• Bergen (10/5): Great stay for something away from downtownbut a short drive to family activities and shopping! - The concierge at the desk gave us an upgrade on arrival!! (Probably to help us avoid the hockey tournament crowd) Free warm cookies & offered water bottles. We got a large suite with a full kitchen, 2nd bath & tv!! Hot tub was working but the pool was busy with hockey kids. Breakfast in the morning was free with our booking. The hot breakfast was a full hot buffet. The server at Blake's restaurant was so fun and attentive we had a great time! The beds were more soft than I am used to, since I like a very firm bed.. the pillows were very thin.. but overall the blankets and bedding made up for it.

Not worth to pay extra to be right where construction was. Pillows are nice but way to big. They hurt the neck. With a double king upgrade microwave should be included in room. Parking was to pricey. With the price of hotels now they should be at a much lower rate. I think $30 a day was a bit much. I would have found $30 a day reasonable for both days

Hot cookies and water upon check in was surprisingly a great service and there was more than one elevator, which is always great! The parking was across the road, and you have to drive around to get back to the hotel to put your luggage back into your car because it’s on a one way street.

Walls are very thin and we heard our neighbours clearly. Having to park in a public lot is ridiculous. Never been to a hotel without parking and charging for parking valet style.

I can't imagine someone taller to use the sink and counter. The staff also need to clean the grout on the tile... it's very dirty.

• Brenda (10/5): A great day and night at the hotel with a lovely meal and sleep! - The beds were very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep! We also ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. On this night there was only 1 staff member working at the time, and due to a concert in town, it actually became very busy all at once. He was run off his feet and did an amazing job! Excellent service with a smile despite the pace he was keeping. He was wonderful and very friendly. This was Sunday, October 26th, so the man working in the restaurant that night should be commended!! Nothing that I can mention.

• James (10/5): Perfect. Thank you - The front desk staff member started our day and he was wonderful. I told him we came to town to celebrate or upcoming 35th anniversary. He complemented us and said he had to upgrade our room. That was so unexpected but certainly meant a great deal to us. Then he gave us cookies… my favourite and water for the room. Next…. The young man that parked our truck was much the same. This young man was a gentleman and very respectful. They should get cookies and our gals a raise. ?? Both of these staff members certainly put a great impression. I needed another cookie. No just kidding. The property was lovely.

• Adam (5/5): Passable - The location and room layout were excellent. We had a one bedroom suite. The couch didn't pull out even though it says that it does, and in the kitchen, there we're not any dishes to eat or make anything. Kinda pointless of paying for a kitchen and not being able to use it.

• Wayne (10/5): Would definitely stay again - The location was great, the room was a decent size and clean the breakfast in the hotel was really nice. The staff were always helpful and the welcome cookie was amazing, it was still warm The only thing that I didn't like was the parking options. We had to pay $39.95 for valet parking which was a bit steep.

• Stephen (8/5): Nice hotel, raunchy neighborhood - Staff were great. Room was clean and quiet. All the amenities worked well. $40/day valet parking is the only option. Downtown London is an unappealing collection of homeless drug addicts and criminals. Not vibrant and invigorating, but rather the kind of place where you would rather NOT be on a vacation.

• Jami (3/5): Not worth the money. - The vale staff were excellent, the front t staff not so caring. We stayed for five days, there were tons of groups staying here, the pool was clean for the first few days and then it wasn’t, huge hair chunks and you can see the oils and stuff all over the bottom, i complained to the front that there are tons of kids using this and should be maintained. For the price we pay it was a little something extra to do. They didn’t clean it or keep the towels stoked up either. Very sad The room coffee cups had a build up of dust on them, hair and soap scum in the sink and bath tub. The windows had huge dust accumulation,the hallways were not vacuumed once during our stay, I just think they can do better for the fees they charge! It’s the little things that make the stay memorable. And this was very dirty

• Kelly (9/5): Front desk staff wonderful - The welcome cookies had nuts. With so many people having nut allergies, (myself included), this was alarming. At least this time, the front desk person asked if we had any allergies. The first time we stayed, they did not.
