We have stayed here previously and we were let down :( - We really loved the location and the aesthetic of the decor is stunning and it was very private, quiet & peaceful We stayed here to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday, and when this house was listed on Airbnb a few years ago we stayed here and really loved it! Unfortunately, this time, we were somewhat disappointed as it didn’t live up to our previous experience. A few details that made a difference: the fairy lights outside didn’t work, and there was no wine on arrival like last time, which was a nice touch we had appreciated before. Netflix and Stan weren’t working, and the ceiling fan was noticeably dusty. Small essentials were missing, such as body wash, tissues, and even milk in the fridge, which had been provided before. The coffee machine wasn’t functional as it only made cold milk when we wanted it hot, and the shower leaked. We also noticed that the hammock was no longer there, which was a shame as it was a highlight of our last stay. After noticing these things were not restocked we noticed that the cleaning products were stored right near food products which just put a horrible taste in our mouths AND there was a variety of things that had expired.... and I'm not talking recently... I'm talking like 2-3 years ago they expired?! While the location is still beautiful and we love the overall aesthetic, the lack of attention to these details made it feel less special this time especially because overall it was twice the price for the exact same length of time (3 nights) Hopefully, these small issues can be addressed for future guests, as this place has the potential to be amazing again.
