- Lisa (9/5): Home away from home - Whoa this place felt like home away from home! Such a beautiful apartment. We highly enjoyed our stay. The pool is very close and has an awesome hidden spa! The apartment has everything you need, past complaints don't reflect the current environment as there was soap and chopping boards etc. It was the middle of summer and we didn't even need to turn the air-cons on while we were there as the apartment stayed cool! The owners messaged in the morning with instructions to get in. There are two large balconies off each room to enjoy the tropical views. No where is perfect, but there is nothing worth complaining about.
- Taija (10/5): - Clean and spacious apartment with friendly and helpful owner.
- saori (5/5): - Location, pool and the lady at the reception was very nice. Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but even at 3:35 PM the room had not been cleaned yet.
I contacted the host, but was told it was a miscommunication with the cleaner and was casually told, “at least you can use the pool.” The host did not seem apologetic about the situation.
The cleaner finally arrived at 4:15 PM and said it would take another 40 minutes. As a result, we were not able to enter the room until 5:00 PM.
This was a one-night family getaway, and we had to check out by 10:00 AM the next morning. Losing almost two hours of our stay was disappointing.
If guests cancel due to their own circumstances, they are charged a cancellation fee. However, when the host fails to have the room ready at the promised check-in time, there seems to be no penalty on the host’s side. I find this very unfair.
- Jessica (10/5): Great property in great location - Spacious property with all needed amenities including A/C and ceiling fans.
Access was easy with the lockbox.
Location is a short drive to Port Douglas itself.
Will definitely come back next time I'm in Port Douglas. Nothing

- Caroline (7/5): Nice, convenient, helpful - the keys were in a lock box in the carport, easy to find and access. After the cleaner had been during our stay, the lock box was damaged, and we found it hard to use it. This was reported to the host.
Pillows on arrival were horrible, dead, stained and no pillow protectors. This was also reported to the host, and the host rectified this immediately. The location was good, nice and close, but not too close to town. Cleaning was not great. This was reported to the host, and I felt like I was dismissed for trying to inform them when they do not live close by to inspect themselves. Other than that good stay did what we need it to do, loads of AC to keep you cool, washing machine and cleaning tools available etc
- Jade (7/5): Fun with the fam! - The pool was amazing for the kids, air con was nice and cool! The pool was quite dirty, the surrounds could be maintained better. A good chopping board is needed in kitchen!
- Rebecca (8/5): - Lovely accom The listing mentions private pool. It dosent have one there is one in the resort. But this wouldn't stop us from staying again.
- Michelle (9/5): - Breakfast was delishous
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Evans (8/5): Port Douglas a lovely place to stay - Only pool for resort facilities, restaurant and bar closed

- Helen (9/5): Good value property in a quiet resort with a great pool. - We loved how close we were to the pool, which was excellent. Not too busy. Great pizzas and cocktails delivered to your sun lounger!
The property was perfect for our needs, with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. And while some of the furniture may need an update, it was clean and the aircon and ceiling fans worked really well.
Centre of port Douglas is only a 5 minute drive away.
Owner was always quick to respond to questions. Very helpful. All furniture needs updating as it’s looking a bit tired. Bit of a musty smell when first entering the property due to humidity. Internet not the best.
Downstairs toilet refilling needs looking at.
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Elenkov (4/5): Good for a short stay - We did like the pool and access to the pool was easy.
We liked that there was a second bathroom/toilet downstairs.
We liked having a kitchen with full size fridge.
We liked that there was access to WIFI.
We liked that there was under cover parking available at the front of the property. Didn't like the linen, it was too heavy for summer period.
There were no basic toiletries in bathrooms, even though it was stated that was not included, it was not good enough, it wouldn't cost much to have a bar of soap in the shower and handwash available for going to the toilet.
The laundry facilities were unusable, there was no washing machine powder or liquid, and no hand washing was possible as the plug in the basin was aged and would not seal.
The couch looked dirty and hasn't had a deep clean for a while.
The crockery was not a set, lots of odd pieces, some plates had chips.
The outdoor seating had bird poo and could not be used.
The TV, toaster, curtains should be updated.
The small attention to details were lacking, including poor painting, little to no power sockets in the bedrooms, old condments not thrown out, it had not cleaned behind the bed side tables, TV cabinet bowing severely with just the weight of the TV.
- Rainer (7/5): Convenient for a family stay. - Excellent location, close to the Four Mile beach of Port Douglas. Although it is an elderly building, it is well maintained and was clean. It also has two balconies and two bathrooms which is convenient, when you stay with a family. There is a restaurant on site of the resort. The tumble dryer was not working and could not be fixed during the whole stay. But we negotiated an agreeable compensation. Unfortunately, the house has no flyscreens at all, which is very inconvenient in the tropical climate. The pool of the resort was not well maintained and there is no BBQ area.
- Sandra (8/5): Nice villa a short drive from town - Well appointed and spotlessly clean. The lagoon pool was spectacular. There we no fly screens on the windows so we had to use the aircon on "dry" the entire time we were there. While the villa did not get too hot, the lack of natural ventilation made the rooms stuffy.
- Pam (8/5): Very good -
