Sarah (9/5): Superbe weekend - Le cadre est idyllique 😍 Nature et tranquillité sont au rendez-vous, à la hauteur de ce qui est annoncé. Stijn est un hôte très sympathique qui répond très rapidement.
Karla (6/5): De tuin en omgeving maakten het goed - Een prachtig plekje in een natuurgebied. Grote afgeschermde tuin waar onze hond zich prima kon vermaken. De tuin heeft verschillende zithoekjes zodat je altijd wel een geschikt plekje vindt om lekker te genieten van het mooie weer. De eigenaren hebben een restaurant in de buurt waar je prima kan eten. De keuken in de chalet heeft haar beste tijd wel gehad, denk hierbij dan aan de vaatwasser die niet echt meer goed reinigde, de koelkast waar de diepvries steeds wat water lekt en er schappen ontbreken. De kussens op de bedden zijn ook aan vervanging toe. Wat miste in de beschrijving is dat de chalet gebruik maakt van grondwater wat daardoor een zeer sterke geur heeft en een wat bruine kleur. Voor iemand met zelfs een milde vorm van smetvrees is het geen aanrader.
Ludmila (10/5): Amazing place 10/10 - The place has a great atmosphere, the view is absolutely picturesque and it is very quiet and cosy. With some better weather it would have been even greater, as there are lots of outside places to sit and enjoy. The host was very welcoming and friendly.
Victoria (10/5): Well worth the effort of driving from the North of England for. - The location was good, the chalet was exactly as stated and an interesting building. We had plenty of space and everything we needed for cooking and eating, including a bottle of Cava in the fridge 👍🏾 (which was a lovely gift) The heating made the chalet was very warm, most welcome in January. We could go out of the door and walk by the river, along the lanes. There was little traffic. Our host Ivan was very helpful and gave us tips on where to walk. Any questions we had, I could text to him and he replied immediately, we had a problem with the hot water and he came within 10 mins to fix it. Which reduced our stress levels. The area is interesting, and although not on a main road it was easy to find, we drove from Calais and it was a very simple journey. We went for a specific event, but this would be an area we would consider returning to and definitely to the Chalet . 😊 Nothing
