• Alynne (1/5): Just don't! - Nothing It was dirty, smelled awful. I got my room keys, walked into the room, looked around and immediately left. It felt unsafe - I would not have been comfortable sleeping there alone.
• Michael (6/5): Met our expectations. We were just looking for somewhere to rest our heads before our flight. - Location near airport The room could have been cleaner. Looking in the mirror in the bathroom I could see mold under the lip of the sink.
• Katie (1/5): I was unable to stay at this hotel and I left after twenty minutes. - The staff member who served me was respectful, however when another guest who had not waited in line interjected, they did serve this guest before me. Usually this behaviour would not bother me, but the guest who interjected put up their hand to me and told me “no, wait”. This was possibly the most dirty hotel I’ve ever been to. The lobby was passable, but my room was covered in mysterious stains, dust, a wrinkled bed that suggested it had not been made with clean sheets, and an incredibly sticky carpet. I took off my shoes briefly but had to put them back on, and then had to clean my feet and shoes because whatever had been on the floor left a residue on my feet. After twenty minutes, I booked a room at a new hotel, returned my key card, checked out and left. I later found several bug bites on me, leading me to believe there may have been bed bugs or another type of bug in the room. The staff member who served me when I checked out was polite and understanding.

• Phillippa (6/5): Hotel was clean, handy and beds super comfy is all i need! - Great packed breakfast. Friendly staff on front desk. Handy to restaurants for tea. Decor could be updated if desired but not needed to keep prices low.

• Kelly (3/5): Needs new ownership, rundown hole waste of $ - The staff put up with my frustration and was as helpful and accommodating as possible The bathtub had no drain plug that was functional, the bathroom plug-in outlet was dead for drying my hair, which is 3 feet long, the iron for RN dress clothes was broken and missing a setting knob, the TV was in operable without front desk, assistance by direction over the phone. As the elevators had no light on the buttons, you couldn’t tell where you’re going or if the elevator is coming or not. The walls are busted up from carts and things need corner protectors, the bathtub shower valve, never shut off and was dumping water all over the wall in the floor and the tub during a bath, which I plugged with a cloth. No coffee at the front desk no filtered water to drink orange water out of the tap.

• Hans-Krishna (8/5): very good and will continue to book with Travelodge in the future - I am a walker & bus user, so the proximity to Bridgeport Station is a very "likeable". I've stayed at this Travelodge a few times now, and like the familiarity I've developed. Staff are excellent - friendly, courteous and efficient. Also like the early check-in option, as it saves time at hotel check-in and appreciated the quick check-out on departure. the room was nice; however it was a bit too cool for my comfort., I turned on the heater for warmth, but only got lukewarm air, despite adjusting the setting for hot. Disappointing, however a warm bath & snuggling up under the bed covers gave me a warm and comfy sleep,

• Jamie (3/5): - There was an available room in a city with few rooms available. The staff was friendly and seemed ready to help. The room was a smoking room which I was not aware was a thing anymore. There was used underwear hanging in the entrance of the room. No screen in the window to keep bugs out. The phone did not work to call the front desk the whole property needs a drastic facelift. It costs 10 dollars a night for parking.
• Curtis (3/5): One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in in north america, do not stay at this hotel. - Close to the airport and restaurants nearby The room was disgusting. Multiple burns on the carpet floor, dirty walls, improperly installed plugs, unclean and MOULD in the bathroom. When I attempted to change the room, they told me to call booking.com. The Booking had an AI phone message, and nothing could be done. Complete waste of money. Be cautious if your hotel has issues and you want to make a change. You can not reach a live agent at booking.com. I recorded my booking call with AI. The hotel itself was dirty with garbage everywhere. Burnt out lights in elevator suggesting a need for elevator maintence past due which is a major code violation in BC. And many more issues.

There were ciggarett burns everywhere, including the toilet seat. I am sure someone must have been killed in the room I stayed in. I couldn’t get the smell of smoke out of my luggage, hair or shoes so much so I threw out the luggage. I cannot believe this travel lodge exists. I don’t leave reviews but this was so bad I slept 3 hours & just got up to leave. I was so sleep deprived I shouldn’t have driven but it was that bad I could not stay another min.

• MICHELE (1/5): Whilst room met our expectations the arrival was anything but pleasant! - The room itself was comfortable and quiet however felt like we had entered a war zone and the staff were dismissive! Property is under massive redevelopment renovations. Arrived to find property surrounded by scaffolding and on entering the foyer it looked like a demolition site. Had to wait for construction workers to find hotel staff to check us in and when I mentioned that nobody had mentioned there would be construction workers she said booking com should of notified us but that the work shouldn’t impact us as they only work 7am to 6pm. I pointed out that I had communicated with the hotel about our arrival time, therefore they had means of communicating with us and the response was they only started this month and we booked months ago!

• Michelle (4/5): All together, an unpleasant stay. The room was extremely musky but the bed comfy! - The only thing I enjoyed was the mattress and location of hotel. Upon arrival, I expected a certain price, not aware by time of payment it’d bounce up to over double the price. The hotel room had a dirty sheet and supplied no soap. If you bring your pet, be prepared to use the stairs. So let’s hope you’re not in a wheelchair or have a broken leg, as we’re not allowed in the elevator. Not to be shocked, but There’s 2 additional fees on top of the original cost!! A parking fee, and an additional pet fees. These aren’t deposits, but fees! After googling PET FRIENDLY hotel, I assumed I’d pay a deposit, not a FEE! The hotel is prohibited NON SMOKING hotel. After arriving, I returned to front desk to complain about the next room smoking cigarettes. Front desk apologized, saying it was on their clothing. No sir, he’s smoking in his room! Front desk resolved the issue by spraying FREBREEZE! 🤦🏻‍♀️ The photo below shows shampoo and conditioner I used for hand soap!

• Oliver (8/5): Cheap and simple: you get what you pay for - Stayed here many times before. Reliable, good location, and exactly what you’d expect for the price The hotel itself is extremely outdated, and showing very obvious signs of wear and tear. The mattress was lumpy, but tolerable for a 1 night stay. Although only a slight inconvenience and (hopefully) an isolated incident: when I got to my room, I found 3 bottles of shampoo in the bathroom, but no soap of any kind. Not even hand soap. I called the front desk and requested soap. Someone showed up a couple minutes later with a bar of soap… and yet another bottle of shampoo.

• Sherry (10/5): This hotel is our choice for when we fly out of country( not often ) but it has been a good place - Friendly and helpful staff No shuttle to airport, but they arranged a taxi for us
• Kitching (8/5): - The rooms were large and very nice, very quick being in a busy area. There is no airport shuttle, given that is thier main advertisement draw, they should have that. It should never cost 25$ to go from the airport to the hotel and another 25$ to go back.

When I got to the hotel I was promised that the original booking was canceled and would not be charged. Rooms and pool are from the 70s and need a renovation. Old facility, need renos.
