• Jade (10/5): The perfect place for a family vacation would definitely stay there again! - It was just perfect for a family It was loud on a Saturday and Sunday and bright in the mornings(kids woke very early)

• Bass (1/5): Disgusting apartment - Location Over priced nearly 9k very dirty and smelly the drains in the shower were putrid nearly vomited staff at Q stay are very unprofessional was definitely not worth the money we spent staff didn’t even care
• Erika (7/5): Great for a weekend away - Great central location for a weekend on the Coast. Everything is walking distance away - shops, cafes, grocery store, beach! The apartment itself is split into two apartments - one with a King bed + ensuite, and then another with 4 single beds across 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen/dining area. Parking is a little difficult to locate if you’re not familiar with the area. The batteries in 2 out of 4 of our fan remotes were dead and could not be turned on, which was unpleasant to walk into. The intercom for visitor parking also only works in one room, which made it difficult to let other guests arriving later in. The QStay staff were not very helpful with regard to parking also, but the Chevron security were.

• Brendan (7/5): Very good spot with everything close by. - Great space for relaxing, awesome view and the kids loved the pool. The bin chutes stink out the levels, our couch was very unclean.

Would definitely book again. - Location was great with an easy walk to the beach but also with a carpark for those trips to the theme parks and harbourtown for shopping. No instructions for recycling. Bathrooms in the shared areas (pools) not clean and not working. Smell of hot trash.
• Andrew (5/5): Not like pictures! - Location The staff were very average (well the last we dealt with on every occasion) not very helpful or polite….Only 1 car space for a 3bedroom apartment (2 families travelling in 2cars- don’t ask staff the process cause it’s a nightmare to get help!), scan keys didn’t work, light switches broken in most bedrooms & not working in room (safety hazard), toilet roll holders were useless & need replacing, shower water runs out of shower even with quick showers, poorly kitted out kitchen especially utensils, couch inside & outdoor furniture very dated & damaged - needs upgrading (not comfortable & not like pictures!), needs heavy block out curtain as morning light at 5am isn’t fun on holidays even with supposed block out blinds, And don’t get me started on leaving/checking out before office hours open - the process was ridiculous, keys should be put in a lock box not their silly process of having to park car outside & take keys back up to room - crazy! Even with the discounted price it was overpriced for the quality of the apartment - disappointed stay!

• Donna (10/5): The bar has been set 😍😍 A+++++++++ - Our family has decided that the Chevron Renaissance has set the bar for any of our future getawayas. A+++++ The location and the stunning sea views were everything! 😍😍 We parked our car in the free parking included with our stay, and didn't need to move it once during our entire stay, as everything was within walking distance - the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, retail stores, and activities. The room had everything that we needed & wanted. No housekeeping was included in our stay, however there was a washer + dryer so we could clean our towels, and obviously the Cole's supermarket right below meant that we could stock up on extra toilet paper, laundry powder, and necessities. Our room was modern and stylish, had a balcony off of every bedroom, a TV in the master and kids rooms, had comfy beds & pillows, lovely bathrooms, incredible showers, and was everything that we wanted for our mini holiday. The kids took a small dip in the lagoon which looked amazing, but because of the chillier weather loved the heated indoor pool & spa, and I was thankful for the female only sauna accessible via the female toilets. We would highly recommend staying here at the towers of Chevron, and we will definitely be looking nowhere else for any future stays in the Gold Coast.

• Winnie (6/5): A frustrating stay with hidden fees, rude management, and inadequate amenities. - Fantastic location—close to attractions yet peaceful The property manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating. They demanded an additional fee for checking in after 6 PM, which was never mentioned in the listing. To make matters worse, they only provided one roll of toilet paper for the entire stay, regardless of the length, and charged extra if more was needed. This level of inconvenience and hidden fees made the stay frustrating. I would not recommend this property.
• Kayla (1/5): Absolutely would not reccomend. If you are going to book here. Go through the hotel itself. - The size was amazing. Location was perfect. Plenty of space and room. The photos do not do justice. My partner has videos on his phone. But will never stay here again. We are not a family with a lot of money. We saved up a lot to treat ourselves to a nice accomodation. However there was schoolies just before us. The sinks were full of water. Floors were insanely sticky. Stains everywhere. Broken chairs and furniture. Mustard on the roof. I rang and was very upset and stressed we had babies and elderly with us. Basically it was wear and tear they didn’t think it should have included any compensation. Not to mention the windows all leaked so the rain days flooded the kitchen. Which surprised me for a penthouse. We moved the rugs when cleaning and noticed no one bothers to clean under those. The property was very dirty. They said it wasn’t there fault there was schoolies before us and they only allowed 4 hours to clean. Why only 4 hours when you have a bunch of kids partying and than a family straight after. The carpets were the worse. They were sticky and dirty. My little one is crawling and she would be black from being on the floor. We all had to wear shoes inside. I was rude to reception after them not listening or seeming to care about how devestated we were. I later apologised. But no one came to clean or fix anything and also we didn’t have aircon in the main lounge and 2 of the bed rooms.

• Joonghyuk (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - Deceptive Practices & Health Hazards - - Good location - Nice view from level 45 Premium-Priced Sub Penthouse ($750/night) with Unacceptable Conditions: - Severe cockroach infestation discovered first evening - Multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues found upon arrival - Stains across walls and ceilings - Unhygienic conditions (sticky floors, old chewing gum left behind) Management's Deceptive Conduct: 1. Called emergency contact upon discovering cockroaches - told to wait until morning 2. Morning office visit: Refused refund, citing manager's absence 3. Hours later, suddenly called demanding immediate vacating for pest control 4. Promised refund for unused nights to force urgent departure 5. Required to cancel ongoing plans and relocate with minimal notice 6. After compliance, completely denied the promised refund 7. Reduced their offer to merely $100 compensation for a $2,250 booking WARNING: This appears to be a pattern of deceptive conduct - promising refunds to secure immediate departures, then denying those promises. This matter is currently being investigated by NSW and QLD Fair Trading authorities, and has been reported to ACCC. DO NOT: - Book this property - Accept their verbal promises - Allow them to pressure you into vacating This is not just about poor conditions - it's about potentially fraudulent business practices. Save yourself the stress and money - book elsewhere.

• Kelly (8/5): Great location, awesome views but needs a bit of updating/cleaning - The views were fantastic. The size of the apartment was excellent and laid out well. Parking included which was good. The fold out bed which doubles as a seat was quite dirty and marked, this should be cleaned. The apartment door was very hard to shut and had to be slammed each time to shut it which wakes everyone around you. We went to go to the pool and one of them closed at 10pm. The security man yelled out ‘were shut’ and we had to leave. The check in station was quite a distance from the actual apartments, we were told we could leave the keys in the bench to check out. We did that and left the parking FOB there also only to find we actually had to use the fob to exit the car park then we still would have to drop it back to the check in, we had to ring security to let us out. There needs to be a better system to depart or something closer. One shower had 2 x shampoos and body wash but no conditioner. We didn’t want to bother check in to fix this. 3pm check in is a bit late then you had to be out by 10am the next day.
