- Renae (1/5): Very badly run. - Location Shower hadn’t been cleaned. There was no bath mat. There were 3 of us and only 1 spoon. Our bedspread had stains on it. The pillows were so flat should be thrown out.

- Mark (9/5): - Great room and good food at the Hotel. A lot to like. No dislikes.
- Riho (4/5): - They didn’t clean properly. The bathroom was awful. Someone’s pee still in the toilet, used towels were hung up, hair and razor blades were scattered in the shower room.
- Andy (10/5): - Loved how big the rooms were!
- Andrew (8/5): - A group of us stayed, we were all upgraded to units rather than Hotel rooms with a shared bathroom. We all had our own bathrooms anand TV etc. Rooms clean and comfortable. Could be renovated, but still fine. Dinner in the Hotel was brilliant, I had Rump steak, was one of the best Rump teaks I've ever had. Thanks

- kym (1/5): CRAP - The room was filthy. There were faeces still on the toiletand my wife had to clean it off. No milk in fridge had to chase it up. Two powerpoints did not work therefore i could not use my CPAP machine. SAFETY. No flannels in the bathroom. No exhaust fan. It seems to me whoever took it over app. 6 months ago does not care about their product and just want to take the money. Nothing personal but it is the most disgusting run down room that we have ever stayed in. NEW OWNERS WHO WANT TO PLEASE THEIR CUSTOMERS. ONCE AGAIN A DISGUSTING ROOM
- Barry (3/5): Very disappointed didnt even have a shower - Comfortable beds, good food in the dinning room hot water warm at the best. Shower being worked on no shower screen room decore very basic. Thet did say they were woking on the rooms

- Kartik (10/5): Excellent - Everything Nothing
- Neil (8/5): - Good size room for the price
- Jean Paul (8/5): Aangename verblijf in een typisch outback hotel. Erg goedkope priijs. - De locatie Hawker is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor de Flinders. Ik checkte er twee keer in vroeg in de morgen, dus veel voor het officiele incheckuur, maar dat was voor de host geen probleem.
- Kathy (6/5): Hawker hotel motel accommodation - Location
Was able to change the night of staying due to car breakdown The lock on one of the windows in room 16 was broken, so felt a little unsafe.
Had to put furniture in front of it to make a noise if any intruder.
Hair on sheet under one of the pillows.
Did not take photos but left a review format with the key on departure.
- Daniel (10/5): Cosy pub stay, great little bevy and bistro for travel commuting and enjoying the friendly local community. - Nice n central! Delicious pub bistro food.
- Jean Paul (8/5): - De locatie is centraal gelegen in een gebied dat typerend is voor de outback in Zuid Australie : Flinders Range
- maryellen ryan (6/5): Good filler after leaving Wilpena , The staff were lovely and obviously trying to improve the hotel/ - The hotel is being renovated. One room had a very old bed / dodgy springs . The bathrooms could both have used a good scrub-very dusty/ We had a drink in the hotel. SA is the wine capital of the world. The wine available was Yellow Tail. Leaves a lot to be desired

