• Ruby (10/5): - I loved this hotel. It was so cute and clean. All the necessities that are needed. The bed was amazing. They have a morning breakfast that was very good. Over the top. Anything you could want. The people that work there are very friendly. Makes you feel like family. Location is great. I didn't want to stay in the Old Quarter. But wanted to be close. Straight down the street about 5 or 6 blocks you get to the old Quarter. Then a little farther and you are at Hoan Kiem Lake. Everything is about a 15 or 20 minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Btw, I am always the person that reads the bad reviews first and then the best and never believes the 5 star reviews. It is exactly what I was hoping all of my hotels this month will be like. So far the only one out of the first 4.

• Marc (10/5): - I took the standard room and it was very clean and modern. It is very small and compact, you litterally open the door into the bedroom and there is another door for bathroom. It was very hot when I was there, the A/C wasn't very strong but with the fan on, I could sleep well. The door key is also used to power the room and this is common in many places. So during the day, the room got hot and the fridge, warm. It takes about 20 min for the room to cool down once you put the power back on since it is a small room. There was a power outage in the middle of the night so it got real hot, for about an hour while power was restored. I heard power outages are comon in Hanoi so not the hotel's fault. For the price and location, you can't go wrong. If you want your fridge and room to stay cool during the day, I was told (unfortunately only during checkout) that I could have asked for a second key.
• Megan (10/5): - Absolutely loved this hotel, the staff were super kind and friendly. It is within walking distance to the old town but I would say it is nicer to stay in the old town itself.

• My-Le (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast & a very walkable area with lots of stores selling green flaky rice cakes. The noisy construction is one downside but they moved me to another room for that so I was happy throughout my stay!

Every morning we were looking forward to breakfast, the choice was excellent, the cooked variety was always different and delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant from the front desk to the housekeeping.it is absolutely spotless. We had good laughs with the breakfast crew, especially with Trinh,Ngoc,Bin and who could forget Eric and his special coffee!! Also a mention to the chefs behind the scenes,your food was amazing thank you. To any travellers to Hanoi, this is a beautiful little gem and I highly recommend you visit this beautiful Hotel. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Good location for less touristy coffee shops, places to eat, and super easy to walk to old town and West lake etc. We were on a high floor so was quite quiet. Staff very helpful and sorted us out with sim cards. Breakfast was mainly western food

• Chi (10/5): - Lestar may be a 3-star hotel but its staff and service are truly 5 stars! Jenny, Mia and colleagues went above and beyond to make our Hanoi stay a wonderful experience. They helped to organise our itinerary for Sapa and day trips to the surrounding region. Communication is excellent, genuine care was shown for guests comfort. The best part of the hotel is the people. Additionally, breakfast on the rooftop was stellar with a stunning view across the city. During our 6-week trip to Japan and Vietnam, we have stayed at a number of 5-star accommodations and Lestar is up there, a gem we were happy to have stumbled upon for a fraction of the price we paid at other places. Highly recommend for an authentic and local stay in the Old Quarter! Loved it, Chi and Helen
• SACHIKO (10/5): - お部屋は清潔で、ゆったりできました。朝食ビュッフェも美味しく、卵料理かスープを作ってくれます。1日目はオムレツ、2日目はフォーをリクエストしました。どちらも美味しかったです。スタッフも優しくて、早朝のチェックアウトの際、サンドイッチを持たせてくれました。タクシーも手配してもらい、安心して出発できました。シャワーの水圧が弱めですが、安くてサービス満点なので、OKです！
• Untamed (10/5): - This hotel is such a gem!!! Everything is brand new and clean, super comfortable bed and pillows and the breakfast is delicious, with a good spread of choices. Nonetheless, the absolute best part of my stay was the staff. They are fantastic and really go above and beyond to help you have a wonderful stay. I traveled with my baby and they took turns to help me look after him so I could enjoy my breakfast in peace... everyone was kind and friendly. Can´t wait to be back.

The hotel was newly remodeled and everything is in pristine condition. I would say it was a little dusty due to the recent renovations but over time that will be resolved. I’ll be back!

Helped me with All The Excursions during my trip and on top of That arranged a private Limousine ride back to Hanoi International AirPort. 5 Stars all around. From opening the hotel doors by the bellman to the Breakfast Buffet in the 10th Floor. Spectacular is the word.

She’s an asset to any organization that she works for. The Breakfast on the 10th floor is Fantastic, great variety of fresh fruit and Pho of course, yes for breakfast.
• Stefan (10/5): Klasse Hotel nah der Altstadt - Sehr freundiches, sauberes und gut geführtes, kleineres Hotel fußläufig zur Altstadt. Bequemes Bett und tolles Frühstück mit viel Liebe und guter Auswahl im 10. Stock mit Aussicht. Ungeheuer freundliches Personal im ganzen Haus. Sehr zu empfehlen für Leute, die nicht direkt im Gewimmel der (teilweise sehr lauten) Altstadt wohnen wollen und 10 Minuten Fußweg in Kauf nehmen.

I liked the room and the bathroom designs. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of local and western options. Remember to try the noodle soup for breakfast! I liked the location, at walking distance from the mural street and from the train street. I like walking, and it was really nice walking to the Old Quarter. Alternatively, I also took Grab easily when I was in a hurry. I also appreciated that the hotel offered a one-pager with tips about Hanoi, like: the art of crossing the street. I would definitely return at Lestar Hotel Hanoi. Highly recommendable.
