Guest Reviews
- Candace (6/5): The property is very nice if you want to be secluded. I had a great time there. - The property was very spacious, clean and it was right on the beach. The beach had a lot of seaweed so it was not nice to sinn in. When we would return there were large bugs that would fly into the residence. The property was very far from the city St. John and other activities therefore the taxi rides were very expensive. It would be best to rent a car.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Suwadee (8/5): A bright, airy, spacious, and comfortable villa with a great view. - Spacious rooms and villa. 3 bedroom villa has a great view. The living room is bright, airy, spacious, and comfortably cool with a breeze flowing through. The air conditioning in the bedrooms stopped working during the last three days of our stay, and there was no hot water. The service team did their best to coordinate and get someone to fix it, but even by the time we checked out, the issue still hadn’t been resolved. We understand that this might be an "island thing," but for accommodations at this price, the management should handle such issues more efficiently.
- Tanya (6/5): We left early - Restaurant was lovely when it was open but it was shut most of the time It was very tired! the kitchen area was very smelly and really needed refurbing the fridge needs replacing as does the dishwasher . The mattress was falling apart , the bathroom (shower area ) was full of limescale , the rattan chairs were broken and could easily cut someone ( as they did me )
- David (8/5): Great for a very quiet vacation - Our room was great. The view and breeze on the porch were amazing! It was too far from everything except Halfmoon bay. We spent way too much time in the car. No store nearby to purchase provisions. The restaurant at the place was closed Monday and Tuesday and when they were open they closed very early like 4:30-5:00 pm. Sat and Sun at 9. Food was good but limited
- Ben (7/5): Nice villa but it's very far from anything. Hire car mandatory. - Spacious Accommodation.
Breeze Restaurant was ok, friendly staff.
Beautiful, quiet setting
Close to kite surfing school
Forced to explore the island (which was probably more fun than being in a resort)
Half moon bay is stunning. 30-40 mins drive to get to breakfast and dinner. Roads are terrible.
Not ideal with children.
Several things broken in the villa.
Difficult to find first time.
Can't buy drinks or snacks from the beach bar! (Very annoying as there is nothing around and supermarkets are ~40min drive).
- Eckhardt (6/5): Secluded - Beautiful secluded area. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant was good that was 5 minutes away but hours are minimal. The host was extremely accommodating and willing to help and solve any problem we encountered. She was the best part. It was very secluded. Be prepared to travel 30 min at the minimum to be anywhere. The townhouse is falling apart, likely due to weather. It is over priced and there are no amenities. You are not at a resort. You have no access to any of the pools at the “resort” area. The beach is decent but far better are around the island. Because of the seclusion I would not start here again. Stock up at the grocery store because you are 35 minutes from anything.
- Katrina (10/5): The stay was perfect exactly what we needed to get away from the cold winter and enjoy some sunshine and relaxation - The property was so peaceful and quiet. It was like a relaxing oasis. It’s even better in person. The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that there wasn’t very many linens. There weren’t very many towels. We also didn’t have a dish rack.
- Cindy (4/5): Not anywhere I would return. - The scenery was beautiful, the restaurant, The Breeze, had beautiful views, good food and chill vibe Serena, the resort manager, was sweet and helpful. Jerry, the driver, was fantastic There was no breakfast, nothing was convenient, all restaurants were too far away which wound up costing a lot in cab fees. there was a leak in our room on the first night, the room was dusty and not the cleanest, no one showed us around the resort or our townhouse. Things weren’t explained enough to us before we got there and places they recommended for activities was sent very late to us. A couple Owners of other townhomes on the resort were rude and mean.
- Peter (9/5): Wonderful place to relax and recharge! - The accommodations were perfect and the views were amazing, which made for a relaxing vacation. The new restaurant, The Breeze, was exceptional with a wonderful staff and great food (corn/shrimp fritters a must have!) It is a bit isolated so you need to prepare and bring everything you need.
- Brette (10/5): Perfect stay for the perfect vacation - The accommodations were much bigger than we anticipated which made our stay extremely comfortable. The house was clean and had everything you could need. Our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She set us up with Jerry’s taxi service, who was also fantastic! Would 100% stay here again. We visited during the off season so the restaurant on the property was closed, but that only meant we got out of the resort more often to try new things.
