- Suzy (8/5): Great value, but a couple of minor drawbacks - The house is situated exceptionally well, and is surprisingly quiet despite being on an arterial road. It was warm in winter, with plenty of extra blankets available. The price was very reasonable for a week's stay during school holidays. The host was very responsive. The parking was tricky. The street parking is restricted during the week, so the host advised me to park at the pub over the road. I did this once and got a warning from the pub to move the car. There are fewer beds than advertised. The listing states that all three bedrooms have an extra-large double bed AND a large double bed. In reality, two rooms have 1 king bed each, and the third has a single with a trundle underneath. This resulted in a large amount of negotiation amongst my three kids.
- Jez2a (10/5): Lots of room to recharge and go again! - A great character residence in a fantastic location, with lots of extras to make living there easy. Very comfortable beds. Outdoors area to grab a bite. Lots of seating, an office space. Heating (& coooling I suppose, it was the middle of winter) is plentiful. Nice hot water and the water pressure is amazing. Apart from those small features, an absolute delight. Bathrooms a little tight, water pressure amazing, and a bit of traffic noise in the front room.
