Guest Reviews
- Adolfo (9/5): -
- Ruben (10/5): Hands down, the best hotel in Galicia. - Everything. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, and the decoration is stunning, very well designed with impeccable taste. Every detail feels carefully considered.
The food across the different restaurants is excellent, and the service truly stands out. The level of care and warmth from the staff is uncommon in Spain. Well beyond a five star experience.
The hotel is perfect both in winter, as a peaceful place to eat well, relax and unwind by the fireplace, and in summer, when you can fully enjoy the pool and outdoor areas.
I would say it is more than a Hotel, it is “an experience”, from start to finish. Highly recommended. Nothing. Even during a rainy Galician week the place is enjoyable
- Ana (9/5): - La casa y el entorno, original y tranquilo. El público al que está destinado, demasiado frívolo y ostentoso.
- Lawrence (1/5): Not worth it , they are more wonderful and inexpensive places in Spain to stay than this place. - My husband and I we’re looking for a Pazo in Galicia for two nights in a room . Your pictures and wording about the accommodation were totally misleading you called bungalow? (Is a one room house) a Yurt ? ( is a TENT) , it was nothing more than a TENT nothing luxurious about the Tent we were put in for two nights , we felt cheated all we wanted was a room not a tent . We spent two nights far from the main house,a tent with floor covered with a straw map not rugs like the pictures describing in booking.that at night became so soaked and wet and cold .a radio that didn’t work, two hangers with two robes xsmall. No fire place but a stove just for showing but never used, no mirrors, no soap or water inside you have to go out side for bathroom and shower. A pool above ground with no safety fixtures no ladder to go down or side handles, the towels with fringes feels and looks like a kitchen mat . Quite challenging for us to walk in an uneven terrain to get to the big house we felt we were not part of it but isolated. The breakfast was served buffet style on top of the bar counter presented in small dishes not a big selection. Not enough staff , the tent was cleaned up around 3:45 pm. As for what I saw their main focus and priority was the group of people booking events for lunch and yoga events as for us we were left on the tent forgotten they were nobody around. The place is very expensive as for us it was not worth it. The stuff we not well trained, at the restaurant we ordered a steak it came to us cold as for the tiramisu didn’t look like tiramisu but a big mess.Laura stelter Very uncomfortable place for us .

- Maria (10/5): We had a fantastic stay to celebrate my BD. We will be back - The location, the interior design and the service were outstanding. It’s all in the details. Nothing
- Rebeca (10/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Super glamorous hideaway in the countryside. - Great location which is only about 20 minutes or so outside Santiago de Compostela. The bed in the yurt was enormous and the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Like floating on air! A large spacious tent and beautifully designed. We had a great welcome with a welcome drink and the staff were all super friendly. The design of the main house and bar restaurant was incredible with loads of art coffee table books and brightly coloured baskets. Dinner was excellent and delicious with locally produced wine. Loved the atmosphere of the place - like being on a film set with a cool playlist and beautiful vines growing around the yurts. We could hear an owl in the evening and birdsong in the morning. Just gorgeous! The bathrooms are separate from the yurts be prepared for a short walk to the loo if you need it in the night! Could have done with a small shelf next to the mirror/sink in the bathroom as there's no mirror in the yurt and I needed to balance hairbrush and make-up on the narrow edge of the sink.
- Bordeleau (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (10/5): Amazing. - Amazing grounds and room! Absolutely loved it. Amazing having a first class restaurant on site as there is nothing else nearby! Loved it all!
