- Radoslaw (1/5): Scam- avoid - Booked the place 6months prior to arrival, paid upfront, when arrived ready to check in i phoned the number provided and was told my reservation was cancelled months ago as they don’t do short term bookings… so had to find another place to stay and now I’m having to chase for a refund Nothing as i wasn’t in it
- Racman49 (1/5): ln one word -DONT BOOK HERE - The beds were comfortable and location to O2 and The Excel Centre was really good. On Booking.com, the flat number was 35, turned out that was an "error" and it was really 37! We asked for and it was confirmed check in at 14.00. After several phone texts, whatsapps and calls, we eventually got in at 15.30. Keysafe was NOT where originally advised. The kitchen area was DIRTY and ant infested (photos and video available). The fridge was dirty inside and out, the cooker and oven not much better. Microwave seems to have suffered a food explosion, there was debris everywhere. The booking was for 3, as stated in original booking, but strangely enough, there was only enough cutlery for 2, as the amount of towels laid out - 2! There were 3 lovely big TV's in the property, none were tuned into normal terrestial TV, ITC, BBC, etc. Likewise, 4 clocks, none were ticking? The main bedroom window frame was smashed not allowing the window to close properly, none of the blinds were working, the curtain rod in the second bedroom was just sitting on the wall hanger and fell on my wife's head when she pulled the curtain. The bathroom had black mould in between some of the tiles and the toilet flush buttons were so hard to press, my daughter could not flush the toilet on her own. Update on 31/05/2024. We made a complaint regarding the property and asked for a refund or compensation for the abysmal conditions we experienced there. The property owners/agents refused to communicate with Booking.com and therefore we did not receive any refunds from them. Booking.com awarded then us the paltry sum of £76.50!!! BEWARE! Nobody is safe and nobody is willing to go the extra mile to help. After all that has happened, the property is still being advertised on the website. Stay clear!!!!!!
