• Gjensil (4/5): Disappointing experience – not worth the high price - Location is perfect. Disappointing and overpriced – definitely not worth it Our stay at this property was very disappointing, especially considering the high cost. I paid a total of €890 for 3 nights – and that was after a discount from Booking.com for being a regular customer. The full price would have been around €950, which is absolutely extreme for what we got. On top of that, I had to spend another €70 on creams, medications for insect bites, and mosquito repellents – unacceptable extra costs that should never be necessary in a properly maintained accommodation. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated and stressful. Even though I had already specified that we were 2 adults and 2 children, they demanded passport photos of all of us, including the kids, with our faces next to the documents. This request came very late – while I was already in Milan – and they refused to approve check-in without it. After a long trip with tired children and heavy luggage, this last-minute bureaucracy felt completely unreasonable. The apartment itself had several serious issues. There were many insects, and even a lizard entered the house one night, which scared my daughters. My youngest daughter kept getting bitten during the nights, and her eye and hands became swollen. I thought it was mosquitoes, bought repellent, but nothing changed – possibly bed bugs, though I can’t confirm. The pillows smelled like sweat from previous guests, and the sofa bed in the living room was unstable and dangerous – it would open in the middle and nearly caused me to fall several times. It also had a bad, musty smell. We had to keep the windows open all day to air the place out, which meant we couldn’t even use the air conditioning. There was no detergent for washing clothes, and there were not enough towels for four people. At a minimum, there should be one towel per person per night. We had to buy laundry detergent ourselves just to wash them. Will not return and do not recommend!

• MARIA TERESA (9/5): Cozy and welcoming Apartment next to Porta Garibaldi train station - Very cozy apartment 5 mins walking from Porta Garibaldi train station , exit Guglielmo Pepe (1 hour direct train from Milan Malpensa Airport to Porta Garibaldi station, 30 euros aprox 2 people) . The comunicación with the person in charge was pleasant, basically everything through WhatsApp, they sent us the instructions to access the apartment, to do the payment and they sent us the check in links before arrival (ensure you have internet). The apartment decoration was very welcoming specially for those with time for reading (the walls have shelfs with lots of books) and in general had everything we needed with nice extras like 2 bottles of water in the fridge, hand cream, shampoo , conditioner and shower cups in the toilet, towels and sleepers on top of the bed (very comfortable bed) and coffee capsules in the kitchen. They booked a taxi for us as we left the apartment at 6 am on Saturday and the public transport was limited, arrived on time and was a Mercedes Van (possible to pay by card or cash, 130 euros to the Airport). There was a Carrefour express just a step away and The Blue Note Milano around the corner convenient for those going to see any concert) . In general highly recommended! The communication with the person in charge is limited as they don’t answer WhatsApp’s from 10pm to 10 am so if is urgent there is a local number to call but we could not do international calls. The building needs some maintenance.

• Igor (7/5): It's a nice place to stay a short while. Great base camp for trips around Milan. - The apartment is located in a lively neighborhood, a short walk away from 2 metro stations. There's plenty of restaurants and bars around. The apartment is neat, well furnished, and clean. The hosts were communicative - they quickly solved an issue with the condominium doors not working properly. The apartment is on the first floor overlooking a street busy with nightlife. The blinds are permanently drawn. It's good as a place to rest between trips and excursions, but not to linger.
• Daniel (2/5): Not worth it. - The apartment is well located and it’s quiet, despite being next to one of Isola’s lively streets (bars, restaurants). The refrigerator was not working and instead there was a medium size refrigerator in the living room (????). On the second day of the stay, someone tried to break into the apartment, unannounced, using a separate set of keys. The company administrator relativized the situation stating that might have been someone else that got confused - the door is different from the rest of the doors in the same floor with a big company logo on it.
• Gabriela (1/5): Expensive and unhealthy place to stay due to heavy mould - The sanitary conditions were unhealthy due to heavy mould in the bathroom and bad small overall the apartament.
• Adam (6/5): Bad electrics + inaccessible fuse box - The electric system would trip if you used the cooker and kettle at the same time. There was no warning of this, it's not an unreasonable load, in fact very normal to make food, and the fuse box it tripped isn't accessible to the guest.

