• Magdalen (8/5): A beautiful retreat on the edge of the world. - Stunning location. The Egyptian North Coast I remember from my childhood: remote, undeveloped, beautiful, authentic. Free of the horrendous overbuilt gated communities of El Alamein. The simplicity. It allowed the beauty of the location to speak for itself. The Bedouin man who fed us and cared for us was so kind and helpful.
• Guest (10/5): - Das Caves Camp war für uns eines der großen Highlights unserer nun schon fünf Wochen dauernden Reise. Die Anreise ist unkompliziert: Vom Agiba-Strand fährt man mit dem Taxi in etwa 30 Minuten direkt zum Camp. Sie können sogar ein Taxi für dich organisieren. Dort angekommen, erwartet einen eine friedliche Idylle – das tiefblaue Wasser und der endlose Himmel sind einfach überwältigend. Ganz besonders haben die Menschen, die im Camp arbeiten, unseren Aufenthalt zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis gemacht. Kulinarisch war es ein Genuss – die beste Linsensuppe meines Lebens und ein Tee, der ebenso außergewöhnlich schmeckte. Wer möchte, kann sich in der vorhandenen Küche auch selbst etwas zubereiten. Die Betten aus Palmholz sind nicht nur originell, sondern auch ausgesprochen gemütlich. Wir blieben drei Nächte im Camp und hätten problemlos noch länger bleiben können – so schön war es. Wir sind dann vom Camp bis nach Ageeba Beach gefahren worden, wo wir dann mit Minibus wieder nach Marsa Matrouh gelangt sind. Es ist also möglich auch ohne Auto anzureisen. Mit Amr, dem Koordinator konnten wir uns jederzeit austauschen (auf englisch), wenn etwas unklar war oder wir etwas benötigten, er hat immer sehr rasch geantwortet. Das war sehr hilfreich.

• Norwigy (10/5): An escape - It was a fantastic place to escape the chaos. Very clam and I enjoyed my stay so much.. while it gives the camping feeling experience. It also provides a clean toilet and comfortable sleep.. Nothing. Everything was better than expected
