Lidt tørt og flere dage gammelt brød, som fik en tur i microen og så blev det til at spise. Ikke det store wauw, men ok. Forskelligt morgenmad at byde på og te/kaffe. Mary gør, hvad hun kan. Der er høj sequrity, fint område i Annex, forholdsvis tæt på city og f.eks. Casa Loma og Yorkville. God 4 km gåtur ( ca. 1 time) til City. Med transport: Gå 15 min til Spandina Station og tag linie 1 mod Finch Station og stå af på Union (ca. 15 min). Skal du retur til Bathurst Street, hvor huset er, så tager du linie 1 mod Vaughan fra Union. Transport er let. Benyt dit betalingskort på telefon eller benyt Presto på telefon. (Benyttes i busser/tog og Metro). Boligen ligger lige overfor Toronto Tekniske skole. (Central Technical School). Flere spisesteder.

• Shamini (10/5): Best place to stay in Toronto - The whole house is spotlessly clean. I had a comfortable room and a private bathroom. Mary thinks of all the little details. The breakfast is excellent. 9 types of cereal. Bagels, croissants, sliced white, and multi grain bread. She also had boiled eggs, Italian ham and black forest ham, yogurt, orange, and apple juice. A whole lot of different coffee pods and instant coffee. She had different teas, 2 types of cream cheese, oranges, apples, and bananas. She doesn't let us do the dishes! I saw peanut butters, Nutella, and syrups. Would take an hour to eat all that! Beautiful, granite top kitchen island to sit and eat. Excellent location. 6 minute walk to TTC station. I slept very well. It was quiet, and the bed was very warm and comfortable. 1 minute walk to krispy kreme. Beautiful little suburb. I'll definitely come here and stay everytime I come to Toronto. It's a home away from home. She provides free bottled water and she's always around to answer questions. Everything was perfect. Mary is a wonderful host.

La chambre est par ailleurs d’une propreté impeccable, et le service est sans faute. Un très bon petit déjeuner. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour tout voyageur qui se rendrait à Toronto.

• Constantin (9/5): Alles TIP-TOP... gerne wieder - Frau Wang führt das kleine Guesthouse sehr sauber und akribisch. Sie ist immer vor Ort, öffnet auch bei sehr später Ankunft persönlich die Türe und hat immer ein Lächlen auf den Lippen. Das Frühstück ist so reichhaltig wie in einem 5*-Hotel und man bekommt netten Kontak zu den anderen Gästen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! nichts

• Xinyi (10/5): Wonderful! - The moment I stepped into the house, it felt like coming home. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept for nine hours. When I woke up, breakfast was ready. Lying in bed, I could even smell the scent of laundry detergent—fresh and comforting, just like a mother’s embrace. Nothing! The only downside was probably that my stay was too short—I really wished I could enjoy another night of sleep in that bed.

• Zoi Gavriilidou (8/5): A cozy stay with great hospitality and an excellent location. - I had a very pleasant stay at Xiao Wang, mainly thanks to the wonderful hospitality. Maria truly made us feel at home—she provided everything we needed with kindness and care. I asked for an early check-in, and she generously offered it free of charge. On the last day, she also let me leave my luggage and pick it up later, which was extremely helpful. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the location was excellent: close to the subway, buses, and the tram, and within walking distance of Bloor Street, the University area, Kensington Market, and Little Italy. couple of things future guests should know: the room is small, with no wardrobe or TV, and you need to climb a staircase to reach it (which was fine for me, but it’s worth mentioning). The ventilation could also be improved, as some cooking smells from the kitchen entered the room. Even with these minor points, the overall experience was very positive thanks to Maria’s exceptional hospitality. I would gladly stay again!

• Anette (10/5): Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal - Die Frau war sehr nett und engagiert bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Entfernung von den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten war für Fußgänger sehr weit (ca. 1h Fußweg).

• Stefan (9/5): Prima plek om te verblijven! - Host Mary is een superlieve vrouw die haar uiterste best doet om het je naar de zin te maken. De locatie is makkelijk te vinden en ook te voet goed te bereiken vanaf metrostation Bathurst. Vanaf het vliegveld neem je Airportexpreslijn 900 naar het kleine en overzichtelijke Kipling station en daar stap je over op de metro. Een kind kan de was doen. In alle openbaar vervoer tap je gewoon je creditcard voor toegang, dus geen moeilijk gedoe met kaartjes. Hou er rekening mee dat debitcards in Canada niet vaak geaccepteerd worden, ook niet in het openbaar vervoer dus. Heerlijk bed, blinkend schoon, goede wifi, goede douche. Koelkastje en flesjes water op de kamer. Maar koop geen fles wijn met kurk als je geen opener bij je hebt. :) Na de persoonlijke incheck krijg je de codes voor de buitendeur en je kamer. Het ontbijtje is simpel (net of je thuis in de keuken zit te eten met de voorverpakte supermarktspullen op tafel.) Maar het is inclusief (ondanks dat booking.com mij wijs probeerde te maken dat ik het gratis kreeg vanwege mijn “Genius-status”) en een lekkere maagvuller om de dag te beginnen met een lekker bakkie koffie erbij. Ik heb hier met plezier verbleven. Mijn badkamer was niet ín mijn kamer maar aan de overkant van de gang. Alhoewel compleet privé en geen probleem voor mij vind ik wel dat dat vantevoren vermeld had moeten worden. Prijs is iewat aan de pittige kant.

The location couldn't be better - close to key attractions, restaurants, and easy transport options. We'll definitely be coming back!

Owner may want to consider providing guests with a quick overview about what is available for breakfast when they arrive in breakfast room. She was caring and considerate and went out of her way to help me feel comfortable on that first day. Mary cared for her guests and I am grateful for the assistance she offered.

Per il resto tutto ok, la fermata della metro e degli autobus a 5 minuti a piedi. Consigliato il bagno e la TV in camera

La Mary és molt atenta. L'habitació estava neta, el lavabo era còmode, i l'esmorzar abundant i variat. Si torno a Toronto intentaré tornar aquí!

• MONICA (8/5): Buon B&B a Toronto - Buon bed & breakfast a Toronto: la camera era spaziosa e pulita (pulizia giornaliera) e la signora che lo gestisce molto gentile. La colazione viene servita nella casa della signora, a fianco, con varietà di cibo dolce o salato (yogurt, cereali, frutta..). La posizione è buona, in un quartiere tranquillo, con ristoranti, e collegato al centro città. La signora è stata anche molto disponibile a cambiare, nei giorni precedenti l'arrivo, la camera prenotata perchè mi ero accorta di aver prenotato una camera con bagno privato ESTERNO. I prezzi di Toronto sono molto alti, quindi anche questo non fa eccezione. La posizione è buona ma essendo Toronto una città molto grande, ci vuole comunque un po' di tempo per raggiungere il centro, anche se vicino alla struttura c'è sia la fermata della metro che dell'autobus. Dal momento che la signora abita a fianco, consiglio di avvisare prima sull'orario di arrivo in modo che possa venire ad aprire e comunicare i codici di accesso: forse sarebbe più comodo che venissero inviati prima dell'arrivo. Attenzione che qualche camera ha il bagno privato ESTERNO per cui consiglio di verificare direttamente col gestore.

• Diane (9/5): Amazing host, comfortable room, and filling breakfast. Perfect stay for the weekend! - Mary is a lovely and welcoming host. My partner and I got a double room with a private bathroom and it was clean, comfortable, and just the perfect space for 2 people. Location is perfect as it’s very close to Bathurst station. We had a nice walk along Korea-town. Mary also provided a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. Will surely come back again!