- Melanie (10/5): Truly unforgettable experience - This is a hidden gem in the Galician countryside that feels like a stay in a luxurious home, rather than a hotel. Originally a one-night stop for my birthday, I ended up staying for six days, captivated by the Michelin-star chef’s exceptional modern cuisine, phenomenal cocktails + wine list and the warm, personalized service—especially from Maria at the front desk. It’s a design afficianado’s dream, with exquisite attention to detail in every public space and each room. I moved from glamping in the yurts to the suites. Views over the vineyards were stunning. Hi-Fi sound is carefully curated throughout the property with a thoughtful soundtrack. This was a serene, elevated experience. Truly unforgettable.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esteban (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sotiris (7/5): Interesting - Interior details, landscaping, interesting and unique design. Small pool, lack of personnel , dinner just ok, breakfast good but not value for money
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maraval (10/5): A quiet and simple luxury place decorated with great taste. The venue is immersed in a beautifully designed garden with - A quiet and simple luxury place decorated with great taste. The venue is immersed in a beautifully designed garden with an exuberance of flowers and vines The yurts are fun but not too practical with almost no space to hold your clothes… and going to the toilets in the night can be a bit adventurous
- Aryn (10/5): BEAUTIFUL HOTEL inside and out, extremely friendly, accommodating staff, make you feel like royalty! - We felt so pampered and welcomed at Casa Beatnik! The staff here are the absolute BEST! Everyone made us feel like queens! They welcomed us with a beverage, took our luggage to our room for us, served us poolside - it was truly awesome! They know how to do luxury! We stayed here as our "treat" after completing the Camino de Santiago, and boy was it a treat! The grounds are GORGEOUS! Grapevine covered walking paths, gardenias along the paths to make it smell delightful, an outdoor yoga area, a gorgeous pool area, with lounging beds for pool-goers, a sauna available for hotel guests, two beautiful indoor lounge areas, several outdoor seating areas, a poolside complete bar... the list goes on and on! I just can't say enough good things about Casa Beatnik!
*And bonus - the owners happened to be in town staying there, so we met them and they made a point to visit with us and make sure we were happy with our stay and made us feel very at-home and welcomed! Nothing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and have nothing negative to say about our experience!
- Francesca (10/5): Wonderful , highly recommended - Everything
Amazing beautiful hotel
Grounds, garden and vineyard stunning
Decoration / attention to detail second to none
Food and service amazing
Then you have the pool , sauna …
Lovely one night stop to escape the hustle and bustle of Santiago . With a pool and sauna to relax with and a little detox
We stayed in a yurt , such a great experience
- Alfredo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (10/5): A very special place! - I travel a lot and this is far and away my favorite place I ever stayed. The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed in every way from the furniture, the artwork, the linens, all the way down to the most minute detail. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The grounds are gorgeous with many amenities such as pool, sauna, gym, meditation area etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious and offered unique cuisine sourced from local ingredients. The staff was exceptional and helpful, especially Maria at reception who was just wonderful to us the whole 3 nights we were there. I cannot recommend Casa Beatnik highly enough and will definitely plan another stay in this beautiful corner of Galicia. Just wish there were fridges in the rooms.
- Simon (10/5): A wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting - Fantastic design. Excellent customer service
- David (10/5): Not to be missed. This rare gem bring together all the elements of a 5 star boutique hotel. - An absolute gem if you like waking up to the sweet sound of birdsong, long and peaceful views over the countryside, excellent food and well made cocktails, along with a sublime design aesthetic and delightful staff. We were blown away! I seriously cannot fault anything from our entire three day stay.
- Luiza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Very unique and fun environment - Ultra hip and cool It’s a way from Santiago.
- Vivien (10/5): Absolutely beautiful property with friendly & helpful staff. -
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - I really loved staying in one of their yurts. The yurt was very comfortable and clean. They really make sure every person feels heard and is satisfied. The premises is beautiful with the vineyard, swimming pool and views. The food at the restaurant was very tasty as well. I'll be back! It was pretty far away from anything, but since they have everything on the premises it was not a problem.
- John (10/5): A fantstic break from reality - I would definately go back. - beautiful hotel, friendly staff, delicious food.
Glen the waitress was so helpful and great fun, Albaro the sommelier did a wine tasting session with us by the fire and was amazing. We loved his approach and really enjoyed the time we spent with him.
- Mercedes (10/5): Exotic, romantic, unique where they make you feel so special without stuffy pretentiousness. - The Moroccan theme was pleasantly unexpected. We had not done a great deal of research. Every aspect of the hotel and staff was exceedingly perfect. Their breakfast was based on the Spice Road with beautiful, fresh and unusual dishes. The grounds were so beautiful with grape vineyards, intimate and perfectly groomed pool area, saunas and sitting areas overlooking the valley below. The staff (George? all!!!) went our of their way to assist with restaurants, transportation and any advice we sought. I could go on and on about what a lovely experience we had. One thing I missed was having a refrigerator in the room as I use medication that requires refrigeration. However, the staff kept it refrigerated for me and I could have access anytime.
