Историческое здание и номера. Персонал любезный. Те кто ожидают что будет как в фильме-нет. Центральный вход-для жителей этого комплекса, это не отель. А вход в отель, который занимает лишь часть жилого комплекса, сбоку. Номер очень скромный за те деньги что мы заплатили: более 2000. Вид во двор-то есть без вида. Не нужно расчитывать на что-то грандиозное. Небольшой отель, хоть и высокий. Вход не «инстаграмный». Особого шика нет. В номере нет чайника, зато есть ведерко для льда))

- Dani (3/5): An outrageous price attached to a poor quality hotel - Location Very unfriendly staff - the staff at the counter were unhelpful and made multiple mistakes while checking in. The room service staff repeatedly forgot to provide key amenities like water and robes, meaning we had to keep calling to ask for these to be delivered, presumably because they were angling for tips. One man even asked us for a tip immediately after we had already tipped 25%. Cleanliness was extraordinarily disappointing with large stains on the bedding and even black mould in our room. The price is utterly outrageous for how poor the quality is, and I say this as someone who has stayed at five stay hotels in countries across the world.

- amélie (10/5): Le luxe au charme suranné au pied de central Park - Le luxe absolu et le charme lié à un lieu historique . Chambre incroyable. Salle de bain splendide et immense. Pain perdu exceptionnel au petit déjeuner. Emplacement parfait. On ne peut pas se faire de boisson chaude dans la chambre alors que le mini bar est incroyable. Il faut bien penser à mettre l’étiquette « ne pas déranger sur la porte » car passages fréquents du room service hyper gentil.

- Tobias (4/5): Náš vianočný pobyt bol neprimeraný cene, najmä kvôli neochotným a nafúkaným zamestnancom hotela. - Najpríjemnejšími zamestnancami boli chyžné a personál na recpcii. Po skoršom príchode (asi o 12:00) sme si batožinu nechali na recepcii hotela, pričom check in bol až o 15:00. Zamestnanec na recepcii si vypýtal email s tým, že nás bude kontaktovať, keď bude izba pripravená. Keďže nám žiaden e-mail neprišiel, následne sme sa do hotela vrátili po 16:00 a izba stále nebola pripravená, čo považujem za absolútne neprijateľné. • Na izbu sme sa nakoniec vrátili až okolo 18:00, kedy izba bola konečne pripravená, avšak potom trvalo ešte vyše hodinu, kým sme na izbu dostali našu batožinu. • Prístelka pre ďalších dvoch hostí nebola pripravená, po dlhej ceste človek naozaj nechce čakať do pol deviatej, kým niekto konečne pripraví posteľ! • Vrcholom bolo jedno ráno, keď sme na raňajky čakali v rade vyše 40 minút. Boli sme štyria na vianočnom pobyte a slečna, ktorá nás mala usadiť, sa spýtala, či musíme sedieť spolu. Keď sme odpovedali, že áno, povedala, že musíme ešte čakať. Povedali sme, že to nepovažujeme za normálne a namiesto ospravedlnenia sme dostali arogantnú odpoveď, že v každej lepšej reštaurácií v meste sa čaká na stôl, čo je samozrejme pravda, ale nie na zaplatené hotelové raňajky, šialené. • Zlatým klincom celého pobytu bolo, že napriek našim 11 kusom batožiny sme museli niekoho žiadať o pomoc s naložením do taxíku. Pán, ktorý nám nakoniec pomohol nám na schodoch odbil koliesko na kufri, keby sa poň nezdvihneme my, nechal by to pokojne tak, žiadneho ospravedlnenia ani náhrady sme sa samozrejme nedočkali. Pravdou je, že sme to už s hotelom neišli riešiť, pretože nás čakal taxík a museli sme odísť na letisko. • Celkovo prístup zamestnancov hodnotíme veľmi negatívne, hotel sa tvári, na akej je úrovni, pritom každý priemerný hotel má lepšie služby ako tento. Bohužiaľ ikonický je iba vďaka jednému filmu, ďalej už na sebe nikto z tohto hotela nepracuje.