• Mariane (10/5): Exceptional - I have no words to describe how incredible the experience at the house was. The house is extremely clean and welcoming and the design is beautiful. The bathroom had all the new amenities, and the best quality hygiene products. The location is perfect, in the coolest and most lively neighborhood in Milan, we did a lot of things on foot, but the metro station is very close. There are many leisure and food options in the surrounding area. It will definitely be a place that I will recommend to friends.

• Raul (2/5): The apartment was too expensive and the experience was not as expected. - The location was nice, the check-out process was quick and straightforward. There was a nearby supermarket where we purchased water and food. After the first night, there was no hot water, and despite the host's assurances that they would send someone to repair the heating system, no one ever arrived. Consequently, we had to resort to boiling water on the gas cooker, which was far from ideal. The air conditioning was another problem. The AC unit's temperature settings were restricted to a range of 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, making the apartment uncomfortably hot during your stay. Additionally, the check-in process was frustrating. Despite multiple communications about our arrival time, We ended up waiting for 45 minutes in the sun for the host to arrive with the keys. Throughout this period, they repeatedly claimed to be "close to the apartment," which only added to our frustration.

We liked the apartment and can definitely recommend staying there. - We liked the apartment very much for a couple of reasons: good location (calm area, no noise, easy access to public transport), apartment itself is clean and cozy, two bathrooms, kitchen has mostly what you need to cook at home. Not a big thing but the lock in one bathroom did not work properly, it would be nice to fix it. Also, for someone like us, who like to cook at home, some basic things were missing. For example: sponges, dishwasher tablets to clean dishes or just extra detergent. There were also no paper towels and extra trash bags, so we had to practically buy everything ourselves. Again, this is not a big deal and it might not be needed by a lot of people but when you live in the apartment these things just save your day.
• Rano (10/5): Amazing stay in Milan - I traveled to Milan with a friend to see a concert and we couldn’t be more content about this stay. The location worked perfect for us as in terms of getting there quickly from the train station and at the same time not being too far away from San Siro stadium. We were very comfortable at the apartment with two separate bathrooms and two beds (one sofabed).

• Marek (9/5): Spacious apartment in a lovely neighbourhood with some great views. - Splendid location close to the city center. True Milano vibe. Beautiful, traditional house with a nice yard. The apartment is located on 4th floor so you have a great view to rooftops of surrounding buildings and can even see the finance district in a distance. The apartment is very spacious, high ceilings - two bathrooms. Super comfy web. Super clean and nicely decorated. It overcome my expectations. The only problem was a wifi connection which was unstable and quite slow.

• Dragos (8/5): Very good - A clean and well placed apartament with good connections to the city. Has 2 tvs, a big bathroom, a comfy bed and a bed wich is situated in front of a sliding doors dressing. Overall the apartment looked quite good. I was not very happy that it's situated right next to a very popular bar. Lots of drunk people shouting and yelling late into the night as you would expect.

• Shiva (8/5): Very good - The apartment was sparkling clean, 10 mins walk from Metro and bus stop. In general was a good place specially if you like to party at night. Since there was a bar right in front of the apartment. A big and well furnished place with home feeling suitable for 3 people to stay. Big bathroom and room. There are three points I didn't like about this property: 1. Check-in process could be better. You need to put an effort to arrange an exact time which is not so convenient considering that you are new in the city and sometimes you can't be so punctual. So we were 20mins late. Then the agent had left and we had to wait for 45 mins for him to come back and give us the keys. He was sweet and apologetic but that doesn't help when you are already exhausted from a flight and have to wait for long. 2. As I said area was a party neighborhood and too loud at night to rest 3. The sofa bed, not at all comfy

It really was great. The room was quite nice, once you don't mind a bit of noise from the downstairs bar (we didnt....we were part of the noise!!)