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bader (10/5): Fantastic - Everything everything accept the location is far from city and facility. It’s nice to be there for very relaxing time
- Alexandre (7/5): Good - The surrounding idilic environment. The room, though a "queen suit" was extremely small with very poor lugagge organisation. Poor acoustics insulation. Very expensive!
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Decor, food, gardens Loud piped music
Lack of storage in the bedroom
- Pia (10/5): Gorgeous ..perfect place to unwind after a day spent in Santiago de Compostelaa - The whole experience was amazing ...the rooms were gorgeous the decoration and the styling were beautiful ...the food was delicious and the staff were all fabulous ...absolutely loved the hotel ..great fun ..would definitely recommend and stay there again !
- Laura (10/5): A very special place to stay. Highly recommend! - Wonderful place! Beautifully designed boutique hotel and the pool area is very special. Fantastic interiors. Great bedrooms/suites and bathrooms with extremely comfy beds. Attention to every detail everywhere! Easy access to Santiago, only 20 mins away. We will be going back for sure!
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (10/5): Amazing stay in a beautiful place - All-round fantastic experience. Fantastic hospitality from a friendly and attentive team, excellent food, great facilities (especially the swimming pool) in a lovely setting. Thank you to everyone who looked after us so well We decided to upgrade from the yurt upon arrival. It shares toilet facilities with other yurts and is an outdoor walk away from the yurt. Given the small price to upgrade to a Small Suite (which is not very small!) this was a no brainer for us
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Begona (10/5): Exceptional - Deco , food service etc
- Olaf (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aranka (9/5): Trendy & Cozy - Great location and lovely hotel located in the vinyards.
- Edgars (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carly (9/5): Superb - Wonderful location, beautiful buildings and interiors. The food was excellent and there was a good amount of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was particularly beautiful and well equipped. Our yurt was spacious and well designed; the king size bed was a nice surprise! Wonderfully relaxing in the sunshine amongst the vines. No mirror in the yurt. No snacks for around the pool, and sometimes the portion sizes were small, but the food was delicious.
- Koegen (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing staff, lovely grounds and the food was best in Spain
- Jo (9/5): Unique property. Amazing design, super comfortable. Loved it. - Exceptionally unique property. Beautiful design. Lovely setting and very comfortable. The party atmosphere. . We were there with family and just wanted to relax. There was a couple of groups partying. Would have preferred a big more peace!!
- Dina (9/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful location with lovely staff - The interiors and the different spaces to relax, read a book both in the hotel and on the grounds. The pool area amongst the vines was the perfect spot to relax and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Perfect spot to relax. Food was good but could have been a little tastier with a few simpler menu options for those less adventurous on the foodie front. Would have been good to have a fridge in the room to keep the drinks cool.
- Laura (10/5): If you are looking for a peaceful, sophisticated, stylish., relaxed, - Pretty much everything. Perfect for a break for a few days - close to Santiago or beach for day trips out. Perfect for amazing food and friendly, professional service - and relaxation. Lovely vibe, incredible decor - attention to detail with design is second to none - healthy and beautiful plants everywhere - although not far from a road it’s quiet and peaceful - the yurts were wonderful to stay in - would come here alone or with friends, even a few days to work and chill. Highly recommend. Nothing.
- Kylie (10/5): Beautiful hotel and vineyard. - Beautiful property, everything has been finished to perfection. Our yurt as lovely and set in the gorgeous vineyard and gardens. Great location close to Santiago airport and super friendly staff. Some extra vegetarian options would be great! Even if just simple things like salads, fries, sandwiches.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - The dinner we had was fantastic.
The staff are so nice and very helpful.
The grounds are first class. The attention to detail makes even better.
Really cool little place. Really good vibe for the entire stay.
Nice place, good people great food.
- Antoniocardosojr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (9/5): Perfect staging point on the Camino - beautiful hotel in an idyllic location overall I was very happy with my stay. if I am being very picky, then I would say the food is expensive and I would like water in the room. but would I stay here again? Absolutely!
- Edmundo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Norton (10/5): We were treated like family by the amazing team at Casa Beatnik. - Amazing renovation of a traditional Galician country house. We loved the colors and all the details that went into the design concept.