- Shannon (10/5): A must while in New York - I have wanted to stay at the renowned PLAZA HOTEL since forever and I was able to celebrate my birthday there The property is exquisite the accommodations nothing short of spectacular! They made my birthday incredibly special leaving a beautifully made cake and birthday bear with the signature plaza robe, balloons and a personalized card. So incredibly thoughtful and kind. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms are just gorgeous The palms court restaurant and champagne bar restaurant were divine! Wide range of champagne and cocktails and delicious food. This is one of the most sought after stays and it speaks for itself as to why it keeps its reputation Absolutely a girls dream come true! Nothing it was spectacular
- Els (9/5): Rustgevend luxueus hotel op een perfecte locatie. - We hadden een mooie kamer met luxueuze en zeer comfortabele bedden. Het hotel is zeer aangenaam en er heerst een rustige sfeer. Mooie centrale bar met zeer vriendelijk personeel en een ruime keuze uit cocktails en lekkere wijnen. Het gereserveerde privé vervoer van de luchthaven naar het hotel viel tegen. We hadden aan het hotel een taxi gevraagd om ons samen met 2 grote koffers en 2 handbagages naar het hotel te brengen. Maar de chauffeur zette de handbagage op onze voeten in een Mercedes sedan.

Ça vaut le détour. À faire une fois dans sa vie. Franchement les moquettes et les rideaux, pas si propres que ça. Les équipements vétustes. Nos standards européens, plus particulièrement suisses, sont plus haut de gamme que cela. Mais bon. À faire quand même 😉.

Everyone I interacted with was very helpful and provided good customer service. It’s a landmark of New York City and my wife always wanted to experience staying there. There didn’t seem to be enough staff at the hotel’s entrance so we had to wait a few minutes for someone to take our luggage in and show us to the reception. In general the bedroom was well cleaned everywhere you could see, but for instance there was a shelve with candy/nuts/etc in one of the closets, it was clear those hadn’t been touched for ages just because of the dust (hard to see for someone shorter than 6’). For the price, which is quite high, you’d expect those sharp edges to be fixed.

- Therese (3/5): for an extremely expensive suite, the service just didn’t match up accordingly. there are much better hotels for a fract - location rooms are very old and dated. the windows were extremely drafty, our rooms were freezing. we upgraded to the royal suite and there was no bottled water provided, there are no tea or coffee stations in the suite. they left cheese in our room for the entire stay and there was no turndown service provided. the bath faucet fell off in my hand when I turned it on

The beds r terrible probably the worst I’ve slept in poor quality sheets bed needs a mattress topper for sure u can feel the design of the mattress which is hard as a rock and loud when moving around in the bed so loud that each time my daughter or I moved in our beds we would wake each other up. The room with 2 queen beds had 1 tiny night stand so had to plug my phone in on other side of the bed and rest on the floor where I also put my drink since I couldn’t reach the tiny night stand on other side. The mini bar only had regular soda. Since we were out and about later we decided to have dessert at the palm court it was horrible apple/berry cobbler was cold the ice cream wouldn’t even melt on it and the sorbet the sever didn’t really know what the flavors were so we got 3 different scoops and turns out 1 we would not have chosen. Turn down service was late and they give u box water and no treat which I find strange for this level hotel. Morning breakfast was good once someone finally took our order but we ordered a chocolate twist with our meals to share when our meals came and no twist for a bit I asked turns out they gave the twist to the table beside us by mistake so the waiter was like oh and grabbed the plate with the twist from the other peoples table and was going to put it on our table until I’m sure he could see the look on my face (the twist had been sitting on the other peoples table for over 5 mins no idea if they had touched it) then he offered to get me a fresh one it was very odd overall just not what I was expecting for $1600 a night my daughter who’s 18 said she was a bit disappointed in the experience as well her comment was we have stayed at much nicer places in Europe and thought this would measure up to that and honestly me too. The rest of breakfast was great tho and the location of course is perfect.