What really let the apartment down was the sofa/sofa bed was broken so only one person could sit on it as the other end disappear down to the floor as no wooden slats. We send a message to the agent to inform and was told we needed to phone the maintenance team they would contact. We only had 3 days in Milan so did not feel inclined to spend some of it chasing maintenance. Service up until then had been good but this really let the agency down. • Sergey (2/5): avoid staying at this apartment - First and foremost, we encountered significant confusion between the apartment presented on booking.com, which had outstanding reviews, and the actual unit we were provided with. These two were completely distinct and didn't match up. Furthermore, the location of the apartment was highly disappointing. It was situated on the first floor, facing a busy and excessively noisy street. The constant noise from the street made it feel as though we were trying to sleep right on the road itself. At first glance, the apartment appeared satisfactory, but upon closer look, we were disappointed to find that all the furniture and renovations were of notably poor quality. The lack of proper cleanliness was evident, and we even discovered holes in the bed sheet, which was rather disappointing.

The interior of the unit was fresh and modern. The cleaning staff as well as the host was kind and accomodating. The A/C units were not optimal as we couldn’t put the degrees as low as we wanted, but the host and staff tried to help us asap so no real complaint there…

There was a confusion about the exact address of the apartment: Google Maps lists one location, Booking conformation email another one (#9 nearby) and in fact it's yet another one (#4, still nearby though), so make sure you clarify this with the owner.

Spacious apartment, modern and pretty clean. only thing we were not happy with was the address mentioned on Google and advertised, we were dropped off by our driver at the wrong location after a long day of flight, waited outside late at night in the cold for 15 mins…then to realised the address was wrong, I just noticed then they messaged me on the day the correct address. I think this is pretty bad, considering I didn’t turn on mobile roaming and wouldn’t have got the SMS. after waiting for 15 mins I have to call Luca to see where he is (he was going to greet me at entrance) then to realised we have to walk another 5-10 mins (with our luggages) to the apartment…. We booked 2 rooms, my room was right opposite lucky bar and, you can hear the noises like no filter…the bar closes late and we stayed on the weekend so you can imagine…we have to leave the tv on to sleep….My parents room was on the 4th floor on another building and it’s better. Location of the apartment is far from Milan Centre, it’s 40 mins walk to Duomo, and about 8-10 mins to nearest Metro (Zara). what I mentioned above.
• Zuriizhat (10/5): Cozy & stylish falt in city center (Isola) - the flat is super cozy and stylish. view from french windows, the equipment and two bathrooms made this stay super comfortable. I felt myself as real Milan citizen living in the city center and having all I need in this flat. everything was perfect. a little comment that it would be great to add cutting board to the kitchen staff for cutting bread, cheese and vegetables

• Sara (9/5): Beautiful Apartment in a great area - The apartment is very nice and neat, nice interiors and the fact that it had 2 bathrooms both with shower, made it even better. Hugo, the property representant met us for the key delivery and very kindly answered all of our questions. We can totally recommend this place as both the location is excellent (restaurants nearby and cool are) and the apartment itself is very nice distributed. And we would like to emphasise that the attention we received from Hugo and the Staff from Beplace Apartments was incredible.
• Bruno (10/5): One of the best apartment and hotel like service we've ever stayed at and experienced! - We liked everything and we are more than satisfied! From the location (which is in one of the best neighborhoods in Milan and only 10 min of metro to city center/Duomo. The neighborhood has many restaurants and bars which is also great. The apartment is amazing, reaaaally big, 2 bathrooms, open space living room/kitchen, the most comfiest bed and pillows, Nespresso machine with coffee... The list goes on... Owners really try their best to meet your expectations and fulfill your wishes. They are on the line on whatsapp with you if there's any problem or question. They even picked up our luggage after a check out because we had a whole day in Milan and our flight was at 10pm, so we left it with them and picked right before leaving to the airport which helped a lot. This is the apartment with hotel kind of service and they're professional at what they do. Next time we're in Milan we're definitely staying here again! I highly recommend it, one of the best apartment stays and service i had in my life :) Everything was better than expected. We liked everything.

All the perks of a hotel w/independence of an airbnb. - Hugo (the host) was an excellent communicator, and he was in touch a couple of days before our arrival. He was waiting for us when we got in, and was very efficient and friendly in showing us everything we needed, including a baby bed. The apartment was wonderful; fabulous amenities, great location for food (especially gelato). There were just so many nice touches. And the a/c was GREAT, much appreciated traveling in late July! Would definitely recommend staying here.
