• Bruce M (10/5): We shared the weekend with our Friends from Bangladesh, they were so impressed. - We Loved the location, the View, the Garden setting, The extra soft lovely touches. The open Fire place worked a treat. Tawonga is quiet, but with magical views across to Mt Bogong. Close by to Mt beauty and Falls Creek. We apprecaited the really hot hot water service and the kitchen facilities. No issues

• usha (10/5): Great alpine getaway just 4 hours from Melbourne. Will come again surely. - The surroundings were so green and tranquil,spotless and filled with bird calls. The garden was full of flowers. T5he cottage itself was large, airy full of light and spotlessly maintained. The kitchen was totally equipped with all appliances and groceries you could possibly need. The bedroom was clean the mattresses and pillows comfy and the wardrobes spacious. The view of the mountains from the deck lived up to its alpine reputation. We managed to fit in a great hike up to mt bogong the tallest peak in Victoria via the staircase spur. Totally awesome and a true grade 4. Nothing really.
• Fiona (10/5): Peaceful, spacious and a magical place to stay. - The Garden House was peaceful and tastefully decorated. The garden was delightful and the view from the back veranda was amazing. The property had everything we needed and there were extras like the bottle of wine and biscuits left for us in a basket when we arrived. We liked everything about the property.

• Hannah (10/5): Warm, cozy, comfortable and beautiful area! 10/10 would stay here again! - Loved the little front yard, and the open layout of the kitchen with the fireplace. The deck out the back was picturesque and we had breakfast on it one morning as the sun was coming up and it was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pans, crockery and other pantry items! It was a lovely space that had a cozy, ‘lived-in’ feel to it that was exactly what you want to come back to after a day on the ski slopes. Nothing! Location, amenities, everything - wonderful.
• John (8/5): Greater location and very cozy home. A great base for a snow trip with family and friends. - Great location and very communicative owners. The heaters worked great and were especially useful during the cold winter nights. The carpets were dirty and seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned since the last stay and the toilet didn’t flush properly. The uncleanliness of the carpets made my group question the cleanliness of the rest of the house (I.e bathroom and beds) despite there being no indication these weren’t clean. This caused some form of barrier to being completely cozy in an otherwise very cozy home.

• Ayman (9/5): Lovely stay in a family home - Location. Views. Inclusions. The fireplace. Key lock is a little fiddly. Too bright lights from the ceiling especially at night.

• Brooke (8/5): Otherwise, we loved our stay. It was cosy and quite and the neighbour John was so lovely and helpful - The location was fantastic. The house was great just over done with fake plants and too much colour around. Looked very busy. Less is best. Less plants and colour. The vacuum was hard to work as it hadn’t been cleaned out and had hair wrapped around the head which I wasn’t willing to remove. The bed in the room off the lounge room was uncomfortable, whether it needs turning around or replacing.

• Mskw (10/5): Exceptional - This was a great place to stay. Wonderful view, quiet, private, very comfy and the hosts have made sure that everything a family could possibly need was there. We enjoyed the fireplace and the generous piles of wood and firestarters, the kitchen facilities were numerous and clean, and the nice hot shower was great after a cold day in the snow. Thank you for a great stay and the thoughtful gift basket. Highly recommend! That we couldn't stay longer.

• Joydeep (9/5): Beautiful house at a great location - Great location, very close to Mount Beauty, spacious house with a beautiful garden in front. It was well equipped with all the necessary items (even there was some rice and pasta for cooking as well). They even had bikes for us to use in the garage and fire woods as well (although we did not use it as it was too hot). The host was really gracious and had a lovely welcome basket for us with Wine and crackers in it.. very touching gesture. Had games for kids to play some DVDs etc. All in all a great place to stay One thing can be improved 1. The beds are on the smallish side. It might be useful to have twin bed on one of the bedroom or probably a queen bed instead of a double.

House is perfectly located in the heart of Tawonga and within a walkable distance to beautiful and scenic views. To top it all, the hosts were incredible and super helpful to ensure a comfortable stay for my family.
