Две ночи эти люди жили в соседнем но - Нас дождались поздно ночью , на этом все , менеджер Рене который нас провожал был любезен , но после двух бессонных ночей руководство ни в чем не пошло навстречу ! Это первый отель в котором мы запросили возврат денег потому что это было ужасно ! Мы не спали ни одной ночи и номер на фото и в реальности не соответствовал действительности

• Alexandra (8/5): Excelente! - O pequeno almoço é simples, mas é bom. Tem fruta, ovos, sumos, pão, fiambre, queijo, leite e café. O cheiro a esgotos do lado de fora do hotel, é muito mau. No entanto, quando entramos até nos esquecemos deste pormenor. O hotel é limpo, com uma decoração fantástica e funcionários muito prestáveis.
• Unkle Al (8/5): Very short but pleasant stay. - Art House arranged a Yango taxi for me (about 20000). They accommodated my request for early check-in. The place is very well located on Ilha do Cabo, about a 15 minute walk from good bars and restaurants. I did no stay overnight as I was connecting, but I got a few hours sleep during the day without noticeable noise outside. The decor is quite artful, which has an appeal. Room overlooked the sea. Not a spectacular view, but still nice to be so close to the sea. The staff (in particular Manuel) were very friendly and helpful, including arranging local Yango taxis. Price was fair compared to so many hyper-inflated hotels in Luanda taking advantage of the oil and gas industry boom. It is so far from the airport (not the hotel's fault of course, just weird planning by the government). It takes an hour in each direction to the new airport with no traffic. Make sure you arrange your Yango in advance, or else you will be in a sweat trying to make your flight. It took 30 minutes for the taxi to turn up.

• Gavin (6/5): Great Beach Views! Great Art! - Great View of the Beach from my room! And LOVED all the art on the doors and walls! It's very quiet and relaxing and was nice to sit in the little bay window in my room, feeling the see breeze and listening to the local's music, singing and laughter coming from the beach! Breakfast was a little underwhelming (choices of eggs was promised at check-in but then no one appeared to make the offer at breakfast time, and other choices were quite limited) ... I was also a bit disappointed to learn on arrival that the rooftop bar was out of action due to maintenance.

A área que seria com vista para o mar, não é possível para banho pois existem muitas pessoas que moram na orla, pessoas em estado de vulnerabilidade. O café da manhã não era bom, apenas pão e fruta. Pagamento apenas vida e cash, não aceitam Mastercard. Pesquisem muito bem antes de locar uma hospedagem, Luanda ainda é um local complexo para turismo.

• MBALI (7/5): Overall, our stay was good. - The room was spacious, with a fridge and a TV, and it was clean. Loved the art all over the hotel, it gives the hotel a unique and artsy feel. The staff was also very friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was ROCK hard and the rooftop was dirty, seemingly hadn't been cleaned in long. The outside of the hotel is very busy, so it was very loud almost throughout the day, especially because we stayed from 30 Dec-3 Jan. It was also quite smelly outside outside the hotel (take face masks with you) and the beach was not clean, we went to Cafe Del Mar for a cleaner beach.

• Diana (10/5): Buena relación, calidad precio - El Hotel ha cumplido todas mis expectativas, solo hemos pasado una noche porque nuestro vuelo hacía escala allí. El director del Hotel fue muy amable nos gestionó una recogida de un taxi en el aeropuerto y también se ocupó de que el mismo taxista viniera al día siguiente a recogernos al Hotel para volver a llevarnos al aeropuerto. El Hotel estaba limpio y la decoración era divertida y muy africana, llegamos tarde y la cocina estaba cerrada y se ofreció para gestionarnos una cena take away para tomárnosla en nuestro Hotel. Muy recomendable y el director muy amable y muy resolutivo. Recomiendo este Hotel Cumplió mis expectativas

Good food, comfortable bed, spacious rooms. People say Luanda hotels are expensive, and that's probably true, but I disagree. This place is really good value for money.

