• Elizabeth (9/5): Great place for a family, especially for a short trip. - The flexibility of our host, Ivan. And close location to a delicious restaurant for dinner. We were only there for one night. My fault, I brought way too much stuff to carry my suitcase up the stairs. Only small issue was the need for new chairs to sit on while on the balcony off the bedroom.
• Carolin (9/5): Local Gem - The host Ivan was outstanding! Before our stay he recommended things to do and met us at the car rental to show us the way to the house and gave us the keys. We talked a lot about the island and appreciate all the local tips. One day we met him at the fish fry and eat a conch salad and drank a Bahama mama and kalik. He knows everything about the place and the people and we would book here again. The property was very close to the three sisters beach and there was a free parking spot in front of the house. The interior of the house was great, everything you need was there! The sofa could be more comfy but we didn’t spend a lot of time home because we wanted to explore the whole island.

• Paula (10/5): Very comfortable, central and a great host! - This is seriously one of the best accommodations we have stayed at! The beach is very close by around 5 min walking, the place is big and very comfortable for 3-4 people. We stayed 11 days, the kitchen has all the amenities you might need, you can also use the laundry, patio, parking, etc. As it is centrally located in the island you can reach almost any destination within 10-30 min driving. But definitely the biggest highlight for us was the kindness and helpful attitude from our Host. He recommended us the best beaches, restaurants and tours to go to! The main purpose of our travel was to buy a land in the island and he was also very helpful with recommendations for realtor, lawyers, constructions companies, etc. Honestly the best value for money and when we go back to Exuma we hope to always stay at Ivan's place! 200% recommended!!
• Me (7/5): Overall a very good stay - Not the location we opted for initially however everything worked out fine in the end. Its a turn off from main road, quiet area, beach across the street restaurants and bars close by as well. Mr Ferguson the Host was very accommodating to our needs An upgrade to living room furniture to include a sleeper sofa
• Pruet (10/5): Exceptional - Our flight was cancelled. Just found this for one night. Mr. Ferguson was the best possible host in a bad situation. He drove us to get groceries for the evening and offered to help in any way. For the money and the location, it would be great value vacation. Thanks Mr F.
• Jeff (9/5): Da Bottom was a great home base for us to explore the many amazing sites of the Exumas. - The host was incredibly kind and helpful, he was very proud of his house and the island. The location is a 3 minute walk to an absolutely beautiful beach. The house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. I wouldn't hesitate staying at Da Bottom again. Only recommendation would be to get a seating area that was more comfortable, no other suggestions.
