• Karyn Mark (10/5): The best place to stay in the area, by far :) - Our stay was amazing. Our hosts Bob & Chelsea were so friendly, kind and welcoming - they really made us feel welcome and so well cared for during our stay. It was exactly as advertised, the room was perfect and the breakfast options were all amazing. Local PEI potatoes (for hash browns) and the freshest and tastiest fruit on our yogurt/granola breakfast. The pictures were current and matched exactly the accomodations! Nothing at all - I can't think of a single detail that wasn't perfect. It was shoulder season so we had the place to ourselves and it was a nice quiet place to enjoy and relax in.

• Diana (10/5): Would definitely come back, lots of hiking in the area made it perfect for us. - Very well maintained property with attentive staff answering all questions prior to arrival via email. Dining staff was amazing, she was so personable and made sure we had everything we needed, even ice for our small cooler bag. Both staff members made our stay exceptional! Very comfortable beds and soft linens. Breakfast was great, and dinner available as well. Location excellent with the most incredible bakery a couple blocks away, “Maroon Pig Gallery” !! Small upstairs rooms very small and attic ceilings not so great for my tall husband. Second night we upgraded to the largest room and it was perfect but spendy.

• Lucie (10/5): Historic inn as a delight - Comfort of the room with maritime themes, bathroom with all amenities, restaurant part of it with great deserts, great service. Reservation process on line with booking.com felt safe compared to other sites. For people older, they need to request the lowest level of the rooms as we were at the highest level with 26 steps and no elevator. It was fine for us but just a point to consider when people reserve the room.

• Graham (8/5): We enjoyed the historic building, the staff, the food and Georgetown itself. A good place to stay - Breakfast was good and also the evening meal we had there. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff were all charming. Bob gave us good advice about places to visit. I do like a kettle in the room because I can’t always get decaffeinated drinks and bring my own supplies. We were given mugs and hot water when I asked which was appreciated.

• Emily (10/5): Amazing time at Georgetown Inn - We loved the Georgetown Inn. When I booked I was worried it was further east than I'd wanted to be ... I was thinking of some place more central to PEI, but I'm so glad we chose Georgetown! It was so peaceful and relaxed. It was a bit of a drive to get to places .. we went to Green Gables Heritage Site, Cavendish Cliffs, Brackley Beach, Greenwich Dunes Trail ... but not too bad. And, some of those other areas seemed a lot more touristy, so I was really glad we had Georgetown to go back to! The owner was super helpful with suggestions, and information about the history of the house. There were a few really neat gift shops / art shops in town, and we enjoyed wandering around one afternoon. My cross-country kid that needed to keep up his running enjoyed several miles on the Confederation Trail each morning. We ate two dinners at the Georgetown Inn (fantastic, especially the scallops and crab cakes!), and the other night we drove into Montague which was only maybe 10 minutes away. Breakfasts were also great - especially the waffles and oatmeal! Our departure day, we needed to get going early to catch the ferry, and they prepared us delicious yogurt parfaits to go. I would LOVE to go back to Georgetown Inn!! There was nothing I didn't like. It was absolutely perfect for my family.

A cappuccino maker would have been appreciated and would have added to the enjoyment of breakfast. Most guests are from cities where cappuccinos are readily available, so it was a disappointment not to get delicious tasting coffee.

• Rock (10/5): Belle découverte dans un village fort sympathique - Il s’agit d’une veille auberge bien entretenue qui a beaucoup de charme. Elle est très bien située dans Georgetown. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et sympathiques. C’est le seul endroit en ville qui offre le petit déjeuner. Nous n’avons pas essayé le souper car le restaurant était fermé pour le soir les lundis et mardis. Georgetown est un petit village très sympathique sur le bord de l’eau . Il y a un autre bon restaurant dans le village situé sur le bord de mer: Wheelhouse . Il n’y a pas de café dans la chambre mais nous avons pu en obtenir du restaurant avant l’ouverture. Il faut être en forme pour monter les bagages au troisième étage!

Par contre nous y avons fort bien dîné ! La chambre était confortable. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine vague de chaleur et la salle de bain sous les toits était un sauna.

• Mikio (10/5): Hidden gem of eastern PEI - A renovated charming old house. Very clean and comfortable, especially the room we stayed ( Harbour room) had a bay window, balcony looking over the sea, very comfortable queen bed, bath tub and an AC. On the main floor, there is a bar, restaurant and salon. The food is excellent and the Inn keepers ( Bob and Chelsea) and workers are very friendly. Inn is located in the city (village) center but very quiet. There is a convenient store on the opposite side of the street and open 7:00-20:00 where you can get almost everything including yummy island made ice-cream. It is about 10 minutes drive to Brudnelle golf course, many good fishing spots, and 1 hour drive to Charlottetown. It is not mentioned on the information as “breakfast included” but the breakfast is complementary and very good. I strongly recommend to try “Frittata”, a kind of quiche🤗

Es wurde auch an gewissen Tagen Abendessen angeboten was das Inn durchaus auch auf der Beschreibung erwähnen sollte da die Speisen hervorragend waren. Das Bett war etwas weich und ungleich gestützt (evtl. ältere Matratze). Es war sehr ringhörig was bei dem älteren Haus zu erwarten ist jedoch sollten gewisse Gäste darauf hingewiesen werden.

If you like historic buildings, small town vibes and slow living this place (Georgetown) and this Inn are definitely for you. The restaurant is also great. I don't mind stairs but if you do make sure you ask for an option on the lower floors.

Loved, the Inn We were quite cold in our room at times overnight because the heating was not able to be regulated properly. If you had it on the room became too hot!! Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