• Rene (8/5): Hotel Super aber keine Touren darüber buchen - Haben einen gleich zur begüssung Getränke angeboten. Die zimmer sind sauber und einen guten blick auf das Meer. Sie wollen einen Touren aufrede. Ich hatte eine zu den Wasserfällen Angolas gebucht bei der Rezeption. Nachts 2 Uhr also 6 Stunden vor der Abfahrt wollten sie dann auf einmal 150$ mehr als vorher abgemacht. Sonst fahren sie nicht. Habe ich nicht angenommen. Also am besten keine Touren über das Hotel buchen. Und die Dachterrasse sollte man meiden da sie ziemlich herunter gekommen ist. Aber sonst das Hotel ist cool.

The hotel staff went out and beyond by walking us to the nearby restaurant as it not safe. The location of the property. There are a lot of homeless people staying across the hotel. Some rooms had cigarette smells.

We liked the decor of the place and the rooms were clean (though the rooms were tired and could use a bit of a paint). We had an excellent evening meal there (so can happily recommend eating supper there!). Like many others have said, the breakfast wasn't the best

• francois (10/5): Excellent séjour à l’Art House – une bonne adresse à Luanda - J’ai passé un agréable séjour à l’Art House. L’hôtel offre une atmosphère chaleureuse et authentique, où l’art angolais occupe une place centrale. Les chambres sont propres, confortables et décorées avec goût. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, attentionné et toujours prêt à rendre service, ce qui fait vraiment la différence. La localisation sur l’Ilha do Cabo est idéale : proche de la plage, des restaurants et des lieux de vie, tout en restant calme et agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est de qualité, et les espaces communs, notamment la terrasse, invitent vraiment à la détente. Un lieu intime, confortable et plein de charme. Je recommande pour un séjour à Luanda, que ce soit pour le travail ou pour les vacances Le roof top n'était pas opérationnel.

• Moritz (5/5): Not the best experience in Angola - Clean hotel with friendly staff right at the beach. We were 2 friends (not a couple) and booked a room with a king size bed and a sleeping couch. The couch was not a sleeping couch and we had to sleep together in one bed. They offered us a mattress but who wants to sleep on a mattress on the floor? Totally unacceptable. Also the roof bar is under renovation and the hotels location on Google Maps is wrong.

• Dante (5/5): Not good value for money - Friendly staff While I appreciated the help with pick up for airport, the value if compared to uber options (note there is no Uber in the country) was absurd. Room smelled very moldy and sheets did not smell fresh either. Breakfast was not very inviting either. I did not have a positive overall experience. It was really a 2 star experience.

• justin (10/5): Fabulous home from home in Angola - I have travelled to over 140 countries and I can tell you honestly that this is one of my favourite hotels. Why? When you arrive for the first time in a new country - in this case, Angola - you want the following: A safe, comfortable hotel with a good location. You also want staff who are friendly and will go out of their way to help you with their local knowledge. I experienced all of this and more at Art House. All of the lads working there are top class professionals. They helped us with everything we needed help and advice on such as getting bus tickets, helping with taxi transfers, advising on local food, etc etc. The hotel itself has a superb location on a beautiful strip of coast near the excellent Malibu beach restaurant. The property is beautiful with lovely art work, a rooftop area to relax and enjoy views of the city, great comfortable rooms, and a very decent breakfast. All in all, Art House is a true home from home in Angola; the perfect place to begin your Angola adventure...and it is the perfect place for us to end it when we fly out of this fascinating country. Big thanks to all of the staff at the hotel - it is you who make this place what it is!

Пляж прямо через дорогу ! Пляж рядом довольно простой, но совсем рядом есть куча beachclubs, где можно идеально и с комфортом провести время ! А уж парень на ресепшн просто замечательный - очень помог по всем вопросам! И даже на английском! Гугл даёт неверное расположение, поэтому спишитесь заранее и получите "точку на карте":)))

The airport pickup I'd arranged with the hotel in advance was not there when we arrived. The next day, the tour guide initially recommended to me by the hotel did not show up for our scheduled tour. In both cases, when we informed reception, they quickly rectified the situation.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The area is pretty nice with the beach and many restaurants nearby. VISA might not work so bring cash or they can provide a Paypal link I think.
