• Paivi (9/5): - Quint little street in the quite and cute little house. Good bed. The breakfast was a typical local breakfast and there was enough food. It was a bit hard to find. You can park on the street close-by but beware that in the morning the streets becomes busy and you need to move your car.
• Carmen kimpton (10/5): I highly recommend this guesthouse as its in the centre and what a generous host 👏 - The host was very helpful and gave me directions how to go to her place from the bus terminal. Breakfast was the best one since I been in Albania, she also gave me a packed breakfast as I had to leave early. Everything was excellent

Nous ne sommes pas avisés de devoir payer en cash. Nous sommes avisés le jour de l’arrivée et nous ne pouvons pas payer par booking. Seulement peut vite nous mettre dan la galère si pas assez de cash.

• Mark (8/5): - Clean, great location, the ladies, Soni and Ola, communicated very effectively via whatsapp, including sending a video of how to find the front door. Location was close to shops, restaurants etc. Pro tip- if you are arriving in Berat by bus...the bus terminal is 2.5k out of town. You can take a taxi to old Town for 1000 lek or if you wait a bit the local bus will drop you in the same place (by the tourist office in town center) it runs every 25 minutes and is only 30 lek A little rustic but still very comfortable. Stairs would be tough for elderly guests with luggage. Otherwise all good.

• Kristina (10/5): Отличное месторасположение, отзывчивый и внимательный персонал, рекомендую к посещению - Отзывчивый персонал, всегда были на связи, заботятся о своих гостях, номер был готов раньше времени заселения, а также разрешили оставить вещи после выселения. Отличный завтрак, который входил в стоимость. В номере было чисто. Soni была так добра, что сама предложила и отвезла нас с детьми на автовокзал.

• Laure (9/5): Super séjour - L’appartement est bien placé, et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Nous y avons passé une bonne nuit. L’hôte est adorable et très disponible. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner fait maison.
• Natalie (9/5): - Die Besitzerin war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer sofort geantwortet, um den Eingang zu finden kann man ihr einfach schreiben, dann schickt sie eine gute Anleitung. Essbereich teilt man sich mit einem anderen Zimmer, was aber total nett ist um etwas mit anderen Reisenden zu quatschen (sein eigenes Zimmer mit privatem Bad kann man absperren). Frühstück war auch sehr liebevoll und reichlich (Obst, Milchreis, albanische Bauernkrapfen, Joghurt, Marmelade). Lage war top, nur 5 min zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Klimaanlage hat um Heizen gut funktioniert, Wasser war warm. Ein paar Haken im Bad und Schlafzimmer wären noch super, damit man seine Handtücher aufhängen kann und eine etwas kleinere Lampe am Nachttisch, damit man nicht immer das große Licht an lassen muss, sonst alles perfekt!

• Benoît (7/5): la ville de berat est belle bon restaurent le logement est situé en plein centre - le petit déjeunée est copieux la chambre est grande la ville de berat est belle il ya deux chambre et une cuisine partagée La chambre et en plein centre de Berat facile accès aussi restaurent , café petit commerce pas loin on est rapidement au au village en pente et au chateau information la propriétaire indique par une video ou ce trouve l'accès a la location car c'est difficile de trouvée l'entrée elle est en arrière cours d'un petit chemin devant il y a une porte bleu a gauche en montant pour ce garée il y un parking a 100 mètre plus haut et en pavée ou caillou un volet est a réparée. il faut savoir quand il y a du monde, il ni a plus eau chaude

• Tülay Ülkü (10/5): - Konumu ve temizliği çok iyiydi, kahvaltı da çok güzeldi. Sorunsuz bir konaklama geçirdik. Berat harika bir şehir, konaklama için de burası güzel bir seçenek. Duş alırken duş alanının dışındaki zemine su akıyor, bu sorunu gidermeleri gerek.

• Yasin (10/5): Very close to the city centre, clean and very decent place to stay. - The host was amazingly kind and helpful. I was surprised to see that there was a bottle of raki in the kitchen as a treat for guests. This is an old traditional house, but the host had used every inch cleverly. We had the breakfast option and I was amazed by how silent they could be while preparing the breakfast for the guests. Breakfast was also very good, they provided the local food options.

• CHENG (10/5): - This is the best hotel we stayed at in Europe, without a doubt. Great location, very clean, and the beach and sea are crystal clear. It was our last day in the country and we had almost no cash left, but they kindly supported card payment and offered great help. The host was incredibly kind and made our final night in the city truly wonderful.

• Zhao (10/5): 完美住宿 - 非常棒的住宿，环境舒适，很宽敞，空调很给力，房间布置也很有特色。离古镇很近，步行三五分钟即到小镇中心，步行二三十分钟即可到城堡山顶，离景点很近，都步行可达。早餐很美味。最重要的是老板人很好，和她对话如沐春风，当我离开的时候，老板还帮我叫了一个去地拉那的出租车，虽然是和其他人一起共享，但非常方便，而且只需要10美元。 没有

Aswell it was possible to book the tour with Naku for the Grand Canyon, who even lend me watershoes to do the waterhike and had a lot if humour! I only recommend!

• Okke (10/5): Warm Hospitality in the Heart of Berat - We had a lovely stay at Guest House Kroi. Everything was well taken care of—the room was clean, the atmosphere peaceful, and the hostess incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is ideal: just a short walk from the old town, yet quiet and relaxed. The breakfast was excellent and very generous (just check the photo!). A perfect way to start the day. It took us a moment to find the entrance, but as soon as the host noticed us, she came out to greet and guide us personally, which was very thoughtful and helpful. What surprised us most: the price/quality ratio is exceptional. Honestly, they could easily charge €35 per night or more for this level of comfort and service. All in all, a charming and well-run guesthouse with great value for money. Highly recommended!

She contacted us by WhatsApp to inform that the room was ready before time. There is air conditioner and a smart TV. The breakfast was generous and delicious!

Breakfast was waiting for us from 8am - a bit too sweet but that’s personal taste, there was also fruit and yogurt. We’d be happy to stay again.

• Jugoslava (10/5): Great value for the money, worth visiting - We had a great experience with our accommodation and with our hosts in Guesthouse Kroi City Center . First of all, people are very welcoming and helpful, the room was cosy and exceptionally clean and the location is in the city center, with a place to put a car and within a walking distance from the main square in Berat. We loved the home made breakfast and there was fresh picked flowers in the room. It is a quiet neighborhood and a good nights rest is guaranteed. We are satisfied and we plan to visit again. It's not their fault bit the approach to the premises is, however, a bit deterring, through an unpaved road, probably tricky to walk when it rains.

The host was incredibly helpful, pre-arrival information, nice breakfast and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again in the summer. We liked everything and the only potential problem is finding the entrance as it does not front the road. The charming neighbour helped us locate it so suggest not arriving in the dark.

• Judith (10/5): Well located guesthouse run by two sisters - This delightful guesthouse has an excellent location in the center of Berat and is run by two sisters who take very good care of the place. They serve a nice daily breakfast that offers guests a chance to enjoy some of the local traditional specialties. And a full bowl of fruit and a pitcher of raki are on the kitchen counter for those who want a snack or would like to try the local alcohol. It was a bit difficult to find the place in the beginning, so it would be nice if there were a sign. But it really wasn't a problem, because we called the host, who lives just around the corner, and she came right away.