Destaca-se, também, o café da manhã dele, que foi muito bom. No entanto, a experiência geral não corresponde totalmente à expectativa criada pelo nome e pela fama. Apesar do charme clássico, algumas áreas e quartos demonstram sinais de desgaste e poderiam passar por uma atualização mais cuidadosa, especialmente considerando o alto valor das diárias. O atendimento foi um ponto inconsistente durante a estadia. Embora alguns funcionários tenham sido extremamente educados e prestativos — verdadeiras exceções positivas —, em diversos momentos a sensação foi de um atendimento claramente orientado à expectativa de gorjeta, o que acaba comprometendo a naturalidade do serviço e a experiência do hóspede. Em um hotel desse nível, espera-se que a excelência no atendimento seja espontânea e uniforme, não condicionada. Em comparação com outros hotéis, a experiência pareceu mais burocrática do que calorosa. O quarto era confortável, porém não entregou o fator “uau” esperado para um hotel dessa categoria. Em resumo, o The Plaza continua sendo um marco histórico e oferece uma localização excepcional, mas a relação custo-benefício deixa a desejar. É uma experiência para conhecer pelo simbolismo, porém há outros hotéis em Nova York que oferecem um serviço mais moderno, acolhedor e consistente por um valor bem menor.

- Katarzyna (7/5): Dla spełnionych marzeń - polecam - Hotel to legenda, warto było go doświadczyć. Obsługa miła, nienachalna, wystrój pokoju zgodny z oczekiwaniami. Zmienialiśmy pokój dwa razy, w pierwszym nie było ciepłej wody w wannie, w drugim strasznie śmierdziało dymem papierosowym w toalecie. W pokojach mogłoby być lepiej posprzątane, w barku znaleźliśmy pustą butelkę, w lodówce - starą kanapkę. Oczekiwaliśmy trochę wyższych standardów po hotelu takiej klasy. Pod łóżkiem kurz i śmieci.

Lai gan nopirkām numura ar iekļautām brokastīm, izrādījās, ka par tām vēl bija ļoti dārgi jāpiemaksā - tas gan vairāk atbilst kategorijai - kas nepatika :D Patika iekārtojums, viesnīca bijā ļoti skaisti izdekorēta Ziemassvētkiem Ļoti liela drūzmēšanās, gan pie ieejas, gan pašā hotelī. Uz numuriņu praktiskais viss bija papildus jāpasūta, tajā nebija ne kafijas automāta, ne tējkannas, bet, kad to atnesa, katru reizi, kas vēlējāmies iedzert kafiju, bija jāzvana un jāprasa lai tiktu atnestas kafijas kapsulas un piens. Turklāt, lai sagaidītu pasūtījumu visbiežāk bija nepieciešams gaidīt pāris stundas. Savukārt pēdējā uzturēšanās dienā pat pēc atkārtota pierasījuma beidzot atnest kafijas kapsulas uz numuru tās netika piegādātas vispār..

Lorsque je paye une chambre à 3000 dollars la nuit avec petit déjeuner compris Que je demande au serveur à quoi nous avons le droit sur le menu qu’il nous propose et qu’il me répond … à ce que nous voulons…. Enjoy ! Mais au final on me facture environ 250 dollars en extra… alors je pense que c’est du vol organisé Lorsque je veux utiliser les bons boissons et que je me présente au bar champagne… on me dit que je dois consommer au moins 160 dollars par personne sinon ce n’est pas la peine de m’asseoir…. Je l’ai un peu mauvaise…. Allez donc voir le palace Trianon Versailles …. Le standing est d’un autre niveau et le prix de 940€ et non 3000 dollars

I booked three months ahead. I got a bad view of a back of a street. And still paid 4800 for the two night stay. And we could not get checked in till 4pm. And had to stand and wait. Also don't order toast with eggs. Toast was 17 dollars and you could have played hockey with it.

There are many excellent hotels that manage to preserve their original charm while still being modern in essence (eg. technology and guest comfort), but this one feels simply old for the sake of being old.

Camere senza appoggia salviette, bicchiere per spazzolino, quasi nulla di accessori bagno, no caffè o tè i. Camera, moquette corridoio non pulita , dopo 12 ore rimanevano pezzi di carta del giorno prima. Prezzo sproporzionato per i servizi resi e camere. Bagni comuni con carta per asciugamani e non stoffa. Tovaglioli sotto sapone perché gocviolava. Boh
