be back. - The house was perfect for our family of 6. Great amenities and wood fire. Kids loved the space, wildlife and outdoor fire. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect location - Homefield was close to all the amenities that Halls Gap had to offer. The home itself was welcoming and ready to put your bags down and start to enjoy your break away a brilliant place to unwind and either relax with a book or take a hike on one of the amazing trails. A place where you could do as much or as little as you pleased. We arrived late in the afternoon and it was a little nippy. A barrow of wood to assist in starting the fire would have been great, the woodshed was close to the house so not a huge issue
- Rowena (10/5): A home away from home! - We liked everything about the home, from its location, what it provided, it was well equipped with the comfort of daily living and entertainment!
It was quite a wet, rainy weekend when we stayed but the cabinetry full of games and toys entertained us and our children.
We managed to have windows during the day to explore, eat out and do hikes in town, a beautiful part of Victoria🥰. We'll be back again.
