• Kim (7/5): Je krijgt waar voor je geld in een sfeervolle locatie. - Bedden waren uitstekend. Heel blij met de dubbele ramen met luiken zodat het en donker was in de kamer en eventueel geluidsoverlast van buiten niet te horen was. Check-in zonder personeel maar met code voor de voordeur en een eigen sleutel voor je slaapkamerdeur, handig! Badkamer kan wat extra onderhoud gebruiken, alles was schoon en werkte, maar bijvoorbeeld de wc knop zat los en liep daarom lang door, kraan bij wasbak liep ook wat langer door na gebruik en licht boven badkamer spiegel deed het niet. Douchedeuren sluiten niet aan, dus na het douchen lag er naast het toilet een aardige plas water.

Un edificio antiguo restaurado, Lo justo para pasar una noche despues de un dia de playa o descansar despues de un viaje por la costa. Ideal para disfrutar de la noche de Tarifa. Mejor en verano, debe ser muy fresco. No es un Hotel es una casa de huespedes, su relación calidad precio es buena. No es fácil aparcar por los alrededores. Huele un poco a humedad. El cuarto de baño comunica con la habitación para recibir luz o ventilar. Se ve que tiene mucho trote de personas en Verano, no es como las fotos ya está un poco más usado, pero la decoración es la misma.

• Dirk (5/5): Für das Haus spricht (nur) die Lage - Die Lage ist sehr gut: am Rand der Altstadt, nahe des Castillos und nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Kostenloses Parken in der Nähe möglich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für uns nicht gepasst. Unser Zimmer war ausgesprochen einfach eingerichtet, deutlich abgewohnt und nicht ganz sauber. Das ganze Haus wirkte ebenso, alles sehr hellhörig. Während unseres kurzen Aufenthalts haben wir kein Personal gesehen, die Rezeption war bei Anreise um 15 Uhr schon nicht mehr besetzt.

• LISA (7/5): Comfortable, good location - Location was good bc we needed to catch a very early ferry so it was within minutes of the port. Awesome noise blocking balcony doors. Clean enough, comfortable, good A/C, has refrigerator. Hotel was cutely decorated. We thought we would not be able to sleep because it is located right in a busy plaza that is abuzz and noisy at night with the popular restaurants but the balcony door had awesome sound proofing. Shower was tiny but can you expect in small space. It worked. Hotel seems a bit worn but it serves it purpose.

When booking I had selected a twin room - was under the impression this was what I had booked. When I checked in, there was only a double available - this wasn’t made clear to me when they accepted the booking.

The location was perfect, surrounded by some of the best restaurants and shops in Tarifa. The check-in process was very easy and the hotel was clean and well designed. We loved the room with the balcony and will definitely stay here again.
• R (9/5): Overall I loved it and didn’t want to leave. Clean, smart and funky. - Reception. Entry is via a key code sent to you. Once inside you collect your room key from the door. Never saw the host; no need. Downstairs is nice with some seating. Up some stairs to the rooms. Bedroom is big enough for two. Traditional and interesting. Bed is comfortable with lovely clean, crisp white bedding. Two bedside cabinets with lighting over. Wardrobe, tele and antique chair to sit on at your grilled Juliet balcony. Again, traditional, you can stand and people watch, but, you can’t sit on it. Coffee maker is good. Complimentary 1.5lt of water is excellent. There is air con, but, I didn’t use it. Likewise the tele. WIFI is OK/good. Shower room is a good size. Clean and bright. Shower cubicle with two taps. Shower is good. Toiletries and good white towels. Hairdryer. Outside and below are restaurants and many people to watch. Tarifa old town is lovely. Busy with tourists you will have to eat early, queue, or eat late. Move towards the port it gets quieter. A lovely funky place for central Tarifa. Complaints. It is above some very busy restaurants. They are noisy and crowded until quite late at night. And, they set up and have deliveries from early; 07:30! If you want peace and quiet this may not be the place. If you want mainstream Tarifa and the ‘buzz’; it is. Be a star on your balcony. Look at the diners looking at you! That said I fell asleep with the doors open to the chatter below. No complaints.

• Peter (1/5): Bad attitude. - Once the booking was confirmed they wrote me that they are under construction and cannot accept my reservation. They I asked them to provide an alternative, as I had a confirmed accomodation at their place. They did not answer my request, just repeated they were closed. They did not even reject my booked room, so they cannot be held responsible by Booking. How should I book another place if my reservation is live with them? They should have taken responsibility. Poor communication, poor cooperation. Not taking responsibility.

We had a top floor (3rd floor) room with a huge balcony, great views over the town and the buzzing restaurants below. Decent size shower in the little bathroom. The room was pretty soundproofed from the street noise. We were given a code to get in, didn’t see any staff other than one cleaner. Was fine for us tho as we didn’t need anything. The room was rather compact - not really any room to pass each other from the bed to the bathroom if one of you was at the clothes cupboard! In fact, the huge terrace was bigger than the room! However, it was perfect for the two nights we were there. Loved the balcony.

The terrace doors did a remarkable job of blocking out the noise of the busy street below. The staff was friendly and housekeeping visited the room daily. The room was quite small, without enough space for me to fully open my suitcase.

Top floor has roof terraces overlooking a busy square with good restaurants, but without the ambient noise one might expect. Good a/c. No dislikes.

Helpful staff. Room was very small. You can't keep balcony doors open without having to close them to get to the bathroom.
