Guest Reviews
- emma (7/5): -
- Suzanne (9/5): Good central location and right on the water. - Location and pool Couch needed to be updated
- Luke (10/5): -
- Rino (10/5): Superb View - A superb water view looking onto the channel from a generous balcony. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds . The cupboards could do with some organising. There was a lot of kitchen stuff, but hard to tell where it was placed. Some tea towels, wiping cloths, etc would be useful.
- Becker (9/5): -
- Kirsty (7/5): Loved the location - The view from the unit was fantastic
It’s very spacious The overall cleanliness was not great
There was dust on most surfaces
The bed head in the master bedroom had what looked like 12 months worth of dust along the top of it
The place looked like it needed a good spring clean
- ben (10/5): Seaside living! - Take your fishing rod and swimmers for a relaxing weekend I loves it all
- michael (1/5): - N/A really. The view was fantastic. Pretty much everything bar the view. rubbish left in the bin under bench, cracked and peeling paint, filthy fabric lounge chairs, filthy fabric dining chairs, worn carpet, hose clamp to hold shower rose locked in place, beds were not clean, access was horrific, minimal privacy, parking extremely difficult. For the way it was portrayed and the cost of the unit it was very disappointing indeed
- Suzanne (7/5): -
- Michael Graf and (9/5): - Amazing view. A comfortable place close to most things beach etc..very quiet .. Cleaning needed a bit more attention..old clothes and baby pullups left in the closet.
- Kaylene (9/5): We had a lovely stay for my Birthday. The unit has enough space to invite extended family over for dinner. Plenty of sea - Location
- Melissa (10/5): - The view was amazing
- Scott (4/5): Over priced & disappointing standards of unit - The view & location were perfect The unit was very old and nothing like the website
Pillows were dirty stained and smelly and 12 years old . Paint was flaking off walls fitting were rusted.
Dirty linen from previous guest was dumped in the wardrobe
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to the main street. Amazing views.
- Michael (8/5): Great week weather wise. Walking distance to shops. Able to enjoy scenic walks without using the car - Absolutely perfect location Needed a good paint. Lounge chairs, dining room chairs and cushions grubby. Toaster only toasted on one side
- Carol (9/5): Relaxing few days away with all the comforts of home in an excellent location - The Location was excellent
- Charleen (7/5): The view and location makes up for some shortfalls - The view and the Foxtel/netflix access The level of cleanliness overall like , broken drawer in cupboard
- Meegan (10/5): We were only here for 4 days sadly, we can’t wait to come back for an extended holiday - Location was perfect for our needs N/A
- Lucy (8/5): Fabulous, no better location, value for money. I’d definitely stay there again! - Fabulous location. The unit was over looking the water exactly as per photo and totally brilliant. The view was breathtaking especially in the mornings.
The actual location was right in the middle of Caloundra and in easy walking distance of restaurants and shops etc.
The street itself was quiet. Perfect. I’d definitely stay there again.
The staff at the reception, about 30m away, were totally lovely and very helpful. We were given a second key without any fuss.
Very good value for money. Nothing I didn’t like.
The apartment was spacious with fully equipped kitchen. Light and airy.
The apartment was an older style and slightly dated but clean and spacious. Everything in good working order. Personally I prefer this to an ultra modern small pokey hotel room.
- Rui (9/5): Superb -
- Geoff (5/5): Passable - was very dated and not very clean , cockroaches in bathroom, the pool pump was turned off soit went green and kids couldnt use it
- Ek (5/5): Passable - We love this unit location and have stayed in this block over many years The furniture and fittings are old and grubby, esp the couches and cushions and need updating
the cost does not reflect the amenity
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Les (6/5): Lovely view hard to beat, but had to do some research and work before we settled down, at this price should not have. - The view over the passage at Caloundra was the highlight and the selling point.
The the double bed was firm and comfortable. Mould in both bathrooms gave them a ‘dirty look’. The hot water service is very small and struggled to service 4 adults.
Toaster only works half of both sides. After looking up online what coffee pods the coffee machine took, purchased only to find did not work, so back to shops to get descaling liquid and fix problem.
Mould on wall, window frame and pull down blind in lounge room. Hair dryer not working.
Vacuum cleaner not working on needs cleaning, had to resort to broom to do carpet.
Kitchen cupboards just odds and sods from op shop no sets of anything, struggled to accommodate 4 from kitchen.
No tablets for dishwasher.
The lounges only about 30cm from floor and very uncomfortable.
The apartment needs a makeover.
Without the location, it would struggle.
Having said all this we had a stay that was memorable.
- Mrs (10/5): Lovely stay - Good ammenities NA
- Kjetill (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and great apartment.
- Nathan (8/5): Very good - Great location and great unit Not much
- Thusitha (3/5): Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that it was not well-maintained. There was no elevator, I had to carry all of o - Only the view is good The property is not clean at all.
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional - The location There was only 2 dinner plates and the property needs done general wear and tear
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (7/5): Good - The amazing views. And location There was only two mugs, and 4 towels witch I had to wàsh and dry daily
- Rumi (1/5): Never again. - It was okay until they charged me an extra cost of over $100 for leaving some rubbish in the kitchen. They charged over $100 for extra cleaning because the kitchen bin was overflowing and Pizza boxes were thrown around the unit. However, the truth is, only two pizza boxes were placed on the bench above the bin because they were too big for the small bin in the kitchen. Charging $102.20 for this is simply excessive on every level. It’s truly disappointing and feels like another scam.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Brendan (8/5): Worth the money paid - Location was 10/10 A/C unit was quite noisey. That’s the only issue we had.
- Steve (9/5): A really beautiful location and views and ideal for small families. - Fantastic location and amazing views. Great facilities. The air con was a little noisey. Also there was no BBQ available which we saw on the photos.
- Janelle (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Samuel (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Maggie (8/5): We had a really lovely stay in a beautiful tranquil location and it suited our family very well. - Beautiful. Overlooking the quiet Pumicestone Passage. The keys didn’t immediately activate the garage door or front door and needed persistence.
- Donna (7/5): Good - The unit was in a central but quiet location and the view was lovely. The property was very clean and the kitchen very well-equipped. We found parking a 4WD in the garage very tricky and didn't find an iron or an ironing board.
- Michele (9/5): We were able to unwind and relax whilst enjoying the view. Very well equipped apartment. - Location was handy to everything. Loved the great views over the water. The apartment had a musky smell.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Shane (8/5): Very good - Keys VERY DIFFICULT to use to open front door.
- Michelle (9/5): The view - This unit has the best views and location. You dont even have to leave the lounge to see the ocean. So nice.. Furniture needs covers refreshed. Bigger hotwater system.
- Elaine (9/5): Fantastic views - The view was fantastic. Comfortable unit with very well equipped kitchen. Easy walk into town and beach.
- Barbara (9/5): Amazing Views. - This apartment itself is really lovely. The view is FANTASTIC! 👌 It was so nice to have all the little extras included, plenty of tea coffee sugar even tomato sauce, salt , pepper, etc. The location was great. Only a short walk to Bulcock Beach, and a little further along, is Kings beach. Many cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. Caloundra is our go-to place when we want a quick break. We will definitely be back for longer as we do love this apartment (as long as you have a new bed). The main bed. PLEASE buy a new one!. We would love to stay here again but not until we see it written somewhere you have a new bed. Also, it may just need a clean, but the air-conditioning throughout the apartment makes a terrible noise (including the 2 bedrooms)
- Carol (10/5): Very enjoyable stay due to the location - Location and view Beds could have been more comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with a lot of unnecessary items but no coffee mugs.