- Patrick (7/5): Staff were very helpful but some of the rooms are in definite need of updating. - Convenient location to stop on route to or from the Flinders ranges. Helpful staff. Our initial room had someone else in it which means that in principle we were given an upgrade. However the 'upgraded' room had a very stained carpet and the lock didn't work on the door.
- Robyn (1/5): This place the Hawker hotel will be the ruination of the town. This place is to be avoided at all costs - Nothing about the property was memorable. We stayed in room 12 for 4 nights 30/10 - 3/11. I checked out 6 rooms before reluctantly deciding on that one because the mould was less bad than the others The whole place smells inside and out if that is at all possible. Complaints were made but nothing done. We had to clean the air conditioning filter ourselves as it was disgusting. We told management at the time but they appeared to not believe us. Im glad we didn’t eat there after reading the reviews. I couldn’t have anyway because the whole place stinks.
- John (3/5): - Staff nice , location perfect for exploring the area .
Food was reasonable priced pub grub and of average quality The rooms were very basic, we had three rooms , one had no coffee making facilities at all and one did except that there was no cups to put it in
The shared bathroom which i used the male ,had two toilet cubicles and two shower cubicles all had doors on but one door would close but would not look and the other wouldn't shut at all
- Jana (5/5): -
- Kevin (8/5): -
- Kym (5/5): -
- Maureen (9/5): - Very friendly staff
- Ian (8/5): Was perfect for my travels and management very accommodating. - Location and excellent room. Lock on door not easy to operate needed replacing. Bar / restaurant could do with a makeover. But would lose its character.
- Ian (8/5): -
- Warren (6/5): -
- Savage (6/5): Overall all we needed - Hotel brochure didn't inform about menu, or wifi. Gave more information about other restaurants than their own
- Wayne (8/5): - Great location, friendly staff, meals were excellent, good value for sure. The rooms were dated but clean
and tidy
- Hong (7/5): I like this Hotel Motel - Good location! It's a bit outdated.
- Marja (8/5): We were comfortable - The beds were comfortable. Parking in front of the room was easy. The motel was easy to reach from the highway. There was not a proper table to eat our meals at.
- Rhonda (6/5): Okay for what we needed but could have been better. - The meals were good. The four of us enjoyed what we had. The place looked a little run down and was not clean
- Smith (7/5): -
- Kapteina (1/5): I can put up with most things but not neglect. - The location was fine, that's why I picked it. Had a 50-year-old air conditioner that did not work. Had a plug that could not fit the power point. Had two light fittings in the room but only one had a bulb in it. Shared bathroom facilities which were not only shared with other residents but also the general public from the pub. Room was full of blowflies & mosquitos. Ramp to the building was made of metal that buckled every time someone walked on it making a banging noise that kept waking you up.
- Drew (7/5): - Friendly country hospitality
- Ken (4/5): - The hotel and motel need renovating
- Harris (8/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): -
- Quynh (7/5): -
- Andy (9/5): Well preserved heritage hotel - It's an old historical Hotel they are trying to keep alive. Great large sized motel rooms and good facilities given how remote the place is Extra pillows in the room would've been great
- Deb (3/5): - Very out dated and grubby
- Alison (9/5): -
- Bevan (7/5): - The hotel is an older motel style so fairly basic but clean and very suitable for a base for work or exploring the flinders. Food was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed a chat and a beer in the bar and Michael made everyone welcome. I have stayed here before and would do so again.
- Julie (8/5): - No kettle teabags or milk. A dirty cup.
The room smell was bad.
No air-conditioning.
Thses rooms should be half the price
- Wendy (6/5): - While quite a dated unit, it was clean and the bed was fine to sleep in. Could have done with extra pillows as those on the bed were very flat.
- Jamie (4/5): - Dirty
- James (6/5): - Motel part was little tired could do with a spruce up. Light switches difficult to work out. Towel rail in bathroom part falling off
- YourCareer (10/5): Clean, comfy room and friendly folks, just what you need for a stopover. - Room was clean and comfortable, with a cosy feel. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quiet spot and good value for a stopover. All good
- Horton (1/5): -
- Corey (7/5): Excellent location and food, staff friendly and super helpful - Excellent pizzas More power points so u could plug in more than just one thing, fridge, tv and ac
Bathroom facilities need updating
- Patrina (3/5): Excellent location average facilities - Good location at the gateway to the flinders ranges It was very dated, the bed was very very old and uncomfortable, the room itself was dated and needed maintenance, tv only had one channel, only provided enough milk for 2 drinks, it was a 3 berth room
- Cath (9/5): - Good outback hospitality.. Cheers Mick.. The dust
- Lorraine (6/5): - No Milk, no washing up liquid, minimally clean
- Sharon (8/5): Basic, clean accommodation - Good basic accommodation. Convenient location for an overnight stay.
- Carl (7/5): relatively comfortable, good enough for where it's located - clean comfortable room dinner was a bit iffy
- Natasha (2/5): Gross. - It was on my way to where I was going. It was really unclean, old, run down and quite unsafe.
- Michael (5/5): -
- Claire (8/5): - excellent location for overnight stop for travel into Flinders Hotel meal
- Damian (6/5): -
