Atif (1/5): I will not recommend it to save time and money - Location & Value: The apartment is part of “Turtle Beach Resort”. Booking with David and dealing with him was not convenient at all. You can get good deals from resort and they usually offer discount on longer stay. The level of service you will not get it from David as an individual, as compare to when you deal with resort management. I also found from his conversation later that other reviews are from friends/family which I found misleading and not detailed enough. Service: Dealing with an individual is a pain as compare to resort management. If you book with resort then there is always someone who listen and try to solve your problem. David will come up with every excuse not to solve it. You may get a text from him “I am at Brisbane I cannot come etc” If you be consistent and tell him that something was mentioned on the ad and you don’t have it, he will change the online ad on the booking.com to make a point which we found very un-Australian. We got some small compensation from booking.com because of his misleading ad. Cleanliness and amenities: Apartment was not clean and is an old apartment, we found cockroaches during our stay. There is no aircon in the bedrooms only at lounge area. As in the summer because of humidity you have to open bedroom windows then you will have noises in the room and you have to be up really early. Fan in the room also make noises so good luck with a good sleep. Lounge was very dirty. Because there is no reception staff to go to, you have to wait for him to be there for Check-in and out which is another inconvenience. In short everything is struggle instead of enjoying your holidays.
