Guest Reviews
- Julie (9/5): Comfortable for an overnight stay. - The managers were delightful and very helpful. The snacks provided were a nice touch.
The room was comfortable but the bathroom was very dated. The motel is close to the road but the room was quiet during the night when it was most needed. There are several coffee shops and eateries nearby. The bathroom was very old.
A tea towel would have been helpful.

Pool and bbq areas were nice.
Bed comfy! The bathroom was very very ordinary with a leaking shower recess and tile work unfinished around windows etc. It needs a face lift!
Thought the unit would have been better for the price!

- Joel (4/5): Great location but cold showers - The location was great, and it was nice and quiet Towels were very old and thin, as were sheets and blankets didn’t go rite across the bed so a bit cool.
The biggest let down was we had NO HOT WATER for showers

- Barry (5/5): Fair, but lacking in climate control. - The room was clean and adequate. The position was good and it was quiet. We stayed there during a high intensity heat wave and there was no control for the aircon and the ceiling fan was set to winter mode. We didn't get into the room until after 8:00pm, so it was an uncomfortable night. I could not hear anyone else using their air conditioners, so I suspect it is a cost saving initiative. If so, consideration for such extreme weather conditions should be made. I raised this point with the management.through their website.
- Andrew (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay. Esk is a lovely little town. - Location. Everything was as expected.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Wendy (3/5): Crappiest motel I have stayed at in a long time. - It was close to town The kitchen has no power points to use the kettle.
The shower leaked outside the shower cubicle.
My boots got wet from water coming through the wall somehow.
There was nowhere to put our suitcase, or anywhere to put our clothes.
There was no hanging space for shirts etc.
The front door looked like someone had broken the glass section, and a fence paling had been nailed in to repair it.
The staff started cleaning adjacent rooms at 7.15 on a Saturday morning.
The toilet felt like I was on a rocking chair.
- Matthieu (7/5): Simple - Place de parking abrité
- IAN (10/5): -
- Daryl (8/5): - Location and value for money

- Cassidy (10/5): Country motel with charm, owned by incredibly hospitable locals! - Jarrod and Penny went out of their way to make my stay a comfortable one. I stayed during some crazy weather, and Jarrod and Penny ensured that I was safe, that my car was out of harm, and that my room was perfect. Thank you for your hospitality! Nothing - everything was excellent. A perfect country motel with amenities, complimentary snacks and a comfy bed. What more could you want!?
- Pauline (10/5): A perfect place for a getaway in beautiful Esk… - Great location, very comfortable accommodation.

- Pam (9/5): - Large comfortable room good bed and pillows kitchinette microwave and complimentary food and drink added a nice touch. Undercover parking very good outside our room big tv hot shower No shelves to put bathroom articles on
- Andrew (9/5): Pet friendly and great location - We travelled with our small dog and unit one is allocated for pets. Room had ceiling fan, a/c and everything we needed. Small seated area for breakfast. Also were a 5min walk to the pub which was dog friendly and had great food specials - there was also a Thai restaurant even closer. Shops and an amazing tea house for breakfast/brunch close by
- Duncan (5/5): Perfect for 1 or 2 nights. - Big comfy bed. Shower had high pressure with good hot water.
Lots of complimentary snacks.
New owners have just taken over. They wont get bored Rooms need updating but I would stay there again.
- Brian &Sue (10/5): Was perfect for me and l should be for others too - The new managers were great they let me do a bit of laundry and l really appreciate that and the complimentary drink and nibbles was just perfect 👌 Will definitely stay there again .Great place for motorcycle riders. That l never got there earlier to use the pool.
- william (8/5): Good at this price - Right price and good location to the cbd Like most Motels that are on the main road there was traffic noise and a few workers either side of our unit that has them drinking till late and getting up early for work 🫣
- Carolyn62 (5/5): - Location. Didn't have carport for vehicle.
- John (7/5): Does the job. Few options in Esk - Helpful staff member Traffic noise
- Stephen (9/5): -

- Beth (7/5): -
- Scott (7/5): -
- Shannon (10/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Ok. - Location was fine for what we wanted. Bed comfortable. The unit was ok, bed was comfortable and nice to have a blanket and hairdryer but the bathroom was a bit grimey with a dusty fake cactus and dust on metal shelf and soap bottle. Grey towels were fresh but old and worn. No t towel to wipe up dishes, no cloth. Dishwash square was old.
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Ross (10/5): - A clean honest motel. Can only recommend
- Meryl (9/5): -
- Ryden (10/5): - Comfortable beds, very clean room and facilities, close to the local pub.
- Amar (10/5): I had amazing stay! - Room is spacious and clean. Location is amazing, walking distance from everything you need. I had a dip in the pool, which was surprisingly warmer than I expected in winter There is nothing I didn’t like, everything was perfect
- Levi (9/5): -
- Bronwyn (8/5): Pleasant - The room was nice and clean and had a range of snacks that were appreciated. The air conditioner in the neighbouring rooms were too loud and it turning in and off woke me up.
- Trent (1/5): Don't expect too much... - It was a convenient location, short to walk to shops and the venue we were attending. The floor wasn't swept or mopped in some time.
I took my shoes off at the door, walked to the bathroom then sat on the bed and my feet were covered in dust, fluff and god only knows what else.
- Lisa (6/5): - Booking in easy. Close to our function. Lovely complimentary drinks etc. It is dated and bathroom didn’t feel clean. Mould evident in the shower.
- Leanne (3/5): Unfortunately I won't be back - I had booked 2 x King suites. When I arrived I could not contact reception via phone. Other guests who'd been there for hours had the same problem. Everyone had just taken whatever suite they decided to choose because no one knew which room they were allocated. The manager finally messaged my phone to say onsite management had left unexpectedly. I had to search for the second room, which was not one that I initially booked. The room I stayed in stank. There was a blockage in the bathroom drain that made the whole room smell rotten for 2 nights. Management said they would message and provide reimbursement but they didn't. On follow up they offered me the option to stay another time for free. I requested a refund of one of the rooms and have heard nothing back. Won't be returning. Smell of the room
